Under the subject “Happy New Year” on her MySpace page, The Hills star Heidi Montag implied Tuesday that she is ready to put her feud with Lauren Conrad behind her this year.

“I just hope everyone is starting 2008 with a fresh clean slate like i am…the past is the past…and it is time for people to move on from negative influences in their lives and be more positive! I know at least i am going to try as hard as possible even when people don’t deserve kindness…i am still going to give them kindness! Also people should try not to judge other people in 2008!”

She also vowed “to stay way more in-touch with my myspace [sic] friends that are so loving and supportive. I will be trying to answer all my messages this year and respond to all questions!”

She did not mention Spencer Pratt, with whom she recently called off her engagement and shared a year of high and lows.

Before signing off, she wished all her friends, “a healthy, safe, loving, amazing, blessed New Year!”

Lauren was making out with Stephen Colletti, her ex from their days on Laguna Beach and a host for MTV, at LA’s Central on Saturday night.

After arriving together Conrad and Colletti stayed close to each other all night, flirting and chatting. They were spotted making out by the bar after Colletti carried her there from the dance area.

Lauren and Brent Bolthouse (ya know, Heidi’s boss) meet for a meal at the Newsroom Cafe.

Monday is the season finale of The Hills! Star, Lauren Conrad has said that she makes a “life-changing” decision then! Conrad told press, “I gotta be honest, I haven’t seen the final episode yet. I know that something happens in our lives, but I don’t know what they’re showing. Something very exciting happens in my life. I can’t tell you what, obviously, because it has to air, but it was a life-changing something”

Some say that she has been offered another chance to live in Paris. She turned it down the first time around because she was still with Jason Wahler and she didn’t want to give up being with him. LC won’t confirm what the news is!

She said, “I have to make a very big decision—which I made, which I’m very happy with now.”
