Lauren & Audrina at the 12th Annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Hollywood, November 15

It seems Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag have put their differences aside and ended their celebrity feud. The Hills stars were seen together the weekend before Halloween getting into Lauren’s black Mercedes convertible, which was parked in the garage of Lauren’s building, a source tells Star. “They were laughing, hugging and being very affectionate with one another,” says the source.
“There were no MTV cameras around,” the source adds. “This seemed like the real deal. I saw Heidi coming to visit Lauren at her apartment without her fiancé Spencer Pratt.”
So why the low-key meeting? “I think Lauren and Heidi made a secret pact not to tell anyone,” the source says. After all, The Hills thrives on drama from their falling out. Things will heat up on Monday’s episode though when Lauren and Heidi have a face-to-face talk. Considering that Lauren tells Heidi, “I want to forgive you, and I want to forget you,” in a video preview of the episode, it doesn’t seem like an on-screen reconciliation is imminent.

Just how real is The Hills? According to model Gavin Beasley—you may remember him as Lauren Conrad’s date (and also the guy who made Brody Jenner jealous)— the MTV show isn’t as real as the network or its stars would like you to believe.
Take the scene at Jenner’s barbecue on this Monday’s episode of The Hills. “[MTV] totally set up the BBQ scene for Brody and I to meet each other and talk because, as they said, ‘the audience would get a kick out of seeing ‘the ex’ talking to ‘the new guy,’” Beasley tells Best Week Ever’s blog in an exclusive interview.
“Brody would talk all this s—, then be like, ‘Sorry about that, we’re just trying to make good television,’” says Beasley. “He creates drama and a storyline. That’s why he is there.”
As for his date with Conrad—well, that didn’t impress Beasley either. And this time, it wasn’t producers’ fault. “[Conrad’s] kind of a conversation killer, and when the cameras are rolling, all conversation is kept firmly on the surface,” he says. So what did the two talk about? “I don’t know—pop culture, Red Bull, stuff like that. In fact, the most interesting thing I got out of her was that she isn’t allowed to eat ice cream because her trainer told her she can’t.”
“What you see is really what you get with these people,” Beasley continues. “The lack of depth was actually uncomfortable for me. Like, how can nothing be everything you talk about?”

The following message was posted on Heidi’s official website earlier today:

So what’s up with that? Well, a “source” close to Spencer and Heidi is claiming that Heidi’s web site was hacked and that the blog entry is fake.
So what do you guys think?

Looks like Lauren and Audrina will be appearing in a Maxime issue sometime soon. The two posed for camera’s in some racy outfits that you won’t see on any episode of The Hills. Audrina posed in a bra and panties and Lauren stuck with a more conservative look of a camisole. Both looked great. I bet Heidi is slapping herself and wondering why it is she hasn’t been asked to be in a magazine…..umm.. let me think……

Now that Laguna Beach alum, Stephen Coletti, has split from his star cheerleader- is he turning to his old flame friend, LC? Or is the flirty fashionista on the rebound now that the love of her life is betrothed to a USC tennis star?
Conrad & Coletti arrived at LA’s Opera for a Hornitos Tequila launch, but neither reality star stopped to talk to reporters on the carpet.

According to People Magazine, Lauren Conrad, a.k.a. LC, almost quit The Hills after the problems stemming from “the Heidi feud”.
“I actually came dangerously close to not doing season three, because I really didn’t want to do the show with Heidi and Spencer,” the reality TV star tells Seventeen magazine in its October issue. “I’m not who they are. I don’t stage my own publicity. I just kind of live my life and do my job, and I don’t want to be grouped with them.”
Of course considering that she is the main character on the show, MTV had something to say about her possibly not returning. MTV wanted ALL the previous characters to return for the show’s third season.
The network said “Heidi and Spencer were always a part of the show, and they can’t all of a sudden make main characters disappear,” Conrad says. “And so we continue to follow their lives, and the producers keep letting Heidi and Spencer think there’s some hope [that we'll make up].”
The verbal feud between Heidi and LC continues….. stay tuned if you care…
