Megan Fox washed Michael Bay’s Ferrari as an audition

Megan Fox

“Page Six” is reporting that Michael Bay got his revenge on Megan Fox for her rude comments about “Transformers”. In her audition for the movie, he had her wash his Ferrari:

There’s a video of Megan Fox we want to see.

When the sizzling star of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” went to director Michael Bay’s house to audition for the part, “He made her wash his Ferrari while he filmed her,” reports Jason Solomons in Britain’s Guardian.

“She said she didn’t know what had happened to that footage. When I put it to Bay himself, he looked suitably abashed — ‘Er, I don’t know where it is either.’ ”

Now I think that’s totally sexist of him to say it like that and he probably referred to her as the help. It was enough that he already had said that she was basically nobody until he found her and put her in his movie. I guess it might have been his way to just say, “Be humble”, but he should’ve went about it differently.

What do you think?

Director: Megan Fox “Says Some Very Ridiculous Things”

90619a2_fox_m_b-gr_091.jpg

Megan Fox slammed Transformers director Michael Bay for focusing more on special effects than acting, but he doesn’t mind.

“Well, that’s Megan Fox for you,” Bay tell the Wall Street Journal. “She says some very ridiculous things because she’s 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do.

“You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, ‘Okay Megan, you can do whatever you want. I got it,’” he goes on.

Fox told Entertainment Weekly: “I mean, I can’t s— on this movie because it did give me a career and open all these doors for me. But I don’t want to blow smoke up people’s a–. People are well aware that this is not a movie about acting.”

Bay says he “100 percent disagrees” with Fox.

“Nick Cage wasn’t a big actor when I cast him, nor was Ben Affleck. before I put him in Armageddon. Shia LaBeouf wasn’t a big movie star before he did Transformers — and then he exploded. Not to mention Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, from Bad Boys,” he points out.

Bay thinks Fox could be a little more grateful, though.

“Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in Transformers,” he says. “I like to think that I’ve had some luck in building actors’ careers with my films.”

My Review: Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen

transformers_movie_megan_fox_shia_labeouf.jpg

The battle for Earth has ended but the battle for the universe has just begun. After returning to Cybertron, Starscream assumes command of the Decepticons, and has decided to return to Earth with force. The Autobots believing that peace was possible finds out that Megatron’s dead body has been stolen from the US Military by Skorpinox and revives him using his own spark. Now Megatron is back seeking revenge and with Starscream and more Decepticon reinforcements on the way, the Autobots with reinforcements of their own, may have more to deal with then meets the eye.

Let me just start out by saying that I loved the first Transformers. I thought it was smart, witty, hilarious and the special effects were amazing.  Sure, whenever the robots opened their mouth -you had to laugh, but still, I really enjoyed it!

But I didn’t enjoy the sequel as much. I thought it was funny only a few times, and in almost 3 hours – you need comedy to keep it going.  The robots were bigger – and “scarier” in this movie, and there were lots more of them.  Maybe that’s what killed it for me – just too much of everything!  The special effects really were amazing. More than once I caught my mouth open, just thinking “how in the world did they do that!”  But unfortunately, all this movie really has to offer, is special effects.

Shia Labeouf is awesome. I’m not going to say anything mean about him.  I love me some “Shala Laboof” as my kids call him. Megan Fox on the other hand, I don’t mind being mean to her! While she’s beautiful, no denying that, she can’t act to save her life.  Her lines are painfully delivered – and I almost felt bad for her. She has to be one of the worst actresses out there. At least she looks pretty!

Bottom line? I thought it was entertaining, but it was just too much.  Too loud, too many robots, too long, too many stupid one liner’s.   I’m sure it will make a ton of money, and there are plenty of people who are going to love it. But I’m just not one of them. I thought it was for the most part, pretty stupid.

But that’s just me!

Box Office: ‘Transformers 2′ earns $201 million its first five days

fp_3180967_rij_transformers_0622091.jpg

Michael Jackson’s death may have overshadowed Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen as the top entertainment story of the weekend, but it didn’t hamper its box-office performance. After opening to an astounding $60.6 million on Wednesday, the PG-13 rated robot mash-up has grossed an estimated $201 million over its first five days, second only to The Dark Knight’s 5-day opening of $203 million. Its Friday-Sunday total reached $112 million, the best three-day opening this summer. IMAX screens accounted for $14.4 million.

The only other new release of the weekend, the Cameron Diaz-weepie My Sister’s Keeper, grossed $12 million for a fifth place in the box office derby. The rest of the top five was dominated by successful holdovers with The Proposal dropping only 45% its second weekend in theaters for a ten-day cume of $69.1 million and a weekend take of $18.5 million. The Hangover keeps on trucking, grossing an additional $17.2 million for a total cume of $183.2 million and third spot in the rankings. Pixar’s Up has now outgrossed Cars, earning $13 million for a total take of $250 million.

Did you see Transformers this weekend? What did you think?  I’m hoping to get out to see it this week.
