According to ‘Twilight’ director Catherine Hardwicke, Kristen Stewart fell in love with Robert Pattinson the first time she met him.
“She felt connected to him from the first moment. That electricity, or love at first sight, or whatever it is,” Hardwicke tells Newsweek of the couple, who are now filming Breaking Dawn in Vancouver.
Stewart met Pattinson in Hardwicke’s kitchen in Malibu, Calif. After they kissed for the first time in the audition (on the director’s bed!), Stewart helped Pattinson get the job.
“Kristen was like, ‘It’s got to be Rob!’ ” Hardwicke recalls.
But the director made Pattinson make a promise first: “You’ve got to realize that Kristen is 17 years old,” she told the actor, who is four years older than his costar. “She’s underage. You’ve got to focus, dude, or you’re going to be arrested. I made him swear on a stack of Bibles.”
For the record, it was love at first sight for me too.
PS: The photo above is from ‘Breaking Dawn’ – the upcoming final installment in the ‘Twilight Saga’. Cannot wait!

Multiple sources are confirming that Twilight star Kristen Stewart has been offered the role of Snow White in ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’.
Though the official word is that Stewart remains a “person of interest” to take on the role of Snow White, sources close to the production dished that the role is hers if she wants it.
Other big names rumored to be attached to the Rupert Sanders-directed project include Viggo Mortensen as the Huntsman and Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen. The film is set for a 2012 release date.
Besides wrapping up the final ‘Twilight’ installment, Stewart is beginning promotion for the Jack Kerouac-based film ‘On the Road,’ co-starring ‘Country Road’ heartthrob Garrett Hedlund.
What do you think? Could Stewart be the “fairest of them all?”

Here are the new images from the big screen adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s seminal novel On the Road.
Actors Kristen Stewart, Sam Riley and Garrett Hedlund look über-cool enough to play the lead roles of the Beat Generation’s most famous protagonists.
Here’s the synopsis:
After the death of his father, Sal Paradise, a young writer from New York, meets Dean Moriarty, a young and dangerously seductive rebel. The immediately click. Determined not to get stuck in a mediocre life, Sal and Dean hit the road. With a thirst for freedom, they explore the world and travel to meet others and find themselves.
Have any of you read the book? I’m dying to read it! Maybe I’ll start that tonight…

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Kristen Stewart is on the top of the list to play Snow White in Universal’s new movie, ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’.
The movie, being directed by Rupert Sanders, is in deep casting mode, with Viggo Mortensen entering negotiations to play the Huntsman earlier Wednesday. Charlize Theron is in negotiations to play the evil queen.
Stewart is a name that Universal has kept coming back to since acquiring the project even as it went through a series of screen tests with actresses such as Riley Keough, Felicity Jones and Alicia Vikander. Emily Browning tested this past weekend (Stewart has reached a point in her career where testing isn’t required).
Stewart, arguably one of the biggest stars in the world thanks to the Twilight movies, has focused on indie projects in between the vampire romancers, and this could become her first studio project since becoming a name. It also would put her in the shoes of an iconic character.
The Gersh-repped actress is currently shooting the Breaking Dawn movies, but the Snow White team has been making repeated overtures even as late as last week.
What do you think? I’m on the fence with this casting. Snow White is a sweet, innocent, loving character. I’m not sure if Kristen can really pull off the sweet and innocent thing. She always looks a bit awkward onscreen – like she’s having her teeth pulled or something. Most characters she plays are more of the tortured type. Snow White seems like a bit of a stretch – I’d be impressed if she could pull it off.

One of the hottest actresses around right now, Kristen Stewart covers the February 2011 issue of Vogue magazine.
Kristen posed for a spread shot by Mario Testino while opening up with the fashionable mag about topics including her girl-crush on Jake Gyllenhaal’s Golden Globes date, Jenny Lewis.
Kristen raves about Lewis, who leads up the Indie band Rilo Kiley, “She’s the only person I’ve ever met that I can’t function around.”
Also talking about her “Twilight Saga” character, Kristen admits that Bella is so “embedded in so many people’s psyches at this point. It’s starting to enter my head a lot more than it used to because it’s at the end and it’s come such a long way. I just want the fans of the book to be happy.”
As for the hefty paychecks she’s receiving for her work (estimated at $20 million per film), the 20-year-old said, “It’s funny when you are endowed not only with public recognition on a f***ing seriously vast level, but also money. Like, funds.”

I posted this picture last week – but this copy is much better! Here’s a clearer at the picture!
This week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly includes the first official photo from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, and here it is! Yes, that’s Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattison) sharing a bed as man and wife on their wedding night. Anticipation for the Twilight series’ fourth movie (due in theaters Nov. 18) is running high, and director Bill Condon tells EW that this was the one scene in particular he spent a lot of time thinking about. “You want to live up to people’s expectations,” he says. “People take [the movie and characters] personally. When you are interpreting something you have a certain vision of how it will be. Sometimes it is a liberal interpretation, but you hope you get to the essence of something.”

HollywoodLife got their hands on the new issue of Vogue, and Twilight’s Kristen Stewart is on the cover!
Landing the cover of Vogue is no easy feat – so congrats to the actress! The photos (you can see more here) were shot by Mario Testino.
“I choose things that are so overly ambitious,” Kristen tells Vogue. And the actress has chosen well! She’s skyrocketed to success with The Twilight Saga but has maintained her humble beauty without a trace of ego.
Bill Condon, the director of Breaking Dawn, reveals to the mag that, “Kristen was the top of my list of reasons to do this movie.”
Here are some other highlights from Kristen’s interview:
- On finding a good part: ”A compulsion absolutely fills you”
- On returning to the Twilight set: “[It was] like going back to school… Twilight is a different beast.”
- On getting into acting: ”I don’t think I would ever have been able to be an actress had I not started at nine years old. I would have been the last person to stand up and say, ‘I’d like to star in the play.”
- On trusting her friends: ”You build a perimeter of people that are really important to you.”
- On her privacy: ”There’s no way to eloquently put this. I just can’t go to the mall. It bothers me that I can’t be outside very often. And also to not ever be ’some girl’ again. Just being some chick at some place, that’s gone.”
- On why she stays mum about her relationship with Robert Pattinson: ”It’s not my job.”
