Is Kris Humphries trying to hold onto his marriage with Kim Kardashian. She may have filed the divorce papers, but Life & Style reports that the New Jersey Nets player is refusing to sign off on the legal split.

“He’s not signing. He doesn’t believe in divorce.”

Following Kim’s visit to Minnesota to meet with Kris and Pastor Joel Johnson who resided over their wedding, Kim decided to move ahead with the divorce. Immediately after finding out that his wife no longer wanted to be Mrs. Humphries, Kris released the statement:

“I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce. I’m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.”

Pastor Joel also commented, saying:

“I would love to connect with Kim and try to pull the reins back and redirect this energy in a more redemptive way.”

Mariah Carey is the new face/body of “Jenny” (Jenny Craig’s new name). At a press conference where the singer was announced as the new spokeswoman, Mariah Carey made some pretty off-color remarks about Kim Kardashian, and they’re genius.

When she was heavy, she always covered up: “I had a towel on in the tub. I’m not lying, I promise you! You think I would let Nick see me looking rancid like that?”

She didn’t want to know how much weight she gained while pregnant: “I didn’t want to know, because why would I want to feel that bad? I know it was a number that I never want to see again.”

Bones: “I had, like, no bones for a while. It’s important to me to feel my bones!”

Eating while pregnant: Carey says she cooked hearty Italian meals and “soul food” throughout her pregnancy, and admitted that it’s easy to overeat when you’re eating for two – or in her case, three. “Maybe the portions weren’t what they should’ve been,” she said. “Even as a pregnant woman you kind of have control over it, but you don’t feel like it when you’re pregnant.”

She’s not petite: “I’m also 5′9″ and I’m not a petite girl.”

Not-so-veiled comments about Kim Kardashian: “I’m a real person, I’m not going to put on a fake face for Hollywood. Sometimes [Nick and I] make each other mad, that’s why we aren’t divorced after four months. I’m sorry, I’m just saying.”

Obviously: “You know, I had a situation in the past where I was controlled, and I was really young, and it affected the way I trusted people. I had no team, besides my dog and my cat. Me and Nick we always joke, I’m an Aries, I need so much attention!”

Isn’t life funny? Kim’s filming a movie called ‘The Marriage Counselor’!?

After filing for divorce a week ago, the reality star is set to star in Tyler Perry’s upcoming film ‘The Marriage Counselor’, but fans are not happy one bit.

Kim had apparently agreed to star in Tyler’s latest film before she decided to end her own marriage, and she’s simply honoring a commitment she made earlier.

Perhaps shrewdly on Perry’s part, Kardashian has been cast not as the titular protagonist but as her friend and coworker Ava. When the married counselor, played by Jurnee Smollett (Friday Night Lights), starts an affair with a client and complicates her life, Ava steps in to provide support and a much-needed makeover.

The role is Kardashian’s first bid for more serious attention as an actress, since her roles in Deep in the Valley (2008) and Disaster Movie (2008) were hardly noteworthy. Lionsgate will release the film.

Though Perry fans are not too happy about the casting. Many have taken to the filmmaker’s website to air their disapproval publicly (though, in most cases, respectfully).

“I am a huge fan and I’ve seen everything Tyler Perry,” wrote user Gee. “Have to say I don’t understand the reason for casting KK in your upcoming film. Personally, I am sick to death of her being glorified for nothing more than having sex on camera. She doesn’t need the money and she certainly doesn’t need any more attention. And, although I still support you, I won’t be contributing one dime to anything with K. Kardashian in it.”

Another commenter, Lisa, said, “Mr. Perry, You are truly a talent and inspiration to all minorities , and your movies are ones anyone who has grown up ” hard” can relate to. So sir thank you for your many gifts of entertainment. Yet I feel your casting is off when Kim K was hired to be a part of your cast. In my opinion she is the wrong person to speak or act regarding marriage. There are far more deserving actors out there who could really use the work… Please sir consider another choice in casting this character. Thank You Again… And God Bless…”

Though Robert got a little more aggressive, saying, “Are you really going to keep Kim K. in you movie? Will be organizing a nation wide boycott of all things Tyler Perry if this is true.”

As of Wednesday afternoon, there were over 15 pages of comments specifically relating to Kardashian.

Time for your daily recap of the Kardashian divorce drama. Ready?

According to TMZ, there will be NO reconciliation between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries. The divorce is still on – and currently in motion, according to sources.

Kim may be conflicted about the divorce, but she knows it’s the right thing to do. Her trip to Minnesota over the weekend wasn’t about giving it another try – it was about closure. (Not surprised)

Sources tell TMZ that Kris’ Minnesota lawyer is handling the divorce, and apparently there are “no conflicts” over the terms of the divorce.

Kris’ dad gave an interview to Life & Style mag, in which he defends his son’s honor.

In an exclusive interview with Life & Style, Kris Humphries’ dad, William Humphries, opens up his about his son’s reaction to Kim Kardashian’s filing for divorce and reveals how Kris is now coping with the split.

“There was never a discussion about it — it just came out of nowhere and blindsided Kris,” William claims in the new issue of Life & Style, on newsstands now. “How could someone do that? Kris was completely surprised. The news was already published before he found out!”

