Just weeks after former Saved by the Bell actor Mario Lopez and Ali Landry got married in 2004, rumors started swirling that he had already been caught cheating on her.

Seven years later Mario comes clean about his past infidelities on Howard Stern.

“It was my bachelor party,” the Extra host admitted, explaining that he had been “bouncing around” Mexico with his cousins. “I had no business of being in that position,” he said, offering that he “messed around” with another woman.

He elaborated a bit on the fling. “It was spring break….everybody was hanging out. That was a situation where I was not mature and man enough.”

Before heading out for his big weekend, Lopez didn’t tell then-fiancee Landry the whole truth. “I said I was going to Cabo…to go marlin fishing,” he explained. “Then my cousin surprised me and said ‘No, …we’re going on this whirlwind tour: Cabo, Acapulco, all these places.’”

Rather than telling Landry about the change of plans, “I figured at that point it was easier to ask for forgiveness [afterward]. It’s my bachelor party, we were going to have a good time. And we went, we had a good time.”

Lopez was caught in an incriminating poolside shot with another woman. “We’re partying, and somebody took a picture,” he explained. Landry’s sister eventually got a hold of that photo and shared it with her.

“I was wrong for obviously lying, and I shouldn’t have been in that position,” Lopez said.

Finally, Landry confronted him. “I dealt with all this drama, and then at that point just realize…I finally got the balls to say ‘Hey, listen I’m not ready for this, I’m sorry.’”

“At that point,” the star confessed, “I was not ready to settle down. I wasn’t man enough to know how to go about handling it. ”

Why did Lopez marry her in the first place, then? “I think when you go out for a few years you either take it to another level or you break up, right?” he said of Landry, whom he had been dating for six years. “There was nothing glaringly wrong on paper: I thought, ‘She’s beautiful, she’s a good girl, she comes from a great family, she’d make a great mom…I confused cold feet with not being ready.”

Lopez in now dating Courtney Mazza. The two have been together over two years and have a daughter named Gia. Mario claims that he is happy in his current relationship.

When Ellen asked Jennifer about having her engagement ring picked out, she answered, “I actually have three because I feel like I’m doing the guy a favor. I feel women are very confusing. We never know what we want and we’re not very good at nailing that down for them. And I feel like I don’t want to be upset if he picks a bad ring, so I feel like having three picked out and saying, “Look! Look at this plethora of things you can chose from!”

What happens if boyfriend Alex does bring up marriage? “I’m like, “You know what’s so weird. There is this store and there are three rings in it. And if you chose one of these three, I’m going to be really excited. And if you go off on your own, we can have an awful, awkward moment. So why would you want to do that?”

I know all baby’s are a bit freaky looking when they’re first born, but there’s something about this picture that creeps me out! That baby looks a little bit like the “real” babies they sell in those ads that come in the coupon section.

“She’s constantly changing,” new dad Mario Lopez tells OK! of his infant daughter, Gia. “But she’s got these slight dimples.” Mario opened up about become a dad for the first time in the new issue of OK! – on sale everywhere now! – and shared pictures of his little girl with girlfriend Courtney Mazza. “I’m still in that shocked, euphoric stage,” Mario explains to OK! of being a father. “Finding out the sex of the baby was the best surprise. I did a big betting pool and everyone was excited. I thought we were having a girl, and Courtney thought it was a boy.” So does he have worries about being a dad to Gia, born Sept. 11, for the first time? Not really! “I come from a big, loud Mexican Catholic family,” Mario tells OK!. “My sister also has three kids so I’m used to a bunch of babies [being] around.

Mario Lopez is so body-obsessed, he persuaded his beautiful girlfriend, Courtney Mazza, to undergo rigorous personal training and encouraged surgery to get her into even better shape.

Sources say friends of Mazza are concerned that the image-conscious “Extra” host started nudging her to perfect her already amazing looks once they got together. They met in 2008 while appearing together in the Broadway revival of “A Chorus Line” and started dating the next year when Mazza moved to Burbank, Calif. She’s expecting their baby in September.

One source told us, “Mario is obsessed with his image. He spends a lot of time working out, and he expects his girlfriend to do the same. Even his new book is called ‘Extra Lean.’ Courtney was engaged to a guy in Queens before she met Mario, but once they got together she dropped everything to go to California and be with him.”

“He encouraged her to work out with a trainer every day. She underwent a boob job and liposuction last spring. Once her body was perfect, he arranged for them to be photographed on a beach.”

Lopez has previously described his obsession with fitness and once told TV Guide, “I never feel awake unless I’m sweating.” He told the magazine he exercises for at least an hour a day, runs, bikes, swims, plays basketball and throws punches three times a week at a boxing gym.

But he says he’s overjoyed at the prospect of becoming a dad, recently telling Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, “I am so excited, dude, I’m fired up! I’m like a little kid waiting for Christmas!”

Asked about Mazza’s exercise regimen and surgical procedures, a rep for Lopez said, “This is silly. Mario and Courtney are very much in love and focusing on the birth of their first child.”

Mario Lopez and his actress girlfriend, Courtney Mazza, just announced their pregnancy last week, but the Extra host is already fretting over baby names.

“I don’t know what to do about the name thing,” Lopez, 36, told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Monday.

“I like names that mean something. I don’t want to get too creative.”

Lopez and Mazza, 28, have decided not to find out whether the baby is a boy or girl, though of course that just makes the naming process that much harder. And their family trees don’t offer much help either.

“I always tease her because she’s 100 percent Italian, and I thought she would have some exotic name like Isabella or Francesca. And it’s Courtney,” jokes Lopez. “That’s what you get when you’re born in the ’80s.”

Despite the challenges of picking a name, the America’s Best Dance Crew host is otherwise thrilled at the prospect of fatherhood.

“I am so excited. I’m fired up. I’m like a little kid waiting for Christmas,” he says. “I feel like such a kid myself still. I was like, ‘Whoa! Does this mean I have to grow up?’”
