Kim Kardashian has assured fans her recent hospitalisation for a foot injury will not halt her appearance on forthcoming TV show Dancing With The Stars.

Kardashian was reportedly admitted to New York Presbyterian Hospital on Sunday night after slicing her foot on a glass coffee table in her hotel room.

But the star is determined to keep up with the gruelling rehearsals that lie ahead for the show, despite her bloody debacle.

She says: “You know what, I will be able to dance. I will make it. I did cut my foot pretty badly in the hotel room last night.
“There was a mirror on a Venetian little desk and it was all broken and I saw it and I almost cut my finger, so to push away from it I used my foot … because it just looked really bad… So I did hurt myself but it was fine. I went to the hospital, I’m fine.”

And Kardashian insists she’s already bearing the pain on her road to recovery, adding: “I have to wear heels all day long today and if you saw my room – it looks like a murder scene with all the blood everywhere.”

Kardashian is set for stiff competition on the show which is scheduled to air on U.S. TV on September 22nd.

Her co-stars will include: singers Toni Braxton and Lance Bass, chef Rocco DiSpirito, U.S. Olympians Misty May-Treanor and Maurice Greene, actors Cody Linley, Cloris Leachman, Ted MCGinley and Susan Lucci, American footballer Warren Sapp, TV host Brooke Burke and Hollywood producer Jeffrey Ross.

The season seven Dancing with the Stars cast was officially announced Monday on ABC’s Good Morning America, and after much Internet speculation on who would be joining the show, there are plenty of surprises.

The diverse lineup includes soap star Susan Lucci, recent Beijing Olympics gold medal winner Misty May-Treanor, Kim Kardashian and former ‘N Sync star Lance Bass. The cast also boasts the oldest-ever competitor with actress Cloris Leachman, 82, and the youngest-ever competitor with Hannah Montana actor Cody Linley, 18.

Dancing producer Conrad Green tells People that he’s anticipating this season to be one of the show’s best yet. He says, “tons of people might be contenders right down to the last week. That’s what people want – lots of competition and unpredictable things happening.”

What’s sure to also spice up the competition is the return of pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who took last season off. Also, three new dancers will join the show, including Corky Ballas (father of season six champ Mark Ballas), Lacey Schwimmer of 2007’s So You Think You Can Dance, and U.S. Amateur 10 Dance Champion Inna Brayer.

Dancing, which is nominated for eight primetime Emmys this year, kicks off its seventh season on Monday, September 22, on ABC.

The new season of “Dancing With the Stars” may have already lost its first competitor — and they haven’t even announced the official cast yet.

Kim Kardashian — who is scheduled to be on the show this season — badly cut her foot in her hotel room late Sunday night. We’re told she sliced her foot open on a glass coffee table and was rushed to New York Presbyterian Hospital. No word on how many stitches she needed, but a source tells TMZ there was “so much blood, it looked like a murder scene.”

“DWTS” makes its official cast announcement this morning and Kim is in town to do press for that and her new movie, “Disaster Movie.” We’re told Kim has already begun to practice for the show, but it’s unclear now whether she’ll be able to participate.

Will Kim Kardashian be the next celeb to make it official? The reality show star told People magazine that she and her football beau Reggie Bush do indeed “talk about” walking down the aisle.

“I think I finally made the right choice,” she says about her longtime boyfriend. “He’s just a really sweet, normal guy.”

So will the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star be saying “I do” in front of the world?

“Without cameras,” she declares — at first. “They’re going to want it, so you never know.”

The New Orleans Saints may be eager to fill stadium seats, but there’s at least one famously generous derriere that they hope won’t be hitting a Superdome seat cushion too often this season.

Kim Kardashian’s hot ‘n’ heavy relationship with running back Reggie Bush has some of her beau’s trainers concerned, a source tells E! News.

“Whenever you have an athlete dating a celebrity personality, it ups the glam factor surrounding that athlete,” says a Saints team insider.

“That doesn’t always bode well for a player’s game ability. You’ve got to have your head totally in the game. Ask Tony Romo’s teammates what happens every time Jessica Simpson shows up.”

To be fair, Kim and Reggie were already an item last football season. But Reggie only played 12 games after tearing a knee ligament.

“A lot of eyes will be on him,” says the insider of this season. “So we have to make sure his eye is on the ball, literally, and not on his girlfriend.”

So far, that doesn’t seem to be a problem. Kim was already in the stands during a recent scrimmage game in Jackson, Miss. Did it blow her boy’s game?

“Nope,” says the source. “Reggie did good. Damn good.”

Awww…Maybe Kim will really turn out to be his lady luck. Top that, Jessica!
