Is this ‘Burqa’ song an early leak off Lady Gaga’s new album?

I’m not even sure how this is considered a song – it sounds like something they would play to terrorists during a torture session. I’m hoping that this is just part of a bigger, better, song…and not the song itself.

Lady Gaga has a thing for burqas. According to sources, the vocal snippet below is Lady Gaga singing a song about the Islamic outer-garment.

This comes a few months after an instrumental supposedly titled “Burqa,” also allegedly from the single’s upcoming album, “ARTPOP,” leaked online. That hard-driving electro track is believably Gaga, especially as she’s working with dance music artists like Zedd on the upcoming LP. Take a listen below:

Here are the lyrics to this “song”:

Wear it out, harmonize, stability.
Disturb the unaware
Put it on, conceal your hair.
Disturb the unaware,
Bitch I’ve been on the cover of Vanity Fair.
Let’s get it on, religious risky fashion
Let’s get it on, religious risky fashion
Put it on, wear that Burqa all year long
all year long.
Burqa, Burqa, Burqa
lets get psychotic.
Burqa, Burqa, Burqa
lets get erotic.
robotic.
Make them all disagree,
Be the bel esprit.
Beleaguere them with the tea.
Show it off, you’re the celebrity.

Let’s just hope her album sounds better than this!

Lady Gaga reveals release date of new album, plus a new photo!

Lady Gaga has taken quite a bit of time off, while she heals from a hip surgery earlier this year. Today the singer took to her Facebook page to announce the release date of her new album, ‘ARTPOP.’

The new record will launch on Nov. 11, and the lead single will drop August 19. Pre-orders for ‘ARTPOP’ will be available on Sept. 9.

Gaga will also be unveiling a new app. According to her Facebook page, it’s “a musicial and visual engineering system that combines music, art, fashion and technology” that does a deep dive into “Gaga’s existence as a cultural interface” while allowing users to “experience the ‘adrenaline of fame.’”

The album itself is described as “a rage of electronic passion” that is heavily influenced by Gaga’s collaborators. Upstart progressive house producer Zedd is said to be producing a significant chunk of the album.

“ARTPOP could mean anything,” the statement reads. “But for her, it’s a celebration of obsession.” More celebrating to come on Nov. 10, when Gaga hosts “artRave,” an evening of exhibitions that highlight her work with artists such as Jeff Koons, Marina Abramovic and more. (Jay-Z, much?)

I hope her new album is better than her last one… I just never could get into it, and she got way too freaking weird for me.

PHOTO: Lady Gaga is back!

Look who’s feeling better!

Lady Gaga is back, and shared a picture with her Little Monsters. On her fan site she wrote, “It is a dangerous place where we put ART, but sacred where we make it.”

According to sources, Gaga made a surprise appearance and performance at jazz trumpeter Brian Newman’s show at the Gramercy Park Hotel in NYC. The singer gave an impromptu performance of “Someone to Watch Over Me.” After the show, Newman tweeted, “Thanks to the 1&only @ladygaga for coming out to @GPHhotel tonight an singing a song!!”

It was Gaga’s first time performing since she was forced to cancel her entire world tour and undergo emergency hip surgery in February.
