As if Lindsay Lohan’s cover shoot for the September issue of Elle magazine’s U.K. edition didn’t have enough drama!

The magazine’s editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy revealed the 23-year-old actress had Elle magazine staffers running in circles around London trying to pin her down for the issue’s photo shoot and interview.

The story follows Lohan as she was pursued by photographers and recounts a tearful confrontation with off-again, on-again girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

“Lindsay Lohan wrote me a note during this month’s cover shoot,” Candy wrote in the new issue. “It read: ‘Let’s do it again some time.’ I’ve put it on my office wall because, in all honesty, I don’t know if I could.”

She adds, “This was the most unpredictable, and confusing shoot in my magazine career.

“First, Lindsay was about to arrive. Then she was in Paris,” Candy wrote. “She was almost on set, then she disappeared into her hotel room. She was ready for her interview, then she had to have a fake tan! But we got there.”

The newly-blonde Lindsay Lohan turns up at on/off girlfriend Samantha Ronson’s house with her little sister, Ali, in tow. Lindsay Lohan has gone blonde again, but the actress doesn’t seem happy about it.

“It’s for a movie. i miss it too i was sad when i heard – i begged. Lol”, she Tweeted. Well, at least this means she found a job!

Lohan’s bright platinum locks are the result of 11 hours spent at a Beverly Hills hair salon earlier last week. She emerged from the Byron & Tracy Hair Salon at 11:30 p.m. after the grueling dye session with the blonde ‘do and extra long extensions — and a black fedora partially hiding her new look, Radar Online reports.

The noted hair chameleon has been a redhead, a brunette and a blonde in the past, but had been sporting auburn tresses close to her natural color until the new dye job.
