Was ‘Grown Ups’ good enough for a sequel? I don’t get the draw to Adam Sandler and his movies. My husband caught a sneak peek of ‘That’s My Boy’ this week, and said it was AWFUL. But what do we expect from Sandler? He’s the same guy who brought us ‘Jack & Jill’ (which I would only watch if it were a choice between that and death).
I was actually just talking about him last night (and how horrible ‘That’s My Boy’ was) and we concluded that the only good Adam Sandler movies are the ones where he’s playing a serious character. For example, I loved ‘Funny People’ and ‘Punch-drunk Love’.
I’ll give you Sandler-fans one, I did like ‘Just Go With It’… that was pretty cute.
