Hills star Spencer Pratt is flattered that Mary-Kate Olsen commented about his temper to David Letterman Thursday.

“I don’t really get why she’d use my name to get press for her little indie film that no one’s going to see,” he told Usmagazine.com Friday. “She should probably focus more on not getting dressed in the dark than on me.”

While promoting her indie film The Wackness, Olsen told Letterman that Pratt played soccer at her high school and “he does not have a good temper. He would walk off the field.”

But Pratt told Us that Olsen went to Campbell Hall in North Hollywood while he attended Crossroads School in Santa Monica.

“I know I’ve made it in Hollywood when a famous troll is talking about me on Letterman,” Pratt told Us.

“I forgive her, though,” he added. “She’s had to go through life as the less cute twin, which must be tough.”

Mary-Kate Olsen is returning to the small screen.

She will have a guest role on the ABC sitcom Samatha Who, starring Christina Applegate.

The Full House alum — who just celebrated her 22nd birthday — played a devout Christian on the Showtime drama Weeds last year.

She will hit the big screen later this summer in the indie The Wackness (she kisses 64-year-old Ben Kingsley).

“It’s weird to be called a celebrity…” Olsen recently told Elle. “I mean, if I see a paparazzi shot of me walking that’s in a magazine or something at some event, it’s as if I see it from an outsider’s point of view. There’s like a character, almost, and then there’s me. I think it’s kind of entertaining.”

Although Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are fiercely private, details about the twins’ lives are slowly emerging. The latest: how the two achieve their signature smiles.

“Every time they pose and smile, they say the word ‘prune,’” a source close to the girls told OK!.

Another source close to the Olsens could not confirm the precise word they use as their smile trigger, but says their smiles are keys to their identity. “It could be true (that they say prune) but unfortunately I can’t say — they like to keep their personal lives personal,” said the source. “They do care about their smiles though. Mary-Kate has slightly thinner lips and more of a playful grin, while Ashley tends to go for a full-on pout. It has been the obv(ious) way to tell them apart for years.”

Mary Kate Olsen has hit out at people who question her about the Olsen twins’ fortune – insisting her personal wealth is of no concern to the outside world.

The 21-year-old began acting as a baby, appearing in 1980s show Full House alongside twin sister Ashley.

And the pair, who have gone on to launch a hugely lucrative merchandising empire, are estimated to be worth over $100 million.

But when questioned on her position as a wealthy young woman, Olsen insists it shouldn’t be of interest to anyone.

She tells Us magazine, “It’s nobody’s business if I am or I’m not (rich).”

And the star doubts she would have considered a career in showbusiness had she not started out as a youngster, insisting she is only acting now because it is all she has ever known.

She adds, “I grew up in it. It wasn’t something that I aspired to. It’s just something I knew. For me, I just worked. I had a job. I’ve had a job for 21 years.”

After nearly five months, Mary-Kate Olsen still refuses to speak about the fact that she was the first person called after Heath Ledger was found dead in his apartment.

“I’m not going to comment on that,” Olsen, who turns 22 on June 13, tells Elle in its July issue. “I won’t give you a word about that in the nicest way possible. Let’s move on.”

The actress, who said in a statement last January that “Heath was a “friend” and “his death is a tragic loss,” also keeps mum about being a celebrity.

“It’s not a part of my life. It’s a media perception of who I am,” she tells the magazine. “It’s very weird. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have sold their massive multi-million dollar New York penthouse, and their neighbors are happy to see the twins and their partying ways hit the road.

The 22-year-old media mogul sisters snapped up the massive Manhattan pad in 2004 after moving from their native Los Angeles to the east coast to attend New York University.

But they have sold it for $10.45 million, after dropping the price by almost $1 million to ensure a quick sale.

A former neighbor of the starlets tells the New York Post, “The bodyguards in their SUVs are always getting in the way of our alternate-side parking routine. You’d think the president was living here.

“They certainly keep late hours. I was jogging early one morning and they were piling out of their gas guzzlers in their little club outfits.”

The sisters are now set to rent another apartment in the city’s star-studded West Village area at a $12,000 a month price tag.

Their new home — a 10-room triplex brownstone — includes five bedrooms, three bathrooms and a terrace.

In the meantime, the buying price for their former abode has been lowered from $11.9 million to $10.45 million.
