Since finding out about his divorce to Kim Kardashian and his future NBA career in jeopardy, it seems Kris Humphries is exploring other avenues.

He can thank his soon-to-be ex-wifey for the profile boost because now the job offers are rolling in. Chippendales Las Vegas have been in contact with Kris and offered him the roll as MC for the premier ladies entertainment show in Vegas.

“We figured since he was unemployed and soon-to-be former husband of Kim Kardashian, a gig at Chippendales might be the perfect job to help restore his faith in women,” revealed a rep from the show.

Kris will have some serious decisions to make with another offer from LocalHotClassifieds.com to match his earnings on Keeping Up with the Kardashians if the buff New Jersey Netter will become their spokesperson.

The NBA star is keeping a low profile in the midst of all the media hype and is keeping his distance from Vegas after cancelling an appearance this Saturday at Chateau Nightclub with organizers releasing the following statement: “Kris Humphries has cancelled his engagement on Saturday night at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens. We support his decision and recognize this has been a difficult week for Kim and Kris, and look forward to having him back when he is ready.”

Maybe he’s trying to avoid a conflict of interest!?

Kim Kardashian donned a brave face for the paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport this morning after returning from a trip to Australia with her sister Khloe Kardashian Odom and Lamar Odom.

She seemed unresponsive and numb to the cameras swarming around her.

I’ve got to give it to her though, her hair looks flawless!

First of all – how did she struggle for months – when she was married just two months! She struggled the WHOLE time!? I’m sorry but she SHOULD be sorry. If she struggled the whole time – then I can 100% guarantee you that she knew as she walked down that aisle that she DID NOT want to get married, but she did it anyway. So cry me a river Kim. You should be sorry.

Kim Kardashian wrote an emotional email to her extended family members early Monday morning — giving them a head’s up that she was filing for divorce … and apologizing for “jumping the gun.”

TMZ has learned … Kim emailed several people on her father’s side of the family in the hours before she filed the documents with the court … saying, “I would rather you hear it from me than someone else or the news.”

In the letter, Kim explains, “I know this seems crazy … I’ve spent the last few months struggling with my marriage.”

“Kris is a great guy but we come from such different worlds and he isn’t what I thought when we 1st met.”

“I’m embarrassed that I took everyone on this journey with me and had this huge wedding. But I have to be happy, so I have to let this relationship go. “

And the sad thing is – she should have known better. She’s already been married! Kris was her second marriage! What she’s done just proves that she’s the biggest fame whore out there – and she’ll do anything – including get married – for a bit of publicity. This disgusts me.

PS: Do you get the feeling that Khloe is just loving every minute of this? I don’t know why – but I just get that feeling. Khloe’s been able to stay married to Lamar – and seems totally happy. When Kim’s wedding and ring were bigger and “more beautiful” than what Khloe pulled off – I got the impression there was a bit of rivalry between the sisters going on. So I wonder if now that everything has fallen apart – Khloe’s getting some kick out of this.

You know it’s bad when a Kardashian cancels a public appearance.

According to Kim’s friends, she’s apparently so “distraught” over her divorce and the wave of negative publicity that followed, she’s bailing on her Australian appearances and returning to the US.

Kim is moaning to friends, The Melbourne Cup appearance — a Thoroughbred horse race — is the first time she’s ever missed work, but she says she just can’t handle it.

And, we’re told she’s saying, “I need to take care of me now, and I can’t work for awhile.”  It’s unclear if Kim means that she’s put the brakes on her reality show, or whether she’ll be selective as to what she does and doesn’t do.

She’s had a quick change of heart, just yesterday she gave an interview in which she said she “really didn’t want to bail on everyone” and comes after two full days of media and endorsements for her family’s new handbag line in Sydney.

In a statement to the Herald Sun today she said: “I am very disappointed that I am unable to attend the Swisse marquee but I hope to come back and work with the Swisse team at another point in time.”

Kim was being paid $150,000 by Swisse for a one-hour appearance.

A spokesman for the vitamin’s giant confirmed the withdrawal and said they were disappointed.

“All indications were that Kim wanted to fulfill all of her commitments once she landed in Australia but has obviously changed her mind given her very difficult personal challenges at the moment,” the spokesman said.

It is understood an email was sent out late yesterday afternoon canceling the Melbourne trip as it would be “too much” for the so-called celebrity.

Despite being too devastated to head to Melbourne, Kardashian was able to manage an in-store appearance spruiking her handbag range in Sydney today.

It’s believed Swisse tried to get visiting sister Khloe as an eleventh hour substitute but were also turned down.

The siblings will now leave Sydney for LA tomorrow.

Seems like the million dollar question right now is whether or not Kim Kardashian should have to return her wedding ring, after filing for divorce on Monday.

When Kris Humphries proposed, he gave Kim a reported $2 million Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring. No one disputed what the ring was worth – until now – when Kim should give the ring back.

