According to In Touch, Kim Kardashian is a no-good-low-down cheater. They report, that during her six-month relationship with Kris Humphries, she was involved in a secret fling with New England Patriots star Bret Lockett, 24.
“She pursued me,” he tells In Touch. And his brother Colin — who introduced the pair at the urging of Kim’s friend Lauren London — agrees. “I was talking to Lauren about my brother, and she said Kim Kardashian wanted Bret’s phone number,” he recalls. Once Colin obliged, Kim phoned Bret immediately. “They chatted, and then they started texting each other,” Colin tells In Touch. Right away, a friend of Bret’s adds, they exchanged a photo. And before long, their texts went from friendly to flirty to sexy — continuing even after Kim and Kris first met in November, when they bonded over hot chocolate and she realized he was “the one.” Indeed, during one particular text exchange, Kim made no mention of Kris, 26. Rather, both she and Bret talked about meeting each other in person and taking a vacation together. Kim, who a friend says told Bret she was single, asked if he was ready to be her boyfriend, and Bret flirtatiously responded, “Are you ready for me?” and Kim quickly replied, “I’m sure I’m ready.” Although she claims she was in love with Kris at this point, Kim sent Bret a text, which several sources have seen, asking for a “SEXY picture” of himself, to which Bret replied she should “be patient” because soon, she’d get to see his body in person.
Kim is furious at the allegations, and has quickly responded via her website. She wrote:
I knew when I got engaged that rumors and false stories were going to start, but this is RIDICULOUS!!!! In Touch Magazine are claiming that I had a five-month secret relationship with this guy… a guy I’ve never met, spoken to, texted, called or even heard of!
This guy should be ashamed of himself. Calling up a magazine and making up an entirely fake story in a sad attempt to ruin my relationship!?!?! It’s just shameful and this guy should feel ashamed and humiliated. Is this your pathetic attempt for attention? I’ll be damned if anyone, especially some loser I’ve never even met, is going to try to come between Kris and I. My friend Lauren London has never even met this guy, so to say she was the one who set us up is totally untrue. I find it so sad that a magazine will take the word of a stranger and try to pass their story off as true. And what’s even more odd is that this guy would carry on a “relationship,” yet never speak on the phone or see me in person! Makes no sense!
The text messages the magazine claims I sent this guy are pathetic. ‘Why don’t you put in effort to try and make me your girlfriend doll?” I would never talk like that to a guy. They just threw in the word “doll” a few times and tried to make it sound like me. I talk like that to my girl friends, not to my man. It makes me sick to my stomach that anyone can call up a magazine, tell an entirely fake story, provide fake proof, and the magazine will go ahead and run it… just to sell copies!!! What a crazy world.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… don’t believe everything you read. The tabloids and weekly magazines will do ANYTHING to sell copies, and in this case they decided to run a false story, knowing they had absolutely no proof that it was real. It’s disgusting, and I will be taking legal action against In Touch magazine and Bret Lockett.
What do you think? Is Kim a cheater – or a victim?