While a rep for Kim insists Kris did know the divorce was coming, friends and family say Kris, now back in his hometown of Chanhassen, Minn,. is still heartbroken. “He’s hurting, but we’re here for him,” William reveals to Life & Style. “It’s nice that he’s here [in Minnesota] with family during this time.”

Kris was so hurt by the news that he refused to even speak to his wife — until she surprised him by flying to Minnesota on Nov. 6 to hash out the details of the divorce. “Kris told me that Kim was texting him a lot, but he wouldn’t respond,” his friend tells Life & Style. “They did speak briefly the day the split was announced — but only because Kim was apparently pissed that Kris had released his own statement.”

“It’s not a nice situation. No matter how you look at it, he’s going through a divorce,” William adds.

Hollywood Life claims Kim’s trip to MN was all business.

“Kim visited Kris so that he wouldn’t talk to the press. She was making sure that he wouldn’t do ‘anything stupid’ and ‘law low’ and not talk to any media outlets about their relationship. She seems more about controlling how her brand is affected than reconciling the relationship.”

According to several sources, the couple weren’t left alone for a minute while she visited MN, and she quickly headed home after getting what she needed to say off her chest.

Kris Jenner went on the ‘Tonight Show With Jay Leno’ to promote her new book, Kris Jenner … And All Things Kardashian last night. When asked if Kris would be edited out of the upcoming season of ‘Kourtney & Kim Take New York’, she insisted he wouldn’t. ”No, no, no, no, no,” said Jenner, a producer on the show, which wrapped filming on its second season a couple months ago.

“We decided a long time ago when we first started doing these shows that we were going to be really just raw and not edit ourselves, and we don’t take stuff out, as you see all the time, so I think everybody will get a really fascinating glimpse into the kids journey in New York City.”

And how is Kim doing, according to Kris (Jenner)?

“She needs to do what she’s doing now and cry and figure it out,” Jenner added. “She’s just trying to follow her heart, and she’s going to be OK.”

I don’t believe E! would cancel a single minute of the Kardashian mess, they’ve made so much money off that family, it’s not even funny. But MediaTakeOut is reporting they have sources over at E! who claim the network is about to pull the plug on all the drama. (Please)

When MediaTakeOut.com heard that Kim Kardashian was LEAVING her paid appearances in Australia to fly back to the United States to reconcile with Kris Humphries – we thought, SOMETHING IS FISHY!!

Well now, we’re starting to get a clearer picture. According to an insider over at E! Networks – the channel is considering DROPPING Kim Kardashain’s new show, Kim and Kourtney Take Manhattan. In addition, the channel was planning to STOP airing Kim Kardashian’s wedding special.

The loss of the two shows would mean MILLIONS in losses for Kim. She currently is paid more than $2M a season for the reality show and she gets 30% of the ad revenue every time her wedding special airs. And equally as important to Kim, it would keep her OFF the TV screens.

Now you already KNOW that Kim and her mama ain’t about to let that happen.

Expect Kim and that Humphries IDIOT to RECONCILE this week, and break up OFFICIALLY, once Kim’s show airs it’s final episode in December.

Over the weekend, Kim flew to Minnesota where she met with Kris Humphries and the pastor who married them – for a last ditch effort to save their marriage. (Although several sites report different – they think Kim went to tie up loose ends.) Either way, shortly after meeting with Kris and their pastor, Kim flew back to L.A. looking oh so sad (see above).

If she blinks reeeeeeeeeeeeeally hard, a tear might come out!

As the “Saturday Night Live” sketch version of Kris Jenner put it, “I know a lot of people think Kim got married just to earn over $17 million from the wedding, but that’s not true. She also got married for attention.”

Here it is! Just five days after E! reality star Kim Kardashian announced she was ending her marriage of 72 days, “SNL” went at her with every ounce of will it had in its writers room.

This morning everyone is talking about the sketch. Several people have lashed out on Twitter, calling the skit “too harsh”. Others think it was pretty funny.

Khloe Kardashian says she can laugh at it: “u have 2learn2 laugh at urself life is 2short” she wrote in a tweet. When asked if she was offended, she wrote “Its SNL… They r supposed 2make fun Its not who we are&I know that.” Kourtney also appeared to have enjoyed it. She simply wrote: “I peed!”

What do you think of the short? It was HILARIOUS. Everything – down to Bruce Jenner’s face was priceless!

Are Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries trying to make things work? According to TMZ, the estranged couple met with their pastor for a a four-hour meeting to see if a reconciliation was possible. According to sources, it’s “up in the air”.

According to our sources, the meeting with Pastor Joel Johnson went well as they talked through lots of issues. We’re told the two expressed respect and love for each other … but both acknowledged a lot is wrong with their relationship.

Our sources say Kris was “ecstatic” Kim made the trip to Minnesota and he truly thinks he can win her back.

As for Kim …. she’s unsure if she even wants to give it another go … but for now, she’s willing to keep talking.

Kim looked incredibly stressed out. She excused herself from the house and took a phone call outside, where she was snapped pacing back and forth and appeared to be crying.
