Madonna’s publicist has denied reports relating to her new album title and release date.
Internet reports yesterday said that according to Sirius Satellite Radio, the singer’s eleventh album will be called ‘Licorice’ and that it will be released in April
But in an email to Reuters today, Madonna’s publicist Liz Rosenberg said “Sirius does not know what they are talking about, “Wrong title. Release date wrong etc.”
The album will be her last release under her current Warner Brothers contract and features collaborations with Kanye West and Pharrell.

Madonna has been left reeling after the uncle of the girl she wants to adopt said he was totally against letting her leave Malawi.
The popstar, who has already adopted one child from the African country, wants to take the 20-month-old girl after finding her in a Malawian orphanage.
But the girl’s Uncle, John Ngalande says he expects to eventually take custody of the child after her mother died and her father, a schoolboy at the time of birth, has taken little part in her life.
He tells The People, “I would rather we be poor and struggling with Mercy, than for her to go and live with a big white star far away.
“We were told when Mercy went into the orphanage that we would be in constant contact with her and that she would come back to us after six years. I would like to stick to that.
“Whether it be Madonna or any other white person, I’m against our child being taken away.”
A source adds the news has come as a blow to Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie.
“It is a very stressful time for Madonna and Guy,” they say. “As far as they are concerned they are offering two parent-less children the chance of a happy, loving home and a better future. Yet they are facing problems at every turn.”

Blondie singer Debbie Harry has accused Madonna of stealing her look when she rose to fame in the 1980s.
Harry was an up-and-coming musician when Madonna became a pop sensation with her self-titled debut album in 1982, and is convinced the Like A Virgin singer got the idea for her platinum blonde hairdo from the now-62-year-old star.
She says, “I came right up against the Madonna thing. Maybe it’s my paranoia but she had a lot of my looks. If you look closely, sometimes there’s pictures of her and me that completely overlap.
“She (Madonna) was getting such a huge push from Warner (Bros.), I was definitely on the B-list. It was a hard period for me. I don’t think anybody knew how to market me or what to do with me. I was like a fish out of water.”

Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie rang in the Jewish new year with Israeli President Shimon Peres and declared herself an “ambassador for Judaism,” local newspapers reported Sunday.
The singer arrived in Israel on Wednesday, the eve of Jewish new year, to attend a conference on Kabbalah, a form of Jewish mysticism.
The 49-year-old Material Girl met Peres at his Jerusalem residence on Saturday evening and the two exchanged gifts. Peres gifted Madonna with a lavishly bound copy of the Jewish Bible.
She gave Peres a volume of The Book of Splendor, the guiding text of Kabbalah, inscribed “To Shimon Peres, the man I admire and love, Madonna,” the Yediot Ahronot daily reported.
“You don’t know how popular the Book of Splendor is among Hollywood actors,” Madonna told Peres, according to the Yediot. “Everyone I meet talks to me only about that. I am an ambassador for Judaism.”
Other celebrities who flew in for the Kabbalah conference included Demi Moore and husband Ashton Kutcher, Rosie O’Donnell and designer Donna Karan.

Celebrating his 39th birthday at London’s fashionable Claridges restaurant, the singer chose to whip out from under the table a surprise present for her hubby of 7 years. Nothing says happy birthday like a “Purple Penetrator Strap On”!
Maybe it’s a joke? Maybe not…hmm, I guess we’ll never know!

This time Madonna might adopt a little girl, from Malawi, just like her first adopted son, David. If everything goes smoothly, the little girl might be home by April.
“Mercy is a beautiful baby girl. She’s so joyful and happy and giggles every time she’s picked up. Madonna just loves the way she claps her hands and laughs constantly. She has huge dancing eyes. Madonna calls her her smiling angel.”
Also reports are saying that Madonna originally wanted to name her “Grace” but the family rejected the name, but approved Mercy.
