Lost Fans: There was a hidden message in last week’s brainwash scene!

You could just tell as you were watching it - that there had to be more to what we were seeing. And the folks over at SciFi2U have figured it out!! In the video below, you can hear a woman saying “Only fools are enslaved by time and space.” So what exactly does that mean anyway!

How freakin cool is THAT! I love these little juicy tidbits… Here is the same video played normally. You can hear the voice, but it’s much quieter - because all the other noise is not being drowned out this time.

Here’s a little more info I found on last week’s episode:

The Tail Section determined that Aldo, the guard outside the facility, was reading a chapter of Stephen Hawking’s A Brief History of Time that discusses black holes, time, and space. You can see closeups of the pages at TTS. It’s almost like they used that book on purpose or something! Who knew Lost could be tricky?

What does it all mean? Is this just another red herring designed to drive us crazy over the space-time continuum theory, like when Hurley suggested to Sayid that the FM radio transmission was from “another time”? Maybe.

Either way - I cannot WAIT for Wednesday’s episode!!

Don’t be confused…

I just got an email from Erin and she was all upset about LOST being a re-cap tomorrow night.  We’ve been not-so-patiently waiting for LOST to return, and after a long hiatus it IS coming back tomorrow night

Don’t forget…LOST moved to 10:00PM.  There will be a re-cap episode at 9:00, and then a new episode at 10:00PM!  I can’t wait!!

‘Lost’ Planning End Date

lost.jpg

In a highly unusual move for a broadcast series, ABC and the producers of “Lost” are in discussions to determine an end date for the show.

The date will set a limit to the number of “Lost” seasons to come and will be announced to fans. The show’s producers, speaking at ABC’s Television Critics Association press tour session, said having a conclusion date will bolster fan confidence in the series’ narrative. A timeline for making the decision was not announced.

“It’s time for us now to find an endpoint for the show,” said executive producer Carlton Cuse. “JK Rowling announced there were seven books in the Harry Potter series and it gives fans [a framework for understanding the arc of the show]. ‘The X-Files’ was a cautionary tale for us. It was a great show that ran two seasons too long. ‘Lost’ has a short-half life.”

“None of us want to be doing the stalling show,” added executive producer Damon Lindelof. “We don’t want them to be building sandcastles next week.”

Though the series ratings have dipped this fall, the show remains one of ABC’s top-rated programs. During the first season, Mr. Lindelof said the show could run nine seasons if necessary, noting the island has plenty of mysteries. Recently, fans and critics have grown frustrated, however, with the show’s continually expanding mythology that keeps piling on new mysteries and characters.

After the panel, Mr. Lindelof suggested the series might cap at 100 episodes, which would only result in two more seasons. But ABC Entertainment President Steve McPherson sought to downplay the producers’ statements, noting that “we’ve had those discussions for the past two years.”

Earlier while on stage, Mr. McPherson said he agreed with critic complaints that the first six episodes this season pulled the story too far from the group dynamics that made the show popular.

“[The writers] made a clear choice that first installment would be about Jack, Kate, Sawyer and The Others,” he said. “For me, the show I really invest in is having everybody together. I thought it was a riveting six episodes, but I like it when they’re all together and they’re heading toward that again after the break.”

Though Mr. McPherson stood by his decision to schedule a four-month break in the “Lost” schedule this season, he reiterated his plan (first reported last month in TelevisionWeek) to try and run next season’s episodes without a break or repeats, launching either in the fall or spring.

`Lost’ Star de Ravin & Husband Separate

Emilie de Ravin, who plays Claire Littleton on ABC’s “Lost,” has separated from her husband after six months of marriage, her spokesman said Wednesday.

The 25-year-old Australian actress and actor Josh Janowicz, also 25, were married in Melbourne in June, publicist Jeff Raymond said. It was the first marriage for both. They have no children.

Besides “Lost,” de Ravin’s credits include the horror film “The Hills Have Eyes” and TV’s “Roswell.” Janowicz appeared on TV’s “Cold Case” and was the “hot priest” in the 2003 movie “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.”

Evangeline Lilly hints at wanting to quit Lost.

evangeline-lilly-esquire01.jpg

Evangeline Lilly has hinted she will quit ‘Lost’ unless the show’s fans stop hassling her.

The actress is growing weary of the constant attention she receives from followers of the program and admits she sometimes considers walking away from her role as sexy fugitive Kate in the hit series.

Lilly, who is dating her ‘Lost’ co-star Dominic Monaghan, said: “I am an incredibly private person, and it’s so exhausting to me that everywhere I go people know me or think they know me. If I could act and make the income I make and be anonymous, I would never want to leave the job.”

This is not the first time Lilly has complained about her fame.

She previously admitted she would like to go on holiday to a remote island where no one would recognise her because she is so sick of being hounded by fans and the media wherever she goes.

She said: “I want to go somewhere like Mongolia or Timbuktu. Someplace where they don’t watch ‘Lost’!”
