She won’t confirm the pregnancy rumors because she says she’s “superstitious”! “I appreciate everyone’s well wishes. But I am very superstitious,” she wrote on her website Wednesday. “When the time is right, everyone will know–even Cindi Berger [her publicist].”

RadarOnline reported yesterday that she is four months pregnant with her first child.

Adding fuel to the fire, she stepped out in San Paulo in a maternity dress.

According to RadarOnline, Mariah Carey is four months pregnant! The couple are said to be thrilled, and not ready to talk about the pregnancy publicly. Nick Cannon, Mariah’s husband has reportedly been telling friends privately, but publicly he’s been pretty tight lipped.

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it time and time again — when my wife feels like talking about whatever she wants to talk about, you will hear it directly from her,” he said on his radio show on New York’s 92.3 FM.

It was Mariah’s performance in Brazil over the weekend that sparked the latest rumors. (Go here to see the picture, she definitely looks pregnant!) Mariah’s been trying to get pregnant for some time, so the couple are ecstatic about the news.

According to a lawsuit filed by Mariah Carey’s veterinarian, MC racked up a tab of $38,000 for puppy care and didn’t pay the bill!

Dr. Cindy Bressler filed a lawsuit in Manhattan today, and she claims she provided “extraordinary services” for three of Mariah’s Jack Russell terriers, Cha-Cha, Dolomite and JJ. Out of the $38,000, the vet claims she’s only seen $8,000.

The vet was hired to groom and feed the dogs while Mariah was filming Precious in LA. If she’s getting paid $38,000 to feed and groom 3 dogs, then I am in the wrong business!

Mariah’s rep says the singer’s legal team is unaware of the lawsuit.

RadarOnline is breaking the news that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are indeed pregnant with their first baby.

40-year-old Mariah dropped out of her latest movie, Tyler Perry’s For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf at the urging of her doctor. (The name of the movie is enuf enough of a reason to drop the movie!) It was widely reported that her doctor thought it would be best for her, and her unborn baby, if Mariah Carey kept it easy during her pregnancy.

Radar’s insider says, “They’re both very excited and very happy.”

When Mimi’s longtime manager Cindi Berger was contacted, she gave a very vague response. “I’m not at liberty to discuss Mariah’s personal life at this time.” Sounds like a “I can neither confirm or deny” response, and we all know what that means!

It’s not surprising that Mariah and Nick want to keep the news to themselves. Pregnancy in women over 35 is generally considered high risk.

Further fueling pregnancy rumors, it was just announced that Mariah Carey dropped out of Tyler Perry’s latest movie.

She was set to begin filming next month on the adaptation of Ntozake Shange’s 1975 play For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf.

“She is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to,” her rep tells UsMagazine.com. “More than that I cannot comment further.”

A baby would be a welcome treat for the singer, 41, who surprised fans by wedding Nick Cannon two years ago.

Earlier this month, 29-year-old Cannon — who recently renewed his vows with Carey — hinted to Us that a little one might be on the way.

“Her schedule is starting to calm down, you never know…” he coyly told Us. “In the next year or two, the rumors might come true.”

In January, he told MTV News: “We absolutely plan to have a family. But we gotta prioritize, because that’s a major, major priority. That’s like the only priority in life, when you think about it: starting and raising a family… We wanna make sure everything is out of the way and that we don’t have any distractions.”
