Lauren Graham: “I’ve Been on a Diet for 35 Years.”

Poor Lauren Graham! I love french fries too much to hear about her constant dieting!

The 46-year-old TV star talks diets in the May issue of More and reveals that since the age of 11, she’s been watching what she eats. “I’ve been on a diet for 35 years,” the Parenthood actress recounts.

Boo! Here’s more from Graham about acting, writing and the unknown…

On the uncertainty of her profession: “I’ve spent a lot of time wondering, ‘What’s going to happen?'” she says of getting older. “I try not to allow myself to do that much anymore. I think I’ve gotten more comfortable with the unknown.”

On Acting: “Acting is the most bizarre profession. You can stay in it for years and not really be in it and be waiting for someone to give you an opportunity,” Graham explains. “It’s like when I watch American Idol and see people who have been told to believe in themselves at all costs: It’s not always a good idea.”

On Diane Keaton, who inspired Graham to start writing: “If she had told me to consider a career in banking, I would have done that,” Graham tells More. “I wanted to write about the tiny, tiny progress and the complete unknown of wanting to follow any impossible dream.”

Ah…the great unknown. It even petrifies the most successful among us! Read more HERE!

NEW COUPLE ALERT! Lauren Graham is dating her ‘Parenthood’ costar, Peter Krause!

Lauren Graham, whom I looooove, has opened up to Redbook Magazine about her relationship with her onscreen brother, Peter Krause! The pair play brother and sister on NBC’s Parenthood. The two have known each other for 15 years, but have only recently begun dating.

On having a relationship with a costar:

“One of the things that’s been so fun is that it’s so easy. It’s a lot, to work with somebody and spend time with them, too.”

On their early friendship:

“I think we liked each other [but] he asked me over to his house to play a board game – and that’s exactly what we ended up doing. So I was like, ‘This guy doesn’t like me. Who actually plays a board game?’… The timing wasn’t right. I don’t think either of us was ready.”

About keeping their relationship under wraps at first:

“Nobody knew about it for awhile, because we like to be at home, cooking and not going out. I’ve also been really protective of it, because it’s important that you can buy us as brother and sister on the show.”
