Katy Perry stood by her husband’s side as his movie ‘Arthur’ premiered today in London.
The 26-year-old singer wore a long nude dress with crystals (so unflattering!), while Russell Brand opted for a Dolce & Gabbana suit.
Before the premiere Russell Tweeted: “Arriving at ARTHUR, I’m gonna sneak some tweeters in. Don’t act (fishy) suspicious.”
Hopefully the movie does better overseas! The movie has tanked in the US.
Katy Perry has been accepted as an honorary Brit for many reasons, most notably because of her British husband, Russell Brand. She claims that now she’s adopting British terms from this point forward and tossing away American slang, much to the thanks of her hubbie.
“Russell’s teaching me British slang and phrases now. I say, ‘I’m dining out on that one mate,’ and say ‘bin’ instead of ‘trash’ and ‘holiday’ instead of ‘vacation’.
Katy feels a new connection to our allies overseas, saying:
“I feel a connection to British people because of my husband. I could be left alone in the UK and get on OK.”
I think it’s a pretty cool video. Katy looks hot as an alien!

The music video was leaked online today – but it’s being taken down almost as quickly as it’s being put up. Only thing we’ve seen so far is a teaser clip, lyrics and stills from her much-hyped upcoming video, which features Mrs Russell Brand in extraterrestrial make-up as she embarks on an intergalactic adventure.

Katy Perry has worn some wild costumes before. This one takes the cake.
The pop megastar constantly shakes up her look, creating a fantasy land of different disguises: she’s gone sexy toy soldier; worn a latex catsuit; gone adult-style Candyland; and even suited up in seven unique outfits for the Kids Choice Awards, including goth, hippie and geek.
For her new “E.T.” remix video, she’s going off into space, donning a purple face, alien features and quite the head dress.
The video is set to release next week!
Russell Brand and Katy Perry make, by far, one of the hottest Hollywood couples in the scene.
In case you didn’t know, the two first met when Russell hosted the 2008 MTV Video Awards. They later connected when he rehosted the show in 2009… and Katy threw a bottle at his head!!! (HILARIOUS!) Russell recalls, “I thought that was really rude, and we entered into some badinage and she held her own.”
Well, throwing the bottle at his head must have paid off because three months later, the Brit popped the big question in India.
“I nearly asked her to marry me on our first date. It was like a hit of acid, a wave of confusion, emerging from under the water, a moment of Oh bloody hell, different perception for a moment, extraordinary…And then I thought, I’ll give it space and see what happens.”
Russell goes on to explain how much Katy means to her…
“It’s the most normal relationship I’ve ever had with anybody. She’s very spirited, bighearted, innocent, but very, very smart. Someone told me that enlightenment is contingent upon being able to hold opposing views simultaneously. I’m actually attracted to that magnetism and sort of repulsion. She’s endlessly fascinating…I was at a point in my life where I was ready to behave. I look at it the way I look at most things: One day at a time. I will say it’s very, very rewarding and I love her.”

Katy Perry’s mom is not a huge fan of Katy’s racy act. Page Six is reporting that Katy Perry’s mom, Mary Perry Hudson, is shopping a book about her Christian faith and the choices her daughter is making – and the effect they’ve had on her family.
Perry, whose real name is Katy Hudson, began her career as a Christian singer. She’s been open about her upbringing, saying her parents were strict disciplinarians.
“We were never allowed to swear,” Perry has said. “I’d get into trouble just for saying ‘Hell no.’ If you dropped a hammer on your toe in our house you had to say something like ‘Jiminy Christmas.’
“The only music we were allowed to listen to was gospel. No wonder I rebelled!”
In the proposal for Hudson’s book, it states, “Amid a torrent of negative reports from tabloid magazines and entertainment shows, Mary Hudson wants to tell ‘her story’ and dispel a lot of rumors. Katy’s success has impacted her ministry in both negative and positive ways.”
“She loves her daughter very much and is very proud of her accomplishments, but disagrees with a lot of choices she makes in her career. This memoir is to set the record straight. It is not Christian proselytizing or a Katy Perry tell-all. It is the story of Mary Perry Hudson.”
While Mary Hudson doesn’t support all of her daughter’s choices, she does support the most important one: Hudson’s marriage to raunchy comedian Russell Brand. At this year’s Academy Awards, Hudson announced to PEOPLE, “I just can’t wait for them to have babies. Grandma, here we come!”
