Us Weekly has the exclusive video of LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian kissing, holding hands — and even sucking on each other’s fingers during a March 7 date at Mosun and Club M in Laguna Beach, California.

Twenty-two seconds into the clip, Cibrian arrives at the restaurant and they walk in hand-in-hand. Then they’re seated — as seen in the center left of the frame — and proceed to hold hands (36 seconds) and kiss (1:47). At the 2:10 mark, Rimes suggestively sucks on Cibrian’s finger. They leave together shortly after.

Us Weekly has seen the $95 receipt for the dinner, as paid for by Cibrian on his credit card and signed by him.

The newest issue also shows photos of Cibrian and Rimes meeting up for a three-hour tryst March 14 at the Malibu Beach Inn — where the blinds were closed and a do not disturb sign was placed on the door. Cibrian was not wearing his wedding ring.

All the while, Cibrian’s pickup truck sat in the parking lot with a visible child’s car seat in the back. The actor has two sons, ages 5 and 23 months, with model wife Brandi Glanville.

While Rimes has acknowledged she and husband Dean Sheremet are going through “a difficult time,” she has not denied a relationship with Cibrian.

Yet Cibrian claims the story is false.

“It is a fabricated story that is using random snapshots as connective tissue to create a scandalous relationship,” the actor, who most recently appeared in Ugly Betty and Samantha Who?, tells Access Hollywood in a statement.

Their Lifetime movie, Northern Lights, airs March 21.

Eddie Cibrian is fighting back against a report that claims he’s having an affair with co-star LeAnn Rimes.

“It is a fabricated story that is using random snapshots as connective tissue to create a scandalous relationship,” Cibrian says in a statement first obtained by Access Hollywood.

A Rimes friend tells PEOPLE the country star, 26, and Cibrian, 35 – who is married to model Brandi Glanville and has two sons, Mason, 5, and Jake, almost 2 – are not in a relationship. “There are some feelings there but it’s too early to tell if it’s going to develop and if she’s done with her marriage,” says the pal.

While it’s unclear how the allegations will affect Rimes’s seven-year marriage to songwriter Dean Sheremet, the couple have definitely hit a rough patch, Rimes’s friend confirms.

“[LeAnn and Dean] are figuring it out,” says the friend. “They have a lot of mutual respect for one another.”

“The situation that she’s grappling with right now is not the cause for her marriage troubles,” the friend continues. “There have been issues brewing for months prior to meeting Eddie on set.”

One of those issues: getting married at such a young age (Rimes was still a teenager when she and Sheremet tied the knot). “Like any marriage, they’ve had a couple of rough patches. They’ve gone to therapy,” says the friend. “But they did marry very young and when people marry young it’s very difficult to maintain a marriage for the long haul.”

After spending the first half of March apart – Rimes has been in L.A. doing voiceovers for her Lifetime movie Nora Roberts’ Northern Lights, while Sheremet, 28, has been working as a songwriter in Nashville – the couple spent time together in Washington, D.C. on March 11 where they lobbied House and Senate members on behalf of a new bill to increase funding for psoriasis research (Rimes has suffered from the skin condition since the age of 2). Rimes and Sheremet are both currently in New York City, where she is promoting her TV movie.

Rimes met Cibrian on the set of Northern Lights, which filmed in Calgary last November and December and co-stars Rosanna Arquette. It airs on March 21.

Cibrian and Rimes play love interests – he’s a former Baltimore cop who moves to a remote Alaskan town and falls for Rimes’s character, a feisty bush pilot, when he investigates her father’s death.

“This is a difficult time for me and my loved ones, but I appreciate all your continued support,” she writes Wednesday. “I would like to assure all of you that this is a place for you to hear things directly from me and as you all know, not everything in our lives is always black and white.”

Before signing off, Rimes tells fans, “have faith.”

“From the moment we rehearsed, LeAnn and Eddie honestly developed a really strong bond and a warm relationship,” director Mike Robe told Us prior to news of the affair.

With their anniversary fast approaching, LeAnn Rimes and Dean Sheremet knew just how to scratch their “seven-year itch”: with a party – and soon, perhaps, a baby.

The country star and her husband invited 30 of their closest friends to celebrate their upcoming seventh wedding anniversary – and Rimes’s 26th birthday on Aug. 28 – at the Calistoga Ranch in California’s Napa Valley.

“We wanted to remember how blessed we are, and how excited we still are about each other,” says Rimes, who was just 19 when she wed Sheremet, now 27, on Feb. 23, 2002. (They decided to celebrate early to take advantage of the warm weather and Rimes’s birthday.)

The three-day festivities culminated with a seven-course dinner and an evening of dancing on Saturday night.

“My ankles and my feet hurt because I was jumping around on the dance floor so much!” she says.

Looking ahead, the couple say they are eager to begin a new chapter of their lives together: parenthood.

“We’re ready, definitely,” says Rimes, adding that they’ve gotten some friendly nudging from their pal and new dad Keith Urban.

Says Rimes: “He’s encouraging us to start gettin’ on it!”
