Blog sites were buzzing recently with reports that “The Duchess” starlet Keira Knightley had made a specific demand that her breasts not be augmented for the film’s promotional posters.
But according to the British actress herself, she doesn’t recall the topic even coming up.
“I don’t remember anybody telling me that they wanted to give a boob job to the poster,” Knightley told us. “So I’m glad they didn’t.”
And the 23-year-old is making no secret of hiding the fact she’s pretty proud of her well, flat-chest.
“I’d love to say that I was really strident and went “absolutely not” if they’d asked to enhance my breasts,” she added. “But I don’t remember it ever coming up, which is rather nice.”
Not augmenting your chest is one thing, but Knightley was willing to sacrifice a more crucial part of her body for her royal role. In one scene her hair catches fire, but it turns out that she “was quite up for” the director’s vision of really setting her wig ablaze.
“I think the insurance people said, ‘You’ve shot half the movie, and if she goes up in flames then we’re not going to be able to finish it. So you’re not allowed,’” Knightley said. “So it is actually computer graphics.”
And while the itty-bitty beauty seems at home playing a mom in the Victorian classic, she definitely left her maternal instinct on the set.
“I don’t want one (a child) thanks. I’m all right,” she said with a laugh. “Never say never, but right now I’m fine. Thank you very much.”

Keira Knightley insists she hasn’t secured the lead role in the remake of My Fair Lady just yet, despite reports to the contrary.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star is the favorite to take Audrey Hepburn’s iconic role in the update of the 1964 musical, based on George Bernard Shaw’s comedy of manners Pygmalion.
But Knightley is adamant a final casting decision has yet to be made - so she’s keeping her “fingers crossed”.
However, if she does become the leading lady, she is keen to try and hit the high notes - and sing all the musical’s songs without any help.
She tells MTV.com, “It’s an interesting prospect, but there’s nothing concrete. Fingers crossed on that one (landing the part). I like doing things where I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to do them or not (singing). I think you have to push yourself. You have to admit you’re going to fail at some point. You’ve got to try. Like with anything I do, there’s always a part of me that says, ‘I can’t do that. This is going to be the one where I fall on my face completely.’ It would be exciting to try it.”

Keira Knightley has revealed she has no plans to reprise her role as Elizabeth Swan in the Pirates of the Caribbean series.
The actress, who can currently be seen in The Duchess, starred in three films in the franchise alongside Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom.
However, Female First magazine reports that she is planning to explore other kinds of films.
“I think it was wonderful and an amazing opportunity and those films were just extraordinary and I was extremely lucky to be a part of them,” Keira told the publication.
“But no. I think my pirating days may be over.”
Meanwhile, Johnny Depp has reportedly reunited with Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski to work on a new animated film Rango.
According to online news resource the Hollywood News, Depp will voice one of the characters in the film, which sees a household pet embark on an adventure to discover itself.
The film has a release date of March 2011 set.
