On Britney’s Lack of Underwear:

Letterman: “Now, I see these pictures on the Internet of some of your top stars of the day without their underpants.”

Madonna: “Oh God.”

Letterman: “You know what I’m talking about?”

Madonna: “I’ve been hearing these stories. It’s dreadful.”

Letterman: “It’s just remarkable.”

Madonna: “I love underpants.”

Letterman: “Yeah, who doesn’t?” “I remember one night right here a long, long time ago”

Madonna: “I brought you a pair of my underpants.”

Letterman: “ – you gave me a pair of underpants. And I still have them, yes I do.”

Madonna: “Maybe you could send them to Britney. Honestly, I live in England and so, I get – I’m pretty cut off from a lot of these stories. I only read stuff about, or hear stuff about the Royal Family. And so I’ve come to New York and the first thing I hear is about everyone not wearing their underpants. What’s going on? It’s freezing outside!”

Letterman: “Yeah, but it’s interesting.”

Nice nips Madonna…

MADONNA and her film-maker husband GUY RITCHIE are planning to start searching for a child to adopt in October (06), once the pop superstar finishes her Confessions world tour. The Material girl - who already has two children, Lourdes, nine, and Rocco, five – wants more kids so the couple have hired the adoption lawyer who worked for their friends BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE. The 47-year-old singer and Ritchie have also talked to adoption agencies in both the US and the UK. An insider tells British newspaper The Sun, “Madonna and Guy are serious about adopting a baby. They had a meeting with a British adoption agency but were not satisfied that it was the right one. “So they found another agency in America and had a meeting with them about becoming parents to an orphaned baby. “They both love children and are desperate to expand their family.” Earlier this week (begs17JUL06), Ritchie’s father JOHN RITCHIE said, “I love my grandchildren, and of course nothing would make me happier than if they do adopt. “How lovely to have another one, it sounds like such great, great fun. “I’m sure both Rocco and Lourdes would love it as they are so close and another sibling would be super.”

She has adorable kids!

Madonna has reportedly dropped her friendship with Britney Spears after the pregnant singer announced that she was quitting Kabbalah study. “Madonna has spent months teaching Britney the Kabbalah system, and splashed out thousands on the ancient scripture for her,” a source told a British magazine. “She feels she has wasted time, money, and precious gifts on Brit.”

The Material Girl has even requested the return of the 12th century Kabbalah book she presented to Britney as a wedding gift. Britney posted an announcement on her website last month that said, “I no longer study Kabbalah, my baby is my religion.”
