Miley Cyrus and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth have adopted a new dog! The couple were spotted having lunch in Toluca Lake with their new black and white mutt. This makes five dogs for Cyrus and Hemsworth!

“Meet the newest addition to our family Mary Jane ” Cyrus tweeted on Saturday. (Hmm, could you tell us what the name signifies, Miles?) “I love rescuing xo”

It was only two weeks ago that Cyrus rescued another dog after it was left at a Walmart store. She scooped up the dog, and named it Happy.

The Hunger Games is making history as the 3rd best box office debut of all time for a non-summer movie bringing in in $155 million.

The movie is based on the best selling trilogy of novels by Suzanne Collins.  The all-star line up includes Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta) and Liam Hemsworth (Gale).

The widely praised epic (Us Weekly‘s Eric Andersson gave it 3.5 stars and called it “gripping, breathtaking and poignant”) trumped the debuts of heavyweight blockbusters such as 2007′s Spider-Man 3, 2009′s The Twilight Saga: New Moon and last year’s The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.

I have read all the books and loved them, but have not made it to see the movie yet.  But I will very soon!

Miley Cyrus set off a frenzy that Liam Hemsworth had popped the questions when she posted the picture above showing off her “manicure” and wearing what appears to be a large diamond ring on her left ring finger.

I am soooo obsessed with @jennahipp nail foundations! It looks so chic and classic!

This morning Miley tweeted the following referencing her “boyfriend” leading many to believe there was no proposal:

@teammileyny I’m sitting here with 3 dogs who love me unconditionally, a beautiful boyfriend, an amazing family, & 5.2m lovely followers

Engaged, not engaged she obviously got the attention she wanted. You have to know people will start asking when you post a picture wearing a large diamond ring.

Liam Hemsworth flashed his pearly whites as he stopped by Good Morning America to chat about ‘The Hunger Games’. Those Hemsworths are a good looking lot.

The ticket sales for this movie have been through the roof already and it doesn’t open until Friday!  (Well, Thursday just after midnight!)  They’re predicting it will go over $100 million for opening weekend.  I’m so happy that reviews are overwhelmingly positive, too!

Last night was the world premiere of ‘The Hunger Games’ in Los Angeles. All of the film’s major stars were there, including Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.

Jennifer wore a gold Prabal Gurung Fall 2012 gown, and I’m not sure how I feel about it. I don’t really like the material, the cut, or the styling. What do you think?

PS: The critic reviews of ‘Hunger Games’ are rolling in this morning, and for the most part they’re very positive! I can’t wait to see it!

Liam Hemsworth is Details’ March cover boy. The actor is promoting his upcoming role in ‘The Hunger Games’ movie. The 22-year-old has also known for dating Miley Cyrus on-and-off for a two and a half years, whom he talks about in the interview below. He defends her weed comment (at her 19th birthday party) and is totally cute in doing so.

On Dating Miley Cyrus: When Liam and Miley hooked up on [The Last Song] set, he was 19, she was 16–a fact he doesn’t shy away from. “What happened happened, and we’ve been together two and a half years. She makes me really happy. When you start, you want to be professional, but when you’re filming those scenes with someone and pretending to love them, you’re not human if you don’t feel something.” When the film wrapped, he went home with her to Nashville, where he was introduced to the joys of Cracker Barrel and Miley’s dad, Billy Ray. “He’s very spiritual. He’s just one of the nicest guys. Very accommodating. I’ve listened to his music since we got together. It’s awesome.” And so is Cracker Barrel. “I’d never heard of country-fried steak before. It’s great! I love fried food.”

On Miley’s Weed Scandal: Liam was there at her 19th-birthday party, which exploded in the tabloids after she joked about her Bob Marley cake and how she “smokes way too much f&*#ing weed” on video. For the first time, Liam is angry. “She’s in a room full of her best friends,” he says, almost breaking a sweat. “And you have one person who comes in there and videos it. The poor girl can’t have one night where she can feel safe in her own world. It’s ridiculous.”

On The Twilight Effect: “I’ve never met [Robert] Pattinson,” Liam says, remarking on the young Hollywood idol in whose footsteps he seems destined to follow. The path is fraught. Sure, there’s the ability to cherry-pick roles and use your name to get a passion project off the ground. But there are also the endless intrusions and the risk of being labeled for life. Liam doesn’t want to talk about the Twilight effect–that The Hunger Games might similarly explode his life and career–or think that he could gain insight from those who’ve come before him. “What do you say to someone? ‘Your life’s gonna change.’ Okay. Thanks. Cool. It is what it is. Whatever. If it happens, there’s nothing you can do.”

On His Hunger Games Role: Liam stars as Gale, a brooding man-child suffering a serious case of heartache when his girl, Katniss, is shipped off to compete in the killer Olympics. It’s Liam–not Jennifer Lawrence–who is this film’s ingenue, a pretty young thing watching the hero do battle. It’s hard to say how much pressure comes with fronting a franchise, especially when it could transform the guy who’s Thor‘s brother and who walks Miley’s dog into Hollywood’s hottest young star. While Liam downplays such expectations, he concedes that he and his Hunger Games character share a certain helplessness. “Gale is someone who wants to stand up to this thing but can’t. He’s pretty powerless.”

I liked the interview. I think he comes off as totally likable. I can’t wait to see ‘Hunger Games’ when it hits theaters on March 23.
