It was announced last week that Megan Fox would not be returning to Tranformers 3 (see her replacement here!).  According to sources, there is no love lost – on either side.

“Megan only got $800,000 for Transformers 2,” claims a robot-flick insider very familiar with Fox’s personal and professional dealings. “I heard her say she only got $800,000 several times, and, I guarantee you, that’s why she didn’t do the third one. She wanted more money.”

While Megan may not have been paid equal to, say, Shia LaBeouf, another source tells us the money stuff isn’t true.

“She got paid way more than that,” says a close Fox friend and ally. “This was never about money. It’s always been how she was treated as a human being, it just wasn’t good.”

No discrepancy on that from our Transformers source—like, at all:

“[Megan] would constantly complain about having to go to work, she never wanted to do it,” dishes the franchise know-it-all. “Bay would constantly scream at her. He would scream at everyone, but especially Megan. Imagine a really, really bitchy grandmother on the set, and that’s what Michael Bay is like.”

Megan Fox has always had a lot to say about Director Michael Bay. She has called him awkward and a tyrant in past interviews. Sounds like she bit the hand that fed her, because many claim he made her a star. That’s gratitude for you.

Transformers 3 is scheduled to be released July 2011.

Megan Fox got fired from Transformers 3!!

ET has exclusively confirmed that the ‘Transformers’ movie franchise is moving forward without Megan Fox. Paramount Pictures confirms to ET that Fox’s contract has not been picked up for the third installment of the series.

There is speculation that Shia LaBeouf’s character will move in a new direction with a new love interest for ‘Transformers 3.’

Back in September, Megan called director Michael Bay Hilter in an interview with Wonderland Magazine. Maybe next time she’ll think twice?

“He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he’s not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he’s so awkward, so hopelessly awkward. He has no social skills at all. And it’s endearing to watch him. He’s vulnerable and fragile in real life and then on set he’s a tyrant. Shia and I almost die when we make a Transformers movie. He has you do some really insane things that insurance would never let you do.”

Well, don’t worry Megan – you won’t have to deal with him any longer!

In the latest issue of Allure, Megan Fox opens up about her struggle with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

“This is a sickness, I have an illness — this is not OK anymore,” she says.

The ‘Transformers’ star talks about how she won’t use toilets without covers — “I’m never doing that again. Every time someone uses a bathroom and they flush, all the bacteria is shot into the air.” — and how she feels about restaurant silverware — “Putting my mouth where a million other mouths have been, just knowing all the bacteria that you carry in your mouth? Ucch!”

Her racy interviews: “I was trying to be lighthearted and have a sense of humor, but I have no desire to express it, really, anymore, because I’ve always been f****** doing so.”

Food: “I’ll starve to death before I’ll cook for myself. I think I could survive a week without eating.”

Being alone: “I could go days, weeks without talking to another human being.”
