Mel Gibson is being investigated by the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department over claims that he abused (ie: punched) his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva.

TMZ reports:

Sources tell TMZ the alleged incidents occurred in Malibu in both January and February of this year. We’re told it’s a “spousal abuse” investigation and the alleged victim is Oksana. Sources tell TMZ Sheriff’s deputies interviewed Oksana on Monday.

The Sheriff’s Dept. has released a statement claiming investigators are “currently gathering information regarding the allegations.”

Tsk, tsk! He should just give it up already. He’s looking like more of a douche every day and I didn’t think that was possible.

Oksana Grigorieva may be sitting on some pretty damning evidence against Mel Gibson, the father of her eight-month-old daughter Lucia.

According to RadarOnline, Okssana apparently has explosive photos that will show her bloodied, bruised and missing teeth, after a confrontation with the Oscar winner.

Mel was was caught on tape erupting into a racist tirade at Oksana — in which he said she looked “like a f– king pig in heat” who could “get raped by a pack of n ***ers” — the photos reportedly substantiate her explosive claim that the actor/director punched her in the face.

Gibson’s lawyer has emphatically denied he was violent toward the Russian singer during an incident that took place at Gibson’s Malibu mansion on January 6.

“You can see Oksana’s two main front teeth were broken and there are bruises all over her face,” said the pal, who has seen the photos.

“They will come out eventually and she is prepared to use them in their court case.”

Now all these recorded tapes are being leaked with Mel calling Oksana horrible names and using racial slurs.

How can this man who had a hand in making The Passion Of Christ be doing all these things? It’s very sad.

Who’s telling the truth and who’s not in this case? It’s just a bad situation for all concerned.

I just hope their daughter Lucia is ok and has a happy childhood despite all of this.

According to RadarOnline, Mel Gibson’s ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva has secret evidence against Mel Gibson! Oksana reportedly stored the evidence on a DVD.

Immediately following this revelation, Gibson asked the court to seal her DVD evidence and got an order prohibiting her to make it public.

These new details come days after the pair each filed restraining orders against each other.

Gibson, 54, and Grigorieva, 40 have an eight-month-old daughter together. They split in April after being together a little over a year.

The Russian musician filed a restraining order against her ex-lover first, prohibiting him from coming within 100 yards of her.

According to reports, Gibson allegedly punched Oksana in the face two times during a fit of rage, which gave her a concussion. This incident allegedly happened on January 6th.

Believe it or not, no one in Gibson’s camp has denied the abuse…

Mel Gibson sought a restraining order against former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva only after Grigorieva filed for a domestic violence restraining order against Gibson earlier this week.

Lawyers for Grigorieva had an emergency hearing in family law court on Monday, telling the judge Gibson had been “extremely violent” with her, reports TMZ.

Grigorieva is the mother of Gibson’s 7-month-old daughter, Lucia. She and Gibson ended their relationship in April.

The order issued against Gibson prohibits contact with Grigorieva, prompting the actor-director’s own legal team to request that the order be modified to allow him to see Lucia.

Gibson’s own order against Grigorieva reportedly concerns a restriction on the release of certain information. His camp flatly denies the violence allegations.

Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva, his Russian musician-singer girlfriend and mother of their 5-month-old daughter, have split after over a year of dating, a source tells People.

“They just drifted apart,” says a close friend of the couple of the amicable split. “They’re both working hard on their careers and trying to raise a sweet baby together. They’re still friends and they’ll both raise Lucia together.”

Gibson is in Mexico filming How I Spent My Summer Vacation, and Grigorieva is working on her music. Next week, she has plans to perform a charity concert in Russia to benefit “Grant Life,” a foundation to help children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

In addition to Lucia, who was born on October 30, 2009, Gibson, 54, has seven children (six sons and a daughter) with his estranged wife Robyn, while Grigorieva has a son, Alexander, with her former boyfriend, actor Timothy Dalton.

In April of last year, the actor’s wife of 30 years filed for divorce. Later that month, he and Grigorieva made their first public appearance together as a couple.

Gibson’s rep had no comment.
