Karma’s a bitch! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mel Gibson was going to be in the sequel, but his part was axed!

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department has filed legal docs obtained by TMZ … indicating Oksana Grigorieva may well be prosecuted for extortion.

The docs — opposing Oksana’s motion to limit the Sheriff’s access to material in her computer — state, “Evidence obtained from the Hard Drive would be used in a forthcoming criminal prosecution when Detective Wagner’s findings are presented to the District Attorney’s Office.”

In opposing Oksana’s motion, the Sheriff’s Department claims it needs to do a thorough search of Oksana’s computer because, “It is common for evidence to be found on a suspect’s computer and hidden or mis-labeled in a particular computer file.”

Arguments on the search warrant will be heard today at 1:30 PM PT, I’ll update more when I hear it!

Mel Gibson is hoping to revive his career, like Tom Cruise did with his Les Grossman role in ‘Tropic Thunder’.

Mel has quickly become one of the most hated actors in Hollywood following the now famous audio tapes. He and ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva are now embroiled in a very ugly court battle.

According to New York Post’s Page Six, he’s planning a comeback – starting with a cameo in ‘The Hangover 2′. He’s reportedly going to play a Bangkok tattoo artist.

“It’s a done deal,” a source told Page Six. “Filming is taking place on the Warner Bros. lot, where a Bangkok set has been built and Mel is expected to film his role in two weeks. Then the production moves to Thailand at the end of October.”

‘The Hangover 2′ will follow the comedic adventures of Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, and Justin Bartha as they head to Thailand for a ‘boys only’ trip. Things take a nasty turn in Bangkok, where they have another run-in with Asian gangster Mr. Chow, who will once again be played by Ken Jeong.

I think this is genius! If done well, this could be good for Mel!

TMZ is reporting that Oksana Grigorieva has just been awarded $15,000 MORE a month from Mel Gibson, in their child support case. $15,000 MORE!? That’s just sick and wrong. I’m sorry but c’mon now.

Judge Scott Gordon upped Mel’s child support payment from $5,000 a month to $20,000 a month! Man, she sure hit the jackpot, didn’t she! $240,000 a year – until the baby is 18!? This really makes me sick a little bit, not gonne lie.

Oksana’s lawyers asked the judge to up the payments to $60,000 a month, which makes my stomach turn. That’s awful. Who in their right mind can argue that raising a child costs $60,000!!

L.A. County Sheriff’s Department are looking to speak to Mel Gibson for the third time in connection with the extortion cast against Oksana Grigorieva.

Sources tell TMZ that the fact he’s being interviewed again suggests they are taking the extortion case very seriously.

In July – Oksana released a series of tapes in which Mel Gibson screamed and threatened ex-girlfriend, and the mother of his daughter, Oksana. Sources came out shortly after with “hard proof” that Oksana had tried to extort Mel for $10 million. She offered to keep the tapes under wraps in exchange for the large sum of money.

Mel Gibson, 54, was driving alone in his 2008 Maserati around 8:35PM on Sunday, when he lost control and crashed into a hillside in Malibu.

“Mr. Gibson supplied all the pertinent information to the officers at the scene, gave a statement and received a ride home from a friend,” Ramirez tells Us Weekly. “His vehicle was towed from the scene.”

Unlike his past 2006 driving drama, Ramirez tells Us: “Driving under the influence is not suspected in this accident.”

Gibson is currently embroiled in an ugly custody battle with his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva over their 9-month-old daughter Lucia.

Authorities want to know what Violet Kowal knows.

The Polish-born model, who claims to have had an affair with Mel Gibson that ended in January, was contacted about two weeks ago by Los Angeles County law-enforcement officials in connection with an ongoing investigation concerning Gibson, a source exclusively tells E! News.

“She hasn’t done a formal interview yet, but they have contacted her,” the source says.

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that it is investigating both Oksana Grigorieva’s domestic violence allegation against Gibson and his claim that she tried to extort roughly $10 million from him in exchange for not releasing the recordings she made of him ranting over the phone.

No arrests have been made or charges filed in either matter.

The domestic violence probe is expected to be completed and turned over to the District Attorney’s Office within the next two weeks, Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said Monday.

E!’s source did not say which investigation might involve Kowal, whose rep did not return a request for comment.

In a recent interview with E! News, she says that, during the course of their approximately 6-month relationship, Gibson never talked about Grigorieva, nor did she meet her.

Gibson, meanwhile, denied having an affair with the adult-website operator when the National Enquirer linked the two together in May.
