Kimora Lee Simmons filed for divorce from Russell Simmons, Tuesday, according to reports.
The couple had announced that they split up in March of 2006, but said that they had already been separated for some time.
In court papers, Kimora, 32, cites irreconcilable differences and asks for legal and physical custody of the couple’s two daughters, Ming, 8, and Aoki, 5. She requests that Simmons, 50, get “reasonable child visitation … to be accompanied at all times by the children’s nanny and security personnel.
So, he gets visitation of his children with their nanny and security detail? That’s awful generous of her. (Insert sarcasm here.)

Hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons’ ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons wants to honor her late dog by turning the pet’s remains into a diamond. The Baby Phat model and fashion designer is in mourning after 18-year-old bitch Zoe’s recent death. But she is contemplating celebrating Zoe’s life with a new piece of jewelry.
She tells People.com, “You have to… grieve. It’s okay to take time and say this meant something to my life and (to) honor it. “There is a company that makes diamonds out of your loved ones. They make diamonds from a little of the carbon from the ash, so I might do that. I might turn her into a diamond.”

The legendary singer, who has a two-year-old adopted son David from the African country, threw the New York bash for her Raising Malawi Foundation, United Nations children’s organization UNICEF and to celebrate the opening of a new Gucci store.
Madonna, who dismissed rumors the event was raising money for Kabbalah, said: “I am grateful that Gucci has underwritten this event, that’s all that matters to me – their generosity. There’s always controversy surrounding anything that involves change.
“I want to put Raising Malawi on the map. I want credibility as a philanthropic organization. I want to inspire people. I don’t want them to just write me a check – I want them to give me a piece of their heart.”
