Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s wedding reception was a candy lover’s dream. The place was filled with more than 17,000 packages of sweets!

“Lamar has a huge sweet tooth and has been a fan of Wonka Candy for a long time,” a publicist for the company tells Life & Style. “They contacted us on Friday, almost last- minute. That was partly to protect the secrecy of the wedding, I think. They requested tons of Wonka Candy.”

To create this candy land, Wonka pretty much depleted its storeroom in Seattle to send the rushed shipment to the happy couple.

“We heard from Lamar’s rep this morning that everyone was going crazy for it and absolutely loved it. We sent a huge assortment, but people especially loved the Nerds and the gummies. We heard there were around 250 guests,” the publicist adds.

Khloé and Lamar were married Sunday at Irving Azoff’s mansion in Beverly Hills.

After just one month of dating, Khloe Kardashian and Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom have married, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.

The ceremony, which began Sunday afternoon just after 5 p.m. with the traditional Wedding March, was held at the Los Angeles mansion of Kardashian family friend and music manager Irving Azoff.

It is the first marriage for both Kardashian, 25, and Odom, 29, who has two children from a previous relationship.

Kardashian’s immediate family members — mom Kris Jenner, stepfather Bruce Jenner, sisters Kim, 28, and Kourtney, 30 and brother Robert — were among the 200 guests, who received cupcakes in purple and yellow Lakers colors as favors.

Kardashian’s bridesmaids wore short strapless lilac dresses.

Also in attendance were Odom’s L.A. Lakers teammates, Ryan Seacrest, Kelly Osbourne, reality star Brittny Gastineau and TV personality LaLa Vasquez.

“I wish them the best, and I’m sure they are going to have a great, happy, long marriage,” Vasquez told Us at an event last Thursday.

Kardashian and Odom made their first public appearance Sept. 3 at West Hollywood club Guys and Dolls.

“Khloe is smart and beautiful, and that is very hard to find,” Odom — who recently signed a four-year, $33 million contract with the Lakers — told Us at the time.

Why the rush to the altar?

Odom’s basketball schedule was one issue. (The Lakers are set to play their first preseason game on Oct. 7.)

“Khloe and Lamar [wanted] to get married before Lamar has to go away for training, and the [basketball] season starts up [this fall],” a source tells the new issue of Us Weekly.

Despite the quickie nuptials, the pair will last, their friends tell Us.

“They are just a great couple,” wedding guest Gastineau told Us last week. “I think when you meet a couple, you can just tell if they work. And they work.”

Added Lakers player Ron Artest, “Love is strong, so I think it’s cool. I’m happy for them.”

And older sister Kim isn’t bitter that Khloé’s getting hitched, even though everyone expected that she and Reggie would be having the next Kardashian wedding. “I’m pleasantly surprised that Khloé’s getting married,” Kim exclusively tells Life & Style about Khloé’s nuptials. “It was totally unexpected. Lamar is one of the sweetest, most compassionate guys I know.”

“Marriage will definitely change her,” Kim tells Life & Style. “She will learn to live with someone, take care of someone, have and share a life with someone. This is when her life begins!”

Wow, talk about a whirlwind romance!

It’s been about a month since Khloe Kardashian and L.A. Lakers forward Lamar Odom began dating, but the couple plan to marry, and are currently planning their wedding, two sources confirm to People.

Earlier this month, The Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami star’s older sister Kim told People of the couple, “They’re very, very happy. They’ve been together a few weeks, and are literally inseparable. Khloe thinks he’s amazing and makes her laugh and smile constantly.”

E! News reported Thursday night that Khloe, 25, and her basketball beau, 29, have recently been “talking about rings.”
