Lindsay Lohan has hit back at reports she is planning to have a baby with her rumored girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

The Hollywood actress was at the centre of baby rumors after a British tabloid newspaper alleged that the pair was thinking about starting a family.

The article, featured in the News of the World, suggested that Lohan and Ronson had “been having deep discussions about a baby”. But a representative for the Mean Girls star tells Access Hollywood that the story is “absolutely not true.”

Lindsay Lohan is hoping to raise a baby with girlfriend Samantha Ronson, I can exclusively reveal.

I hear the Mean Girls star will ask one of her ex- boyfriends to provide the necessary, erm, male input.

Last month, I revealed how Lindsay and Sam were planning to “wed”. Later this year they want to publicly come out and declare their love for each other in a lavish LA bash. Having a child seems like a natural next step for the duo, who admit they are “smitten”.

A source close to the couple told me: “Lindsay is in a very happy place at the moment. She’s been having deep discussions about a baby. She wants a natural birth and has spoken to Sam about getting one of her ex-boyfriends to help out. They don’t want to adopt.”

Lindsay, pictured above in her new movie Labor Pains, was in rehab for drug and alcohol addiction and hopes that having a child will help her recovery.

As for potential fathers, Li-Lo is spoilt for choice. She’s dated a string of hot blokes, including Jared Leto, Calum Best, and Jude Law.

Lindsay Lohan has turned down a reported $700,000 offer to pose nude for Playboy magazine.

The Mean Girls star was recently rumored to be considering a topless spread in the saucy magazine’s forthcoming 55th anniversary issue. But now a representative for the star has confirmed that Lohan will definitely not be appearing in the publication.

The spokesperson tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, “If there’s nudity, then the answer’s no… She’s not going down the magazine road again.”

Earlier this year, Lohan stripped off for a provocative shoot with New York Magazine - posing semi-naked in a tribute to Marilyn Monroe’s final photoshoot.

Lindsay Lohan, political blogger?

The actress, who has been regularly updating her official MySpace page, addresses the controversy surrounding the pregnancy of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s 17-year-old daughter Bristol.

“I am concerned with the fact that Sarah Palin brought the attention to her daughter’s pregnancy, rather than all world issues and what she believes she could possibly do to change them – if elected,” writes Lohan in a Tuesday posting. “I get Sarah Palin’s views against abortion, but i would much prefer to hear more about what she can do for our country rather than how her daughter is going to have a child no matter what.”

She also added: “i think that girls that are CHOOSING to be sexually active and are making a conscious decision to grow up faster….. I think that parents need to recognize how important it is to talk to their children about the things that can result from being sexually active if they aren’t protecting themselves (birth control, condoms, etc.)”

But politics wasn’t the only thing on the 22-year-old star’s mind. She also used her blog to proclaim her love for girlfriend Samantha Ronson, listing her current mood as “smitten” and signing off with “ILY” – the popular abbreviation for “I love you.”

“This song is for you sr…ILY” Lohan wrote, adding a link to the song “Trouble” by folk singer Ray LaMontagne, which contains the lyrics, “Well I’ve been saved by a woman/She won’t let me go” and “She gave me love and affection/I said I love her/Yes I love her.”

And in another show of affection for Ronson, Lohan who is currently filming Ugly Betty in New York City, made an online plea for help finding Dixie Cup ice cream: “so, samantha and i are looking for DIXIE CUPS…” she wrote. “does anyone remember them??? I have to have them before she gets back.”

Lindsay Lohan’s father is praising his children’s response to the death of his father - even though they didn’t all attend the funeral.

“My children supported me and my family in every way that they could at the time,” Michael Lohan told the Daily News on Tuesday.

Lindsay, star of 2004’s “Mean Girls,” raised eyebrows on Saturday after she was photographed shopping in the West Village with girlfriend Samantha Ronson - the same time as her grandfather’s wake in Long Island.

Lindsay was also spotted with Ronson the following night in Atlantic City, N.J., just hours after her grandfather’s funeral.

Michael wouldn’t reveal whether Lindsay, 22, attended the wake, which stretched over Friday and Saturday, or funeral, but said his son, Michael, 20, was a pallbearer.

Lindsay’s little brother Cody, 12, also attended the funeral, Michael says, but his youngest daughter, Ali, 14, was unable to make it due to “a little accident.”

Michael’s praise is a dramatic turnaround from his comments late last week, suggesting that his ex-wife, Dina Lohan, would try to keep the former couple’s children away from the funeral.

Papa Lohan later went on the offensive to paparazzi agency X-17, calling Ronson “one of the biggest problems” in his oldest daughter’s life.

Michael also suggested his daughter was unstable, and being manipulated by her girlfriend.

Lindsay fired back via a MySpace post in which she accused her father of being addicted to fame.

“If he really cared about me and my life, then he would learn to respect my wishes by staying out of it,” she wrote.

Despite Lindsay’s shopping excursion, Michael said his entire family was “amazed by the support” from all of his children. “It’s been a really tough time,” he added.

Lindsay’s publicist had no comment.

Lindsay Lohan has risked another tongue-lashing from her angry dad Michael – after choosing to spend the weekend shopping with lover Samantha Ronson over attending her granddad’s wake.

Michael unleashed a bitter tirade against DJ Sam last week, insisting she was using his daughter for her own gain – and begged Lindsay to ditch her.

The actress hit back, labelling her dad a bully.

On Thursday night, Michael’s father passed away – giving him cause to make the sad news public while simultaneously taking a pop at his ex-wife Dina.

He said: “I notified all my kids and my lawyer notified Dina’s attorney.

“Let’s see if she has the decency and respect to bring my kids to the wake and funeral. This will show her true colors!”

However Lindsay was busy perusing shops in New York City during her granddad’s wake in Long Island.

And no doubt Michael – who confirmed Lindsay’s absence to picture agency X17 – will be even more incensed when he learns who his little girl spent the day with.

Shannen Doherty has hit out at Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan - insisting they deserve to get negative press for flashing photographers without wearing underwear.

The 37-year-old star was branded a ‘bad girl’ during her stint on hit show Beverly Hills, 90210 during the height of her acting career in the 1990s.

But she insists her own outlandish behavior never matched that of Spears and Lohan - who have been snapped in a series of photographs without their underwear.

She says, “You know, you play a character; people perceive you as the character. I guess it means I did my job. But what did I do?! I went out. I was 18 years old! At 18, you’re going to sorority parties. I just did it in the public eye. I certainly wasn’t showing my crotch. Just because I was on 90210 didn’t mean that I didn’t get to have my own real life experiences. You have to live somewhat normally.”

And Doherty says she’s already made plans to settle far away from the limelight, where she hopes to start a family.

She adds: “I’m just a normal person who likes to play with my dogs and ride my horses. I dream of moving back to the South every single day of my life now. I’m actually looking at places in Mississippi and Tennessee… I definitely want a child. Or two. Not sure on the two.”
