Lily Allen played in L.A. last night, and covered Britney Spears‘ Womanizer. At about 3:30, Lindsay Lohan hops onstage with Lily. What for? Not exactly sure. DListed says it was a drug deal, which had me laughing long time.
Lindsay Lohan spent Wednesday inside a Chateau Marmont penthouse suite — without her girlfriend Samantha Ronson. But while the duo has been recently dogged by breakup rumors and reports of fighting, Lohan warns the gossiprati not to jump to any hasty conclusions.
“Those rumors aren’t true,” Lohan told E! News exclusively from her hotel suite where she was doing promotional work for her new self-tanning mist Sevin Nyne. “We aren’t broken up.”
Hanging out with LiLo in her West Hollywood hotel room with Lohan was her sister Ali and mom Dina, who flew in from New York earlier this week to spend time with Lindsay, who has ust wrapped a two-day photo-shoot for Italian clothing line Fornarina. Also chilling with Lohan at the Chateau was good friend Natalie Portman, who swung by to check out Lindsay’s chemical-free tanner.
So, then, where was her gal pal Samantha? We’re told the DJ, who returned from a gig in Florida on Tuesday, was hanging out on Wednesday with her sister, designer Charlotte Ronson, who also is visiting LA for a work trip. “They’ve been spending time with their families and working,” says a source. “It’s normal and healthy to do that. That doesn’t mean they broke up!”
Lindsay Lohan got some reel bad news this week: Her new movie, Labor Pains, is headed straight to cable.
The film’s production company, Nu Image/Millennium Films, has confirmed that the comedy will premiere on ABC Family in July 2009. It will be released on DVD a month later.
In the film — which wrapped last August — Lohan plays a woman who fakes being pregnant to save herself from being fired. She must then keep the lie going for nine months.
It is the latest film dud for the star, whose last movie efforts include the critically-panned indie Chapter 27 and I Know Who Killed Me. She briefly appeared on ABC’s Ugly Betty.
This week, the much-scrutinized star, 22, complained, “If people would just leave my personal life alone – because it’s really not that interesting – then I could land a great role. But all the sicko fans and the noise is so distracting.”
“I’d like to have my own charity, do work overseas, be in Oscar-nominated films, write movies, produce movies/shows/videos, design cloths, make music, write books,” she said. “It’s all possible if people would just stop judging me and accusing me and making me out to be this aloof, spoiled, ungrateful and unprofessional person that I am not and could never be.”
Last week Lindsay told Nylon magazine she had called Seth Rogen regarding a film project and that he wasn’t returning her calls, but he says nope!
He said, “That is not … That’s the first I had heard of that. And my assistant hadn’t heard it either. I can tell you that she hasn’t called me. If she has, I haven’t heard about it. [But] I would call her back, sure! I’d return a call.”

Looks like Lindsay Lohan’s brand new $100 000 Maserati got slightly damaged on Monday. This time, however, she wasn’t even driving. Her assistant was, and rear-ended a Subaru. Though police weren’t called witnesses say she still looked upset. Yikes!

Lindsay Lohan — who hasn’t appeared in a movie since 2007′s I Know Who Killed Me — says she’s looking for a job.
“It’s scary when you realize, ‘Oh my God, I’m not working. And I have a house to pay for now.’… and there’s been some things I’ve really wanted to do,” she says in April’s Nylon.
“Like the one movie I’ve wanted to do for so long is Alice in Wonderland [directed by Tim Burton],” she continues. “But, um, that didn’t work out… it is what it is.”
The 22-year-old actress — who recently fought an arrest warrant, which was recalled — goes on: “[Producers said] ‘You’re not right for the part, and that’s it.’ That’s how I like to hear it…I can take it, I’m a big girl. Obviously, you don’t want me. I don’t want to do something that somebody doesn’t want me to be involved in anyway.”
But Lohan says she’s “talking to a lot of people right now” — or at least trying to.
“One is Sean Penn — I spoke to him the other day. We’re trying to get Seth Rogen for this project, but Seth won’t call us back. So call us back, Seth, if you’re reading this!”
In the meantime, Lohan has been keeping herself busy blogging.
“I think I just got carried away,” she says. “Like writing about my relationships…I didn’t need to do that, because we [Samantha Ronson] weren’t broken up and that was silly. And then if that happens again, they expect me to say, ‘No,’ again, you know. And I get afraid of that.”
Lohan also takes a dig at Britney Spears, who’s currently touring the country on the back of her No. 1 album, Circus.
“She’s marketed as an entertainer, which is what she is,” Lohan says. “Not necessarily as, like, an artist. And I respect that about her, cause she doesn’t want to pretend.”
I love this movie. I watch it with my kids every time it’s on the Disney Channel.
Lindsay Lohan was 12 when she shot to child stardom in The Parent Trap. But she wasn’t too young to remember who helped her rise.
“She was a wonderful woman and actress and treated me like I was her own,” the now 22-year-old starlet said of former costar Natasha Richardson, who died Wednesday from head trauma apparently suffered in a skiing accident two days before.
“I didn’t see much of her over the years but I will miss her,” Lohan added. “My heart goes out to her family. This is a tragic loss.”
Richardson played Lohan’s prim British mom in the 1998 remake of The Parent Trap who, with the help of Lohan-times-two finds love again with her ex, played by Dennis Quaid.
In life, Richardson’s survivors include her husband of 14 years, Liam Neeson, sons Michael, 13, and Daniel, 12, mother Vanessa Redgrave, sister Joely Richardson and aunt Lynn Redgrave.
