Kristin Cavallari had a special someone cheering her on Monday night during her performance on ‘Dancing With the Stars’.

The reality star’s former fiance, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was there to support his ex as she performed with Mark Ballas.

The QB also tweeted his support for Cavallari, writing Monday night, “Get your votes in for KC. Great Samba.”

So does this mean that the former flames are heating things up again?

Well, maybe.

Last month, it was rumored that the couple was thinking about getting back together.

“They’re not officially back together but they’re definitely talking and figuring things out,” a source told PEOPLE, adding that they are taking things slow this time around.

Cavallari and Cutler started quietly dating last September and announced their engagement in April.

However, the couple suddenly called off their wedding — just days before Cavallari’s wedding dress photo shoot hit newsstands.

Back when the couple split, it was rumored that Jay called off the wedding because Kristen was more focused on her career than her marriage. Jay urged Kristen to move with him to Chicago, where he plays, but Kristen wanted to stay in Hollywood.

Kristin Cavallari may have plit from former fiance and Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, but the Dancing with the Stars reality television star told reporters that no matter what, she would always cheer on her home team.

“I’m a fan of the Bears… I’m from Chicago!” she told reporters last night with an awkward laugh about why she was wearing the sweatshirt.

As for a possible reconciliation? Kristin said, “I’m not going to talk about that.”

Instead, Kristin would rather talk about the Marilyn costume she wore dancing the quickstep with Mark Ballas that earned her 22 points.

“I want to just wear it to dinner!” she told reporters. “It’s all my real hair too, they just pinned it under.”

“It’s so much fun,” Kristin said of her transformation. “It’s like playing dress up, like playing a character. It’s fun.”

Just two days before Kristin Cavallari’s fiancé, Jay Cutler, broke off their engagement, she was glowing with excitement while trying on a series of wedding dresses at her exclusive Life & Style photo shoot. The reality star looked dazzling in gowns by Anne Bowen and Mon Cheri Bridals as she gushed about her plans for a traditional wedding and her vision of walking down the aisle in a strapless gown.

“I want a romantic, mystical wedding, with lots of flowers,” she shared with Life & Style during the shoot at LA’s Mondrian Hotel on July 21

Now, an insider close to Kristin reveals that the real trouble began the very next day—on July 22—when Jay asked her to fly back to Chicago with him the following morning.

“Kristin said she didn’t want to because she’s working on a new TV project and had a full day of shooting scheduled for Tuesday [July 26],” the insider explains. But Jay was angry about it and the argument escalated. “He told her that she needed to commit to him, and to move to Chicago,” the insider continues. When it became clear that Kristin had no intention of giving up her career in entertainment, Jay broke up with her — returning to Chicago alone on July 23.

Starting a family was also an issue between the couple, who began dating last September. “Jay’s family was pushing Kristin to get pregnant immediately,” says the insider. “Kristin knows she’s too young for kids right now.”

Still, a friend close to Kristin tells Life & Style she was stunned and heartbroken after Jay called things off. “Kristin really loved Jay. She is devastated.”

Reality TV star Kristin Cavallari has been dumped by her Chicago Bears QB fiance Jay Butler. The star is said to be “devastated” over the relationship ending. The picture above was taken only a week ago when the couple vacationed in Miami, Florida. You know now that you mention it, he doesn’t look too happy!

This is not the fairy-tale ending Kristin Cavallari was hoping for. After just 10 months together, Cavallari and Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler have called off their engagement, a source confirms to PEOPLE.

“She got dumped,” says another source. “She’s absolutely devastated. She can’t believe this is happening.”

The couple, who were planning a spring wedding, became engaged in April, when Cutler popped the question in Mexico. They had been spending much of their time recently in Chicago, and Cavallari had planned to move there during the upcoming football season.

“She was planning her dream wedding, the date was set, the location – everything was set,” the source says. “She’s in shock that the dream wedding she was planning is going to end this way.”

Just a week ago, Cavallari Tweeted about her engagement party. “Thx to all my amazing friends for making my engagement party a blast last night!” she wrote.

The couple had completed their wedding registry, and Cavallari was determined to be in great shape for the wedding. Saturday night Cavallari hit The Beverly, an L.A. lounge, and was spotted without her engagement ring.

“She was hanging out at a table with Nicky Hilton and Alessandra Ambrosio,” a source tells PEOPLE. “She was telling friends how they called off the engagement.”

A rep for Cavallari had no comment.
