Mandy Moore has opened up to In Touch about being a newlywed. “I’m excited, life is good,” the singer, who recently wed rocker Ryan Adams in a small ceremony outside of Savannah, Ga., gushed to In Touch on March 26. “I’m very lucky and very happy.” When asked what she hopes the next few years will bring for the couple, Mandy replied, “Happiness and health … I don’t know if you can really ask for more than that!”

Forget the trappings of show business. All Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams needed for the perfect wedding were a tiny old brick church, a pastor they just met, a pair of silver bands and each other.
“She was thrilled to be getting married. She was giddy but not in a childish way. She was obviously so happy,” Pastor Steve Schulte, who married the couple this week at Whitefield Chapel at Bethesda Home for Boys on the outskirts of Savannah, Ga., tells PEOPLE exclusively.
The couple, who just got engaged last month, arranged for a last-minute ceremony, with one of their reps calling Schulte just the day before, saying a judge wasn’t available and asking if the pastor could officiate. “I thought it was either somebody famous or somebody really bad,” says Schulte, who agreed to the job, bringing along only a friend, wedding planner Chad Baker – and that was because they had another wedding event later in the day. Mandy Moore and rocker Ryan Adams have wed, his rep Steve Martin confirms to Usmagazine.com. They tied the knot Tuesday in Savannah, Georgia, adds both their reps.
The secret wedding should come as no surprise. After confirming her engagement to Adams in February, Moore said she wanted the wedding to be “less … of a big deal.”
“Hopefully, it can happen and slip by unnoticed by everybody,” said the singer, 24, who has dated Adams, 32, off-and-on since March 2008. “I guess we have to be sort of sneaky about it, but I’ll see what I can accomplish.”
She added that she has never been “that kind of girl” who obsesses over her wedding day and added that she hadn’t even thought about a dress. “I kind of feel like, because I’ve been able to get married in a few films, I kind of got the whole giant wedding fuss out of my system,” Moore said.

Mandy Moore and alt-rocker Ryan Adams are engaged, Moore’s rep, Jillian Fowkes, confirms to E! News.
The musically inclined duo first began dating quietly in December 2007 but weren’t discovered until March. In July, Adams released a statement regarding their breakup, blaming the spotlight surrounding the 24-year-old starlet.
Shortly thereafter, Moore flew to the side of ex-fling DJ AM following his tragic plane crash. They reunited briefly, but the flame had fizzled by the end of December.
The first buzz of her reunion with Adams came just last week, when he posted a photo of them together on his blog. The picture, taken during Sundance, has since been removed.
The multihyphenate has dated her fair share of fine famous fellas, including Wilmer Valderrama, Andy Roddick and Zach Braff. Her next album, Amanda Leigh, is set for release in May.

Mandy Moore, 24, and Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein — who rekindled their romance after she rushed to his side following a Sept. 19 plane crash that killed four and left AM in a burn unit — have called it quits.
“They split up a couple of weeks ago but kept it kind of quiet,” an insider tells Life & Style. “They tried to make it work but decided they make better friends than lovers.”
AM, 35, hasn’t wasted time getting back on the dating scene. He’s already seeing American Apparel model Hayley Wood, 22. “She’s young and super cool,” says the insider. “AM says Mandy’s very happy for him.”
