Mark Ronson: Michael Jackson hated watching porn

Mark Ronson

Producer Mark Ronson once tried to make his childhood pal Michael Jackson watch porn – but the pop superstar hated the experience and wasn’t amused.

Ronson, whose father Laurence was a band manager, used to spend his time in the company of John Lennon’s son Sean and Jackson as they were growing up.

The trio would frequently have sleepovers – but when Ronson and Lennon used to switch over the TV to the pornography channel, Jackson was left cringing with embarrassment.

He recalls, “It’s a weird story, but I didn’t touch him. We (Ronson and Lennon) used to watch the porn channel because we were like 10 and, ‘Oh my God, tits!’ So Michael was in bed. And me and Sean said, ‘Michael do you want to see something cool?”

“We turned the dial to the porn channel and there were strippers shaking their tits around. We were like, ‘Michael, Michael, how cool is this?’ We turned around and he was cringing, saying, ‘Ooh stop it, stop it, ooh it’s so silly.’ We were like, ‘Michael, you have to look, maybe you’re not seeing it right, it’s naked girls!’

“He was not down with the program whatsoever! I think he had really strong feminist views on porn.”

Ronson’s comments were made during the taping of British gameshow the Sunday Night Project, which is due to air in the U.K. on Sunday.

And yes, that’s Michael Jackson under all those layers!

Michael Jackson, 49, whose unique fashion sense ranges from sequined gloves to surgical masks, is working on a new clothing line with Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier. “It’s still in the developing stages, but it’s going to be big,” an insider tells Life & Style. “This will be a major comeback for Michael. He’s dedicating a lot of his time and money to this venture.”

Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch for sale?

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson’s famously extravagant home, the Neverland Ranch, will be put up for public auction if the singer doesn’t pay more than $24 million, according to a court filing.

Financial Title Co. filed the notice of trustee’s sale on Tuesday. If the financially troubled singer cannot pay off the loan, the auction will take place on March 19 at the Santa Barbara County courthouse.

Sources say that when the ranch goes up for sale, everything in it goes, too. That includes furnishings, appliances, fixtures, rides, games, etc.

Debt.com Offers $23 Million and Financial Advice to Save Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch

michael-jackson-neverland-ranch-sale.jpg

In a move to help the struggling King of Pop, Debt.com has offered Michael Jackson an opportunity to dodge financial ruin in exchange for an official endorsement of the leading debt solution site.

After defaulting on a $23 million loan and failing to meet a November 15 deadline to pay $3.8 million to his former manager, Jackson is more than one month into a 90-day countdown to losing Neverland Ranch. And contrary to his publicist’s claims, he is nowhere near paying off his debt. In fact, despite an anticipated album release in 2008 and rumors of a Jackson 5 reunion tour, Wacko Jacko is virtually bankrupt.

“This is something we’ve seen time and time again from celebrities too proud to stay within a reasonable budget,” said Todd Cook of Debt.com. “But I think it’s safe to say that Michael Jackson has set a new precedent for truly and irreversibly ruining his life, shattering previously held records by such hard-falling celebs as MC Hammer, Boy George and Vanilla Ice.”

Jackson has until January 19 to rescue Neverland Ranch and save face – or at least what’s left of it.

“Paying off the $23 million loan is the most crucial move at this point,” said Cook. “Michael Jackson needs to take a long, hard look at the ‘Man in the Mirror’ and accept that he needs more than just financial assistance. We are willing to hold his gloved hand and nurse him back to financial health in exchange for his endorsement.”
