The waiting is finally over for singer KT Tunstall, who married Luke Bullen Saturday on a remote Scottish island, People has confirmed.

The maverick 33-year-old Scottish performer exchanged vows with her drummer in a marquee overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on the Isle of Skye.

“They wanted to keep it as a private event for family and friends,” says a pal of the singer. “It was just as they wanted it.”

The “Suddenly I See” singer reportedly wore a fitted silk strapless gown covered in crystals and simple jewelery for the ceremony, attended by about 150 guests.

Family in traditional wedding attire mingled with younger guests sporting bowler hats, puffball skirts, retro suits, sneakers and guitars according to a report in Britain’s Mail On Sunday newspaper.

Newlyweds and guests all enjoyed a traditional “wedding breakfast” of local beef and seafood before the couple was toasted with vintage champagne.

Later, everyone danced to live music featuring a medley of 1980s hits, as well as traditional Scottish folk music.

The new Mrs. Bullen booked two luxury hotels for five days of celebrations, with the first guests – some traveling from as far as Los Angeles – arriving on Thursday.

The eco-aware singer-songwriter selected the romantic Isle of Skye for her after holidaying there and falling for its stunning natural scenery. The Mail on Sunday adds that the couple plans to honeymoon on a backpacking trek they will take in South America, India and New Zealand.

Bullen proposed to Tunstall in 2007 on a surprise visit to her family home on Christmas Day.

Singer K.T. Tunstall has an unusual method for dealing with global warming - she lounges around her home completely naked.

The singer admits to stripping off when the temperature rises - and encourages communal bathing to prevent further damage to the environment.

She says, “I love walking around my house naked. “I also highly recommend sharing a bath, hitting yourself on the head with a ladle if you need to boil the kettle twice, and turning your heat down two degrees.”

And Tunstall confesses she gets turned on by the sight of a man who is into saving the planet: “It’s sexy stuff when you see a guy recycling his rubbish. It should be the new singles’ meeting place - the anti-dump.”

Scottish singer KT Tunstall is engaged to her boyfriend after he proposed on Christmas day, it has been revealed.

The ‘Suddenly I See’ singer revealed the good news on her website, that he beau, Luke Bullen, 34, popped the question out of the blue when he turned up to surprise her.

Luke, the drummer in Tunstall’s band, told the 32-year-old singer he was with friends in Norwich on Christmas Eve, but he was actually with her brother in a bar in Edinburgh, close to where she was staying at her parents’ house in St Andrews.

Katie said: “So 11 o clock on Christmas morning, the doorbell goes and it’s Luke, suited and booted. With all his bags. And a little box. Wrapped with a ribbon. He proposed!”

Apparently Luke had paid a visit to her parents a month before to ask their permission and her whole family were in on the plan.

“Being an opportunist, I obviously said yes and we’re gonna do the deed way up in the wild north before then end of the year,” she continued.

“It feels smashing. I never thought it would make me feel so good. I’m tempted to be really sad and post a pic of my ring – it’s gorgeous! Keep an eye out for a little sparkle as I’m playing those chords.”
