This just in - Kim Kardashian is filing for divorce this morning! Ryan Seacrest, who is close to the reality star just tweeted the confirmation. “Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning. I touched base with her, getting a statement in just a few mins”

I’m not terribly surprised, but I’m a bit shocked how quickly this went down! They didn’t even last 3 months!! The couple even hit the red carpet together just 9 days ago!!

Kim Kardashian will file for divorce this morning, after 72 days of not-so-wedded bliss to Kris Humphries … TMZ has learned.

We’re told even though the marriage was short, she will not seek an annulment. It’s a garden variety divorce, in which Kim cites “irreconcilable differences.”

We’re told the date of separation is listed as today, Oct. 31, 2011.

Kim has hired disso-queen Laura Wasser, who has repped the likes of Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds, and Robyn Gibson, Mel’s almost ex-wife.

As we first reported, the couple has a prenuptial agreement … Kim made sure of that.

Rumors of a split had been swirling for some time and the two were spotted out to dinner earlier this week … looking less than pleased with one another.

This news makes me CRAZY….. what this girl wouldn’t do for a little fame. It’s DISGUSTING. If Kris Jenner can find a way to profit off this divorce, believe me – she will.

Kim Kardashian thought she’d play a prank on fans while helping out her brother when she send out a fake tweet that allegedy gave out Justin Bieber‘s phone number. Instead, the digits directed callers to vote fer her brother Rob on Dancing With the Stars, and the other contestants were steaming mad saying that she cheated.

On Monday, she sent out this tweet to her 10,7 million followers:

“OMG I have @JustinBieber’s phone#!!!! 800 8684302! CALL HIM! He’s taking calls for the next hour!!!”

Why anyone would actually believe that Justin Bieber’s direct line would be an 800 number is beyond me, but there are enough tweens that didn’t know any better that dialed thinking they would actually get to speak to the pop star.

Her own fans turned on her on Twitter, calling her “lame” and accusing her of “cheating” for her brother.

“It is totally unfair that Kim did that,” an insider told us. “The other celebs on the show don’t send out fake information to trick people into voting.”

“Some of the contestants think that Rob should be disqualified for having his family cheat like that for him,” the DWTS insider revealed.

Kim Kardashian has only been married for a a few months, and although she pulled off a fairytale wedding with husband Kris Humphries, she admits that getting adjusted to living with her new husband and family has taken some getting used to.

“It’s not ideal because you’re newlyweds and you want privacy,” she recently told PEOPLE, explaining the challenges of living with her new husband and sister Kourtney, her boyfriend Scott Disick and their son Mason while they filmed the second season of Kourtney and Kim Take New York.

But Kardashian’s mom Kris Jenner, who says the duo is going “two separate directions [with work],” says she’s confident that “they’ll figure it out as soon as they get back [to L.A.].”

Kim Kardashian and husband Kris Humphries have only been married for eight weeks, but according to the reality star, the honeymoon’s already over.

In an interview with People Magazine during her 31st birthday party, held at the Marquee Nightclub in Las Vegas, Kim revealed “It’s not been ideal because you’re the newlyweds and you want privacy.”

Privacy was in short supply in the initial weeks following their wedding, which aired on E! Entertainment Television as a two-night event. Just after the nuptials, the twosome began their married life by rooming with Kim’s sister Kourtney, her boyfriend Scott and son Mason in The Big Apple — as Kim and Kourtney were shooting Kourtney and Kim take New York.

Kim also admitted, “We have to find our home base,” noting the constant traveling they have to do for various work projects.

Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, stated to People, “They’re going two separate directions (with work). They’ll figure it out as soon as they get back.” Kim was recently pegged to star in her first major motion picture, a new Tyler Perry project, which will continue to keep her away from her handsome hubby.

The two are currently living together in Los Angeles, and have been spotted together at several tapings of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, as they cheer on Kim’s little brother, Rob.

People also reported that during the event, “Kim looked like a happy and relaxed birthday girl in her VIP area, holding hands and kissing Humphries.”

I really hope they make it (I hope everyone makes it). Hopefully they wait a while to bring kids into this situation!

Though Kris Humphries was spotted moving boxes out of his NYC home that he shares with wife Kim Kardashian, the couple — AGAIN — want to hush rumors that they’re breaking up.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are NOT on the verge of a split … not even close … despite several screaming magazine covers and websites SWEARING they’re headed for divorce.

Sources say that there is a move going on, however, they couple are moving on up to the Westside — to Los Angeles.

The couple had been living out of NYC’s swagtastic Gansevoort Hotel for a couple months while Kim shot her new reality show “Kim and Kourtney Take New York” — and yesterday, it was finally time to move out.

As for Kris’ lack of wedding ring — we’re told the guy just isn’t a fan of jewelry.