Kris Jenner, Kim’s mom, gave an interview on the ‘Today Show’ this morning, and she claims “it wasn’t a $2 million ring. I mean you write it down, you say it out loud and suddenly it’s a fact … it was not 2 mill, it was less than half of that.”

She then added, “I don’t know the exact price, I didn’t buy the ring. Some of these reports get so outrageous and everybody gets so carried away.”

The ring, designed by Lorraine Schwartz, features a 16.5 carat emerald cut center stone flanked by two 2-carat trapezoids … for a grand total of 20.5 carats.

So … who gets it now?

A very defensive Kris says “it was a gift and I don’t know … I’m sure they wil work this out as soon as they get back. And I know Kim just plans on making very generous contributions to a really deserving charity when she gets home to trying to make that right because she feels really bad.”

I think it’s funny that no one came forward before to shoot down rumors that the ring cost $2 million. But NOW, now that Kim is the one who looks bad, Kris goes on the defense and says “the ring’s not worth that much”.

Poor taste, if you ask me. But I don’t expect anything less!

Kim Kardashian took to her website yesterday to write a letter to her fans, explaining herself and why she’s getting divorced after only 72-hours. She’d like to say first of all – how DARE you imply that she didn’t marry for love! The Kardashians are fame whores by nature, this isn’t something they can help, people.

This is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. I see all of  the support and I am so thankful for my fans, friends and family who are  helping me through this difficult time.

I am trying not to read all the different media reports but it’s hard not to see all the negative ones. First and foremost, I married for love. I can’t believe I  even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on  something just for a TV show! I share so much of my life on a reality  show, that contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough  decision to make, and maybe it turned out to not be the smartest  decision. But it’s who I am! We filmed Kourtney giving birth, Khloe  getting married, break ups, make ups, our best moments and our worst  moments. These were all real moments. That’s what makes us who we are. We share, we give, we love and we are open!

Everyone that knows me knows that I’m a hopeless romantic! I love with  all of my heart and soul. I want a family and babies and a real  life so badly that maybe I rushed in to something too soon. I  believed in love and the dream of what I wanted so badly. I felt like I  was on a fast roller coaster and couldn’t get off when now I know I probably should  have. I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show  that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn’t know  how to and didn’t want to disappoint a lot of people.

I’m being honest here and I hope you respect my courage because this  isn’t easy to go through. But I do know that I have to follow my heart. I  never had the intention of hurting anybody and I accept full responsibility for my actions and decisions, and for taking everyone on this journey with me. It just  didn’t turn out to be the fairy tale I had so badly hoped for.

There are also reports that I made  millions of dollars off of the wedding. These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this. I’m so grateful to everyone who took  the time to come to my wedding and I’ll be donating the money for all  the gifts to the Dream Foundation.

I’m sorry if I have hurt anyone, but my dad always told me to follow my heart. I believe now that I really am.

If you’re a less-than-three-months-together newlywed *cough*KimKardashian*cough* and you decide to divorce, should you return the wedding gifts? Etiquette expert Lizzie Post says yes, and that if the union lasts less than six months, it’s only appropriate that the couple returns all the fancy hand towels and silverware engraved with the pair’s initials.

“When it comes to wedding gifts, polite protocol deems that if the marriage lasts less that six months then they should definitely be returned to the buyer.”

The couple’s wedding registries were no joke. At Geary of Beverly Hills, they asked for around $172 million worth of gifts, including a $7,850 Baccart crystal vase and $38,400 worth of dinnerware. What are you eating?

“She should add a note saying: ‘Thank you for your love and support, we have decided to end our marriage and we wanted to return this gift to you,’” said Post, adding that they should also make sure that any store credits go back to the person who bought the present.

“The only exception is if they were personally monogrammed or had been used,” she added.

“If there are guests who haven’t sent a gift yet – they have until three months after the wedding before it’s considered rude – then they are now off the hook and don’t have to.”

That’s nice and all, but what about the $2 million, 20.5-carat diamond ring?

“Technically the ring is a promise to get married and she did that, so she should not have to give it back. It is hers now so she can do with it whatever she wants.”

As far as moving forward with the split, divorce experts say that the only true way to a healthy break-up is truly identifying your own responsibility:

“It’s very important for them to get professional help to identify their part in the marriage breakup, they have to take personal responsibility for their sides in it. Even though their marriage was so short it is very traumatic.”

“There are so many hopes and dreams that are attached to the marriage, no matter how long it lasts – heartbreak is heartbreak.”

“The rate of divorce goes up with the second marriage. It’s 50 percent for the first marriage and 60 percent for the second.”

“When one partner is extremely busy and the other one has a lot of spare time it causes an intense imbalance. The partner who is not working doesn’t feel part of it, he feels abandoned and left out.”
