Kid Rock’s arraignment for battery charges relating to an October 2007 incident at Atlanta, Georgia’s Waffle House has been postponed. The rocker/rapper - real name Robert Ritchie - was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor of simple battery after the scuffle on October 21st. He was due to be arraigned in Dekalb County in Georgia on Monday, but the case has been postponed until February 4th. And there’s good news for Rock - he could escape the charges altogether, depending on further evidence, according to the Dekalb County Solicitors Office.

The other man involved in the fight has been charged with a felony count of second degree criminal damage to property after breaking a window in the incident.

For the second year in a row, Kid Rock spent his Christmas performing for US troops overseas. This time he was joined by fellow celebrities such as Robin Williams, Lance Armstrong, Lewis Black, & Miss USA 2007 Rachel Smith for an eight-day, seven-country tour. It’s great to see that Kid was back again this year showing his support for all our forces overseas and joined by such a stellar group of stars. We love these celebrities even more when they’re spending time bringing love and entertainment overseas. Of course, our thoughts, hearts, and holiday wishes go out to every single one of our troops.

Kid Rock was arrested early Sunday after a brawl at a restaurant and spent about 12 hours in jail before being released.

The musician stopped at the Waffle House restaurant shortly after 5 am after his performance at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, authorities said.

“He and five members of his entourage were involved in a fight with a male customer inside the Waffle House,” said Mekka Parish, a spokeswoman for the DeKalb County Police Department.

The customer recognized a female with Kid Rock’s party and exchanged words with her.

“It escalated to a physical altercation between Kid Rock and that male customer and moved outside to the parking lot,” she said. At some point the customer punched out a restaurant window, she said.

Kid Rock left in his tour bus and was stopped by police about a mile from the restaurant, Parish said.

The musician and five members of his entourage were taken into custody on a misdemeanor charge of simple battery.

The other customer was charged with criminal damage to property, a felony, Parish said.

Kid Rock was released from the county jail on bond about 5 p.m.

A telephone message left with Kid Rock’s publicist was not immediately returned. The other customer was treated at a hospital for cuts and bruises. No one in Kid Rock’s group was hospitalized, police said.

Kid Rock wants the $500,000 wedding ring he gave to ex-wife Pamela Anderson back.

The rocker - who split from the former ‘Baywatch’ babe in 2006 - wants Pamela to give back the expensive piece of jewelery now since she has married husband #3 Rick Salomon.

Kid quipped: “Maybe she’ll send my ring back. I doubt it, but, boy, that would be nice.”

He also offered some words of advice for Rick, saying: “Why buy the cow, when you get the milk for free?”

This is true and it made me laugh really hard upon reading it!  Man Pamela is just the picture of classy isn’t she? She’s looking rather weathered these days!

“I knew what I was getting into with the whole Pam fiasco. Thank God I made my mark, and music, before I got into that shit storm. I’ve made certain moves I gotta live with the rest of my life, but I’m not gonna bitch about it. I think I can bring it back to the music now.

I thank God I got out of that. In hindsight, it was the best thing for my son and I that I ever did. Now my friends are speaking out, saying “Good move.” But I had to touch the stove to know, and it burned the fuck out of me.”

Rock also went on to talk about the paparazzi:

“I say if you do interviews with Us Weekly, don’t be pissed off when they photograph you out at the park with the family, shopping or whatever. You can’t have it both ways. I have no sympathy.”

Kid Rock claims Pamela Anderson lied about a miscarriage during their brief marriage last year.

Anderson lied while they were arguing about visiting her on the set of a movie in Canada, the 36-year-old rapper alleges in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

“She’s in Vancouver shooting a movie and I have Lakers seats on the floor, and I’m gonna go to the Lakers (basketball) game with my friend Jesse James,” the 36-year-old rapper says.

“I’m like, `Baby, I got these tickets. I’ll see you on the weekend there,’ and that leads into her saying, `You don’t care about me, blah blah blah,’” Rock says. “She finally comes up with this: `I just had a miscarriage’ … and hangs the phone up.”

Rock, claiming he was unaware that Anderson was pregnant, says he chartered a plane and flew to Vancouver. “When I get there, she’s partying at this restaurant, drinking champagne, jumping on the tables. I’m thinking, `That’s a quick recovery from a miscarriage.’”

Last November, a spokeswoman for the former “Baywatch” star said Anderson had suffered a miscarriage. Later that month, Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, and Anderson filed for divorce, seeking to end their marriage of less than four months.

In response to the allegations, Anderson’s publicist, Cindy Guagenti, referred The Associated Press to an e-mail that is quoted in the magazine’s story.

“I hope his album does well,” the 40-year-old actress says. “I hope he’s happy in life. We were married for four months. If he has nothing nice to say about me, then please tell him to stop talking about me.”

Last month, Anderson and Rick Salomon applied for — and were granted — a marriage license in Las Vegas, according to Clark County’s Marriage License Bureau.

Rock’s latest album, “Rock N Roll Jesus,” is due out next Tuesday.

Kid Rock has no regrets about divorcing Pamela Anderson after just three months of marriage - he didn’t want to waste time after realizing he didn’t love his ex-wife.

The rap/rocker appeared on a radio show on Thursday to address his fight with Anderson’s first husband, Tommy Lee an the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday. But he couldn’t stop himself from blasting his ex, calling the day he filed for divorce last November “the best thing I ever did.”

He said, “I went through what I went through, and there’s no doubt it wasn’t love - we went through all these things, but then coming out of it pretty much unscathed, after uprooting my son and a lot of things, it’s like, ‘Thank god I’m out of this.’”

Rock insists he’ll never go into great detail about why the marriage didn’t work out, but he warns people not to believe Anderson when she portrays him as a terrible husband.

He added, “It had zero to do with her. Of course, she’ll tell everyone she was the victim in it, like always.”
