Go ahead: call Nick Cannon “Mr. Carey” — he doesn’t mind.

“It doesn’t bother me at all,” Mariah Carey’s husband told UsMagazine.com at Monday’s NBC/Bravo Summer Press Day in L.A.

Cannon isn’t offended by jokes about being married to the superstar singer — arguably more famous than he. “I love [the jokes], I welcome it. It’s fun…You take it with a grain of salt,” he told Us.

The star added that he knew what he was signing up for when he surprisingly wed Carey after a whirlwind romance in spring 2008. “She is, to me, the most famous woman in the world. I knew [my life] was going to change, and I was up for it. Considering everything, I was like, ‘hey, it doesn’t matter.”

As previously reported, Canon, 29, and Carey, 40, will once again renew their wedding vows this weekend (their second wedding anniversary is Friday). “This time it will be more traditional,” he told Us. “The last two weddings we had were kind of island-driven and off in remote places. This time we’re going to do it home.”

The couple plan on throwing a similar shindig each and every year, he says. “I have to do it every single year…if you were married to Mariah Carey, you’d want to marry her every year too! I just have to keep doing it to make sure it’s real.”

As for the latest baby rumor (debunked by Carey’s rep over the weekend), he quipped, “I might just have to hurry up and do it so the rumors can go away…her schedule is starting to calm down, you never know. In the next year or two the rumors might come true.”

And despite the “diva” label that follows his wife around, he says she’s a happy homemaker. “She is a great cook,” he raved. “And she is also a neat freak, so she likes to clean.”

Mariah Carey wants to work with Woody Allen.

The singer-and-actress, whose recent performance as a social worker Mrs. Weiss in ‘Precious: Based on the novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire’ received widespread critical acclaim, admits she is a big fan of the director.

She said: “I’ve never met him, but ‘Bullets Over Broadway’ is one of my favourite movies ever. I can quote every word. I think it’s amazing.”

Mariah, whose best-known acting role was previously in the poorly-received movie ‘Glitter’, claims she is now more apprehensive about what she chooses to work on.

She told E! Online: “I’m going to try to be careful about what I do. You’ve got to work with people who bring you to another level and you have to surround yourself with people you can fully give yourself too.”

Mariah won the Best Supporting Actress at the Capri Awards last year, as well as Breakthrough Performance prize at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.

Mariah Carey said via Twitter Thursday that her remix album “Angels Advocate” will come out March 30, pushed back from February 23.

Carey released two songs this week off the set: a duet of “Angel Cry” with Ne-Yo and “Up Out of My Face” featuring Nicki Minaj. Videos for both songs, directed by Carey and husband, Nick Cannon, hit the web Thursday.

Carey now goes up against Usher, who is set to release his new Jive Records album, “Raymond Vs. Raymond,” on the same date. “Angels Advocate” is her 13th studio album and will feature new remixes and duets of songs from her 2009 under-achiever, “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.”

Carey is currently on her “Angels Advocate” tour, which is set to wrap up on February 27 at the Pearl Concert Theater in Las Vegas.

“We absolutely plan to have a family,” Nick Cannon, 29, told MTV News of his wife of nearly two years, Mariah Carey, 40.

“But we gotta prioritize, because that’s a major, major priority,” continued Cannon, who currently hosts America’s Got Talent.

“That’s like the only priority in life, when you think about it, is starting and raising a family,” he added. “We wanna make sure everything is out of the way and that we don’t have any distractions.”

Getting pregnant may have to wait until Carey is done touring to promote her newest album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, Cannon said.

“She’s on tour right now, I’m doing a bunch of stuff, so eventually we want to be able to say, ‘It’s time to have a kid,’ and set everything up,” Cannon said.

“But we’re definitely moving toward [having children]. We got our house in L.A., and we got a house [in New York], established and close to schools,” he went on. “So we take all of that stuff into consideration.”

Mariah Carey stunned husband Nick Cannon by calling his radio show and pretending to be a woman who loves pornography.

The singer, who introduced herself as Debbie from Long Island, declared she was a fan of adult films, before listing their benefits during the prank phone call to the New York show Rollin With Nick Cannon on 92.3 NOW FM.

She said, “Me and my husband have a very good time when we watch porn and I don’t think it’s bad. I think if it was bad it wouldn’t exist! And I think that everyone should experiment with porn! I mean Nick, come on, you know you look at porn! Tonight when me and my husband look at porn, I already know it’s gonna be a humdinger!”

Cannon soon caught on and quickly announced, “Ladies and gentleman, this is how hilarious my wife is. This is Mariah Carey calling the station talking about porn!”

Carey joked, “I don’t even know what you’re talking about! All I’m saying is stop talking bad about porn!”

Mariah Carey – who came under fire for a recent tipsy awards show speech – made sure she didn’t go overboard with the bubbly at Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards.

“I had like two sips!” she told UsMagazine.com at the show.

She told Us her sloshy acceptance speech at the Palm Springs International Film Festival earlier this month was blown out of proportion.

“Whatever, that was so not a big deal,” said the singer, 40, who recently announced plans to release her own line of bubbly. “Everyone needs to remember the last time they had champagne!”

Carey – who was spotted giving actress Helen Mirren a double kiss on the cheek at the Globes – said the highlight of her night was seeing Precious costar Mo’Nique win for best supporting actress in a drama.

“She is real, and so am I!” Carey told Us.

She said she also liked her low-cut Herve Leger by Max Azria gown.

“I just like the way it fit and the beading,” Carey said when asked how she settled on the frock. “I thought it was pretty cool. Now I’m like stepping on it!”

She said the dress was better than one she recently wore.

“I couldn’t walk up the stairs because it was too tight on my knees,” she told Us. “You’ve got to have stretchy fabric!”
