Levi Johnston doesn’t regret posing for Playgirl – or even turning Bristol Palin into a teen mom. But what he does regret? It’s his apology to Sarah Palin!

“I don’t really regret anything,” Johnston, 20, says in a CBS Early Show interview broadcast Friday morning. “But the only thing I wish I wouldn’t have done is to put out that apology [to Palin and the Palin family].”

“‘Cause it kind of makes me sound like a liar. And I’ve never lied about anything. So that’s probably the only thing. The rest of the stuff I can live with.”

So why did he apologize to Sarah in the first place? “That was something I did to make my fiancée happy,” he said. (Johnston and the former Vice Presidential candidate famously traded insults via the press following his early 2009 breakup with Brisol.)

So, he’s basically saying that he lied about lying? That doesn’t make any sense. What do you believe?

His manager confirmed a Variety report that Johnston is planning to run for city office in his hometown of Wasilla, Alaska, as part of a reality TV show rumored to be called ‘Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor’s Office.’ Johnston plans to run for either for mayor or City Council. “People questioned Jesus Christ, so I definitely don’t care about these mere mortals questioning Levi Johnston,” his manager said (via RadarOnline.) “People can question whatever they want. I mean, he’s going to keep on doing his thing. He was going to do this, even if this wasn’t a reality show.”

“Let me put it to you like this: If you live in a town and things are happening in that town, and you’re displeased with it, what do you do? You try to change those things,” Jones said. He declined to give specifics on what Johnston wants to change but insisted the run is real. “This is not a spoof. This is not a joke,” his manager said.

Well that was fast!

Levi Johnston, who recently called off his engagement — again — with Bristol Palin, the daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, walked the red carpet with singer Brittani Senser. Johnston said his relationship with Palin as the parents of their toddler son, Tripp, is going well despite their break-up.

“We are doing great,” said Johnston. “I talk to her every day. We keep in touch. Even though with us broken off, it is like we are together. We found a way to work with each other. Things are going good.”

Bristol Palin calls off her engagement to Levi Johnston.

“I broke up with him,” Bristol told People. She added that she has seen Levi only once in the past three weeks.

“The final straw was him flying to Hollywood for what he told me was to see some hunting show but come to find out it was that music video mocking my family,” she added. “He’s just obsessed with the limelight and I got played.”

“Through this whole experience I know I need a man who’s going to be completely honest with me and someone who loves me and Tripp and wants to be with him all the time. I also want someone who has religious beliefs and a good family.”

Just recently news was spreading the Levi could have possible fathered a child with ex Lanesia Garcia. Bristol was said to be very upset even though Lanesia denies that Levi fathered her child.

I have to say, that I think Bristol is making the right choice for her and her child. She seems like a genuine person. I hope she finds someone deserving.

The National Enquirer is reporting that Levi Johnston got ex girlfriend Lanesia Garcia pregnant. As a result of this Bristol Palin may call off their recent engagement.

However Lanesia claims the reports are totally false.

“Point blank, it’s not true at all. We haven’t hung out at all since 8th or 9th grade when we broke up. I don’t know where people are getting this. It’s not true at all. Levi is not the father of my baby.”

Garcia tells Us Johnston, now 20, was her first boyfriend. “I dated him for 2 1/2 years,” she says.

She’s baffled how the story spread that he got her pregnant.

“I mean, it’s stupid,” she tells Us. “I’m nine months pregnant. If I wanted people to think that, I would have said something like that when I first found out. I would not say something like that now that I’m getting ready to have my baby. That doesn’t make sense.”

She tells Us she knows the baby’s father, and he’s “really mad” about the tabloid report. “He’s upset that this whole thing is going on,” says Garcia. “It’s just dumb. We’re supposed to be getting ready and be excited, there’s no reason for this. Levi and I haven’t talked or hung out in years.”

Earlier this month, Johnston and Palin, 18, exclusively revealed to Us Weekly that they are engaged.

“I wanted to talk to her, but I know she won’t talk to me,” Garcia says of Palin. “I wanted to tell her straight-up that it’s not true. If I could say anything to her, I would love to tell Bristol, that it’s not true and that I’m sorry she has had to even deal with all these lies.”

I don’t think Levi got her pregnant, but I am still not convinced that Levi and Bristol are going to work out. Guess we will just have to wait and see.

Well, it’s about time! Levi Johnston attemps to apologize to Palin family and particularly Sarah Palin.

“Last year, after Bristol and I broke up, I was unhappy and a little angry. Unfortunately, against my better judgment, I publicly said things about the Palins that were not completely true,” he tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I have already privately apologized to Todd and Sarah. Since my statements were public, I owe it to the Palins to publicly apologize.”

“So to the Palin family in general and to Sarah Palin in particular, please accept my regrets and forgive my youthful indiscretion,” Johnston says in the statement. “I hope one day to restore your trust.”

Briston Palin also added her own statement and had this to say on the matter.

“Part of co-parenting is creating healthy and honest relationships between the parents. Tripp one day needs to know the truth and needs to know that even if a mistake is made the honorable thing to do is to own up to it.”

For some reason, Levi Johnston had thought it in his best interest to attack the Palin household in the past. He claimed the Palin’s often talked of divorce and that Sarah Palin complained about her job as Alaska’s Governor. He talked about his sex life on Tyra Banks and even posed for Playgirl magazine.

Briston and Levi were in a custody battle over their son Tripp, but have since resolved their issue and are working together as co-parents.

Sounds like Levi is finally maturing!

New court documents reveal a heated custody battle between Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin, who has petitioned for sole custody over their son Tripp — the grandson of former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Bristol’s early November request for sole custody was made public after a Superior Court judge ruled last week against keeping the court proceedings closed, the Associated Press reports. A temporary order had authorized the use of pseudonyms while the court was considering the request, which stated that no good “could result to the child by an onslaught of media.”

Johnston, 19, had pushed for open court proceedings.

“I feel more comfortable in a public courtroom which will help everyone stay civil and be on their best behavior,” he said in a statement.

Johnston is seeking shared custody and denies Bristol’s claims that he has avoided his parental responsibilities, according to the Associated Press.

In addition to sole custody, Bristol — who called her ex’s recent Playgirl magazine nude photo shoot “risque” — requested child support and asked that Johnston’s mother, Sherry, not be allowed unsupervised visits with their son following her drug arrest earlier this year.

“The best interests of the child compel the conclusion that Bristol should be awarded 100 percent legal and physical custody of Tripp, with visitation rights in favor of Levi,” Bristol’s attorney Thomas V. Van Flein said in the papers.

Bristol and Johnston broke off their engagement shortly after 1-year-old Tripp was born in December 2008.
