Mary Louise Parker has broken off her engagement to Weeds co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan, according to reports.
The couple, who both appear on the hit U.S. TV series, got engaged in February this year after they began dating in 2006. They briefly split in June, but later reconciled their relationship.
The pair’s split has been blamed on their “differing lifestyles”, reports the Associated Press, but Parker hopes to remain friends with Morgan.

Mary-Louise Parker has finally found happiness with actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan — and has an engagement ring to prove it! A friend confirms to In Touch that the actress, 43, and Jeffrey, 41, are definitely set to wed, adding, “Mary-Louise is the nicest person and the best mother. She is really happy about this.” Jeffrey may have the right woman picked out, but the ring he bought was all wrong. “It was four sizes too big,” the friend reveals to In Touch, because the P.S. I Love You star forgot his fiancée’s ring size. When the pair weds, he’ll inherit a family — Mary-Louise has two kids: Will, 4, and Ash, a baby girl adopted from Africa in September. Jeffrey plays Mary-Louise’s deceased husband on Showtime’s Weeds.

Congrats to Mary-Louise Parker and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. We can reveal they just got engaged.
Let’s hope that finally shuts up those who kept insisting they’d never last.
Morgan’s proposal also constitutes something of a last laugh for Parker, who was jettisoned by ”Big Fish” star Billy Crudup for Claire Danes when Parker was seven months pregnant with his son, Atticus.
The unsinkable Parker found love again with Morgan on the set of “Weeds.” Crudup and Danes ended up splitting.
Mary-Louise Parker, who won an Emmy for her role in “Angels in America,” and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who won hearts as Denny Duquette on “Grey’s Anatomy,” called it quits June of last year after a brief romance.
“We’re not together anymore,” Morgan told People magazine at the movie premiere of Kabluey at the L.A. Film Festival in Westwood.
“Everything’s fine, but it just didn’t work out. Wrong time in both our lives.”
But the couple, who play husband and wife on the hit show “Weeds,” have recently rekindled their love and officially announced their engagement. The two had showed up at the “P.S. I Love You” premiere in December 2007 holding hands.
From 1996 to November 2003, Crudup dated Parker, who delivered their boy, William Atticus Parker, on Jan. 7 2004 at New York’s St. Vincent’s Hospital. She named him William after his father.

Actress Mary-Louise Parker says that she feels sorry for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt because of the “immoral” way their family is pursued by the paparazzi wherever they go. Parker, who starred alongside Brad Pitt in The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford, said that she is outraged that photographers feel it is acceptable to swarm around celebrities and their children.
She says, “I think it’s inhumane. The media’s gotten more and more salacious, they’re just ruthless. As people, I think it’s our duty to protect children at whatever cost and they really exploit the children of celebrities, especially their children [Brad & Angelina's], at whatever cost to get a picture of them.”
She adds, “It feels really immoral to me. It’s not fair for them. I think they actually handle it well.”

He’ll always be Denny (Grey’s Anatomy) to me.

Are MLP & JDM going to give it another go?
The “Weeds” star & “P.S. I Love You” star may be together again after they showed up at the P.S. I Love You premiere Sunday night, with arms around each other. The couple originally split back in June. Parker, 43, even held Morgan’s hand while he did an interview.
When asked what he thought about his date – who looked hot in a dangerously short dress – Morgan, 41, responded, “What about her?” as he raised an eyebrow and flashed a sly grin.
I like them together- she deserves a good one after what Billy Crudup did to her.
