Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood are engaged, a source confirms to People.

The shock-rocker reportedly proposed to the True Blood actress while he was performing on stage in Paris on Monday, according to reports. Rumors have been swirling for days about the famously on-again, off-again couple’s engagement.

Reps for both Manson and Wood have remained mum on the subject.

Manson, 41, began dating Wood, 22, in 2006 but the couple broke up in 2008. They briefly reconciled, then split again before getting back together.

Last year, Manson revealed that he was so devastated over his breakup with Wood that he obsessed about the actress and called her incessantly. After they worked things out, Manson was quoted by the Herald Sun as saying that Wood has helped him be a better person.

“Me being me at my best is what I need to be,” he said at the time. “That really paid off because I’m back with Evan.”

Wood, for her part, described Mason to Elle magazine in 2007 as a “lovely, really human and just amazing. It may surprise you just how healthy and loving our relationship is.”

Manson was previously married to burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese.

Marilyn Manson’s concert promoters Live Nation have announced that despite the rocker revealing he ‘Had swine flu’, he actually hasn’t.

As reported last, week Manson wrote on his Facebook that he had been ‘Officially diagnosed’ with the virus.

“So I have officially been diagnosed, by a real doctor, with THE SWINE FLU.” Manson wrote.

“I know everyone will suggest that f**king a pig is how this disease was obtained. However, the doctor said, my past choices in women have, in ‘no way’ contributed to… me acquiring this mysterious sickness. Unfortunately, I am going to survive. M.”

However, now promoters for Manson’s Canadian tour have denied the rocker has contracted the illness.

“The Gillett Entertainment Group and Live Nation confirmed today that contrary to rumours circulating, Marilyn Manson is not suffering from swine flu.” The statement said.

Manson’s online posts which said he had the virus have now been removed.

The shock-rocker recently took to his MySpace blog to bash journalists who take issue with him, his band or his music.

“If one more ‘journalist’ makes a cavalier statement about me and my band, I will personally or with my fans’ help, greet them at their home and discover just how much they believe in their freedom of speech,” Manson warns. “I dare you all to write one more thing that you won’t say to my face. Because I will make you say it. In that manner. That is a threat.”

Manson’s edict is in response to an interview Buddyhead.com founder Travis Keller did with LA Weekly where he suggested that Manson is a paranoid cocaine addict who is nothing like his onstage goth persona.

Back in 1998, Manson, whom we couldn’t reach, was accused of inviting Spin executive editor Craig Marks backstage to a concert and then assaulting him, but Marks later dropped the charges.
