The former ‘N Sync star, 28, celebrated the 4th of July in New York’s Hamptons drinking Ciroc vodka with his new beau, model Pedro Andrade, a source close to Bass tells PEOPLE.

The two were at a party held at the Estate, a private home in the Hamptons.

“You could tell they’re very happy with each other,” a source says of Bass and Andrade. “Pedro is beyond good-looking … so hot. Pedro is spunky, full of life. They’re a perfect match.”

Asked about Bass and Andrade, the singer’s press rep, Cindy Owen, said, “I have no comment about his personal life at this time.”

Last winter Bass split from Amazing Race winner Reichen Lehmkul – and, in April, he told PEOPLE he was loving the single life: “It’s nice to be able to just date, because I had never been on a date in my life.”

Professionally, on Aug. 14 Bass will join the cast of Broadway’s long-running musical Hairspray. He’ll play the role of a Dick Clark-like TV host named Corny Collins, New York’s Daily News reports.

Since the breakup between Lance and Reichen over the alleged affair Reichen had with MTV “Real World’s” Davis Mallory, Bass and Lehmkuhl have kept mum. But now Reichen has spoken out on his MySpace blog, without naming Davis, but referring to his “Latest MEDIA STALKER from Atlanta.”

He states that his interaction with “this particlar person” was “brief and of bad judgement,” and that Reichen “was warned to stay away from him.” Now Reichen wants “him” to stay away.

Back in January, when the reality TV personalities allegedly hooked up, Reichen claims that the unnamed Davis promised him that he would let him talk to Lance before their affair leaked in the media, but news got to Lance before Reichen had a chance. Bass then supposedly dumped Reichen over the transgression. Lehmkuhl sends a final message to the “mystery” man, “Dude, just leave us the hell alone… Stop trying to approach us at parties. LEAVE US ALONE.” Meow!

According to E!’s Marc Malkin, this past Thursday, Lance and Davis had an encounter of their own. Sources claim the two ran into each other at the Logo Time Warner Cable Party in Los Angeles and had a little chat. Later that night, TMZ spies spotted Lance with a group of his boybuds at Tiger Heat nightclub in L.A., an 18-and-over club. Lance is so over Reichen, he’s now on twink patrol!

A rep for MTV’s “Real World” said, “We are not commenting on this.”

Former boy-bander and aspiring cosmonaut Lance Bass is adding a new title to his résumé: author.

The onetime ‘N Sync heartthrob, 27, plans to reveal “all about his life, his music and his sexuality” in a memoir, Out of Sync, his publisher, Simon Spotlight Entertainment (an imprint of Simon & Schuster), announced Wednesday.

The book will hit stores in October.

In it, Bass will tell readers about his childhood in small-town Mississippi, his experiences as a member of the hugely popular boy band (which started with a phone call from Justin Timberlake when Bass was 16), and, in 2002, his four months in Russia training to be a cosmonaut on a space mission (though he was forced to drop out because of a lack of funds).

He will also talk about his life as a gay man, including his struggle to keep his sexuality hidden from fans and his decision to come out of the closet on the cover of PEOPLE in July.

The guy who hooked up with Reichen Lehmkuhl at an Atlanta hotel — and who broke up Reichen’s relationship with Lance Bass — tells Life & Style that he never meant for things to end so badly.

“I honestly can’t believe this has escalated to the point where they split up,” says Davis Mallory who, like Lehmkuhl, is a reality show vet, having appeared in “The Real World: Denver.”

A mag insider says that after a Reichen book signing, Davis and Reichen met at Atlanta’s Wet Bar, and then ended up in Reichen’s hotel room. Bass read about the hookup on the Internet — and that was that.

After defending his NON-BREAKUP to anyone who will listen, Lance and Reichen have come out (no pun intended) and broken up fo real (yo).

Lance Bass confirms to PEOPLE that he and Reichen Lehmkuhl have called it quits once and for all.

“We broke up last week,” Bass says. “But we’re really good friends. Nothing bad at all – nothing bad at all to say.”

The couple had announced in early December that they were splitting though trying to work on their relationship. “We remain the best of friends,” they told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement Dec. 4. “Please respect our privacy as we try to work things out during this difficult time.”

Former ‘N Sync star Bass, 27, first revealed his relationship with model-actor-Amazing Race winner Lehmkuhl, 33, in July.

“I’m more liberated and happy than I’ve been my whole life,” Bass said at the time. “I’m just happy.”

OK, so that people stop jumping to conclusions and freakin out let me squash a few things.

#1 Yes I am thinking of doing a Xmas album next year. There really isnt any time to focus on a whole slol record, but think I can put together a nice Xmas one! Would love to do a record in the style of Sinatra, Crosby, and Martin. Fun!

#2 Yes Reichen and I have gone through a few rough days.. but instead of dealing with it by ourselves we get the honor of everyone joining in on our pain! lol No worries… I have no doubt things will work out.
