New song by Cher and Lady Gaga leaks…. and it’s BEYOND awful.

It’s hard for me to even take this song seriously – it’s that bad. What’s the right adjective to describe this song? I’m at a loss. Nicest thing I can say is it sounds very ABBA. No wait, that’s an insult to ABBA…. hmm.

Here we have the inappropriately-titled song, “The Greatest Thing,” by Cher and Lady Gaga. It leaked online today, and I don’t really know what to say about it. I’ve never been a Cher fan, so maybe you have to like her to like the song? Apparently the song is over a year old…. and now we know why it’s been under wraps for so long.

Cher herself is upset with the song…she hopped right on Twitter to say it was never supposed to be released, at least not like this. She said:

Just heard TGT ! FUCK ! IT’S NOT EVEN THE RIGHT FUCKING VERSION!!! WHY DO PPL THINK THIS KINDA LEAKING SHIT IS OK ! I’m so Fg DISSAPOINTED

Disappointed( Ive Sat on fkng song 4 over a yr )NOW SOME ASSHOLE LEAKS WRONG VERSION ! GaGa’s SINGLE IS GREAT, & THAT’S ALL THAT MATTERS

And to that compliment, Gaga tweeted right back, saying:

THANK YOU FOR HOLDING MY MEATPURSE @cher

AHHHjjhh my KWEEN! @cher: GREAT LYRICS

I love you @cher ! Thank you for the support, you’re the greatest thing!

Listen to the song below!

Lady Gaga covers V Magazine: “Does anyone really know what I went through to get here?”

Lady Gaga covers V Magazine for the bazillionth time. They love her… Lady Gaga is EVERYWHERE these days. I’m already sick of her, and her album isn’t even out yet. She’s promoting HEAVILY the new album, and here’s more of that.

There will be 4 Gaga covers, and V Magazine has only released two so far. I actually don’t mind them – and the one above isn’t half bad! She looks like Joan Jet. Or Kristen Stewart playing Joan Jet. I can’t tell. There isn’t much from the interview yet, but here’s what I’ve got.

She wants to be many icons, in many forms: “I thought about Pop Art and how the dominant subject matter was always the celebrity or the pop-culture icon on the canvas, and then I thought to myself, But what I have tried endlessly to become through my work is a celebration of my differences through art, with myself as the canvas, as opposed to me as the subject matter, being put on the canvas. I don’t want to be an icon in just one form. I want to be an icon in many forms. So that’s where it began.”

Her look on the cover: “That look was very hard for me because that is how I looked when I was 19 until I was 21 years old … Maybe longer. I got my hair cut like that when I was 18 and all these really painful things happened during this time.”

She has the ability to endure pain: “I have an ability to experience pain for long periods of time – to endure it, whether it’s mental pain or physical pain. I think it’s because of my discipline as a child. I studied piano and then theater and then dance, so I have this ability to endure long periods of pain. But as a result, when I became an adult at 18, I allowed myself to stay in bad situations because I was able to take the pain. Although I was able to withstand a challenge for that period of time in my youth, the results were destructive. I was left a shell. Does anyone really know what I went through to get here?”

Overcoming an eating disorder and a drug problem: “Art was always the thing that drove me forward in these challenging and painful circumstances.”

This girl really drives me nuts. I think she’s so pretentious it’s painful. I think there must be a better way to handle fame and whatnot than what she does. I’ve gotta hand it to her – it DID get her to where she is now…. but I find myself rolling my eyes at her constantly.

Yesterday she released an incredibly bizarre video of herself telling us to not buy into all the criticism over her new single. She also tweeted this: “Dont focus on ANY blogger criticism. I have been a producer/songwriter/musician for over 10 years. Trust the artist bloggers are not critics… #STOPHarassingTheArtist we are here to entertain you.”

Yesterday afternoon she stepped out with a bunch of paint all over her face. All in the name of art, of course. Zzzzz.

Lady Gaga steps out looking like a clown farted on her face.

Lady Gaga is REALLY taking her “ART” to a whole new level. Over the past 2-3 days, she’s been walking around Los Angeles with bizarre clown makeup on her face. The singer, 27, is wearing the same paint that can be seen on the cover of her new single “Applause,” which she released yesterday.

Gaga even stopped by Ryan Seacrest’s show yesterday and gave him an artful makeover. “One of us was born this way, one of us needed to be touched up,” Seacrest wrote along with the photo, which he posted on Instagram.

“Due to hackers and abundance of low/high quality leaks, we issue this pop music emergency … monsters spread the word,” Gaga announced on Monday after declaring an emergency. “My new single ‘Applause’ is out today and can be heard on United States radio in 15 minutes. International radio to follow.”

Here are photos of her arriving at the Chateau Marmont just a few minutes ago.

I’ll give her this… I much prefer the paint over the horns she sported last time she released an album. That was waaaaaaaaaaay worse.

VIDEO: “Lady Gaga is Over”

Lady Gaga released her new single, “Applause,” yesterday on iTunes, a week before it was due to be released. Internet hackers threatened to release the song, so she went ahead and did it herself.

Today she’s released a new promo clip from her Haus of Gaga, where she’s wearing a mask with some straps dangling from the sides. Quotes from the media scroll through the bottom, talking about her fall from the top. I agree with one (maybe more) of the quotes. She has SUCKED ever since ‘Born This Way’ and I’m not sure how she can go back to where she was.

In this video she says DO NOT BUY “Applause” in some sort of reverse psychology attempt. I wasn’t planning on buying it anyway, Gaga. The song is beyond bad.

And in case you haven’t heard it yet, here’s “Applause”:
