Patrick Swayze could be set for a return to the big screen - as surfer movie Point Break is set to be revived in a sequel.
A follow-up to the 1991 film, which also starred Keanu Reeves, is reported to be in the pipeline - and Swayze could reprise his role, health permitting.
The sequel is due to be shot in Singapore and Indonesia, and is set 20 years after the disappearance of Swayze’s character Bodhi, reports British newspaper The Sun.
The cast for the movie is as yet unconfirmed.
Earlier this year, Swazye confirmed he was suffering from pancreatic cancer.

Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure co-stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter were recently mistaken for “fat” lookalikes of their movie characters by a fan who spotted them together in New York.
Despite vastly differing career paths, Reeves and Winter are still close pals, almost 20 years after the 1989 movie, and its 1992 sequel - something devotees of the cult films find hard to comprehend.
Reeves reveals, “It freaks people out. We were hanging out in New York recently. We went to have some dinner. We came out and it was Halloween. These two guys in Smurf uniforms came up to us and one of them said, ‘Oh look it’s two fat guys who want to be Bill & Ted.”

Keanu Reeves won’t be reprising his role as time traveller Bill S. Preston, Esq. in a remake of 1989 cult comedy Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure.
Reeves found fame starring alongside Alex Winter in the movie, as well as the 1991 follow up Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey.
According to internet reports, a remake is being planned with an updated script and a modern spin.
But the Matrix actor won’t be taking part. He insists, “If there is (a remake), I’m not there.”

Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter’s cult comedy Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure is set for a remake, according to internet reports.
This time around, the hapless duo’s rock band is called Atomic Gorillas, not Wyld Stallions, and their time traveling brings them into contact with Gandhi and Calamity Jane, according to MovieHole.net.
The new film reportedly features an updated script with plenty of modern references and an homage to new Batman film The Dark Knight. Casting details have not been announced but it’s unlikely Winter or Reeves will play a part in the remake.
Would you go see it?

On Feb. 25, an eyewitness spotted Matrix hunk Keanu Reeves cozying up to the queen of indie films, Parker Posey at swanky L.A. hotel the Chateau Marmont.
“They were sharing a seat and sitting very, very close,” the source tells OK!. “It was probably the oddest couple I’ve ever seen.”
It’s hard not to see what 39-year-old Parker likes about the Speed star. But despite his obvious good looks, Keanu,43, is a bit of a departure from the type of men Parker has been known to date. Her past boyfriends include rocker Ryan Adams and author Thomas Beller.
The last time we saw Keanu getting jiggy with anyone, it was with Sandra Bullock on the set of their movie, The Lake House. Perhaps Parker is taking the name of her new sitcom The Return of Jezebel James (premiering March 14 on Fox) to heart.
Hey, they say opposites attact!
