Taylor Swift And Katy Perry ARE Feuding!

Taylor Swift And Katy Perry ARE Feuding!

It appears that country singer Taylor Swift is really feuding with pop singer Katy Perry! Taylor said that she was feuding with another singer because this other singer tried to sabotage her arena tour, but refused to name names. Now, people are putting the pieces of the puzzle together because some of Katy’s former backup dancers are coming out of the woodwork to tell their sides of the story. TMZ reports:

The 3 dancers had actually worked with Katy first, but when Katy’s tour ended several years ago they needed work. So they signed up as dancers during Taylor’s tour.

We’re told the dancers told Taylor up front … they did not want to sign for the full tour — they wanted a 30-day out, and we’re told it’s because they were just waiting for Katy to go back on tour.

When Katy hit the stage again, they gave their 30-day notice, but Taylor got so pissed off she fired them on the spot.

All of this went down a year ago but we’re told Taylor held a grudge, which boiled over when she wrote a song — “Bad Blood” — alluding to Katy screwing her over.

Perhaps she should’ve thought ahead of time to get people that weren’t going to jump ship when Katy went back on tour? Maybe Katy treats her backup dancers better? It’s hard to say why they left (easier/harder routines, etc), but their obvious loyalty lies with Katy.

Whose side are you on? Team Katy or Team Taylor? Have your say in the comments!

Taylor Swift & Katy Perry Feuding?

Taylor Swift & Katy Perry Feuding?

Country singer Taylor Swift appears on the latest cover of “Rolling Stone” magazine. Inside, she talks about her newest song “Bad Blood” and how it’s not about an ex-boyfriend. She said that it’s about a mean girl pop star who tried to dis her in a big way. The Huffington Post reports:

“For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not,” she said. “She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?’” But last year Swift said the artist “did something so horrible,” which led Swift to believe the two were “straight-up enemies.” Swift explained, “And it wasn’t even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.”

The beef Swift discusses isn’t a “big girl-fight,” she said, but she wanted fans to know the song wasn’t about an ex-boyfriend. “You don’t want to shade someone you used to date and make it seem like you hate him, when that’s not the case.” Still, though, “1989″ seems to have some lingering nods in one ex’s direction. Swift revealed more new track names in the cover story, including” “I Wish You Would, “All You Had To Do Was Stay,” “Out Of The Woods” and “Style,” which are reportedly about Harry Styles. “1989″ is due out Oct. 27.

Perry isn’t taking anything lying down, though. She took to her Twitter page to say, “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing..”

What do you think is going on?

Katy Perry: ‘Being Famous For Nothing Is Disgusting’

Katy Perry: 'Being Famous For Nothing Is Disgusting'

Katy Perry thinks that being famous for nothing is disgusting, so we can only imagine what she thinks of the likes of Kim Kardashian and their whole ilk.

In the issue of “Rolling Stone”, she talked about fame and how useless fame is disgusting. She revealed to the magazine, “I never wanted to be famous. That’s a byproduct of what I do. Fame is truly a byproduct of the dream that I had. People want to be recognized for their work, but nobody wants to be famous for nothing. Fame is, I think, disgusting.”

She continued, “And it’s really hard to separate your public life from your personal life. Useless fame is disgusting. I think if you’ve got a talent or something to offer, a creative thing to offer to the world, then I think that’s beautiful. But that famous for nothing thing is kind of gross. It’s a bummer. And, you know, I only ever just wanted to make music and be on stage and play.”

They should’ve asked her to name some useless famewhores….just for the giggles…

Katy Perry Has Tried Dating Normal Guys

Katy Perry Has Tried Dating Normal Guys

Katy Perry has dated her share of famous men, but she wants us all to know that it’s not their fame and fortune that she is attracted to. In fact, the singer has revealed that she has dated normal guys in the past.

She revealed, “It’s not that they have to be famous, although there’s a level of understanding when they’re in the same business, you know? They understand what it means when you’re tired from a show or the tour’s exhausting you or if an interview went wrong – they know all the ins and outs, so you can just walk into the house with a certain face and they understand, you know?

She doesn’t actually require a man to have a huge bank account and be a part of the in crowd in Hollywood. She says that she one main point that a man has to achieve before consideration. She added, “And what I really like is someone that understands music, because I love music. So anybody that understands the power of music, I’m usually instantly attracted to.”

Any takers?

Katy Perry Doesn’t ‘Need a Dude’ to Have a Baby

Katy Perry is appearing on her third Rolling Stone cover, which will be on stands Friday.  The pop star has had nine number-one singles and sold over 81 million singles, and over 11 million albums.  She has clearly achieved great success – but she doesn’t yet have it all.  In her interview, she talks about wanting to someday, have a child:

“I want to be doing that in the right time,” she says. “And that’s not in the next two years, you know? Maybe it’s in a five-year plan, but I need to really be able to focus 100 percent of my attention on it. I don’t really want to take the child on tour. Not until, like, birth through five is over.” And there doesn’t necessarily have to be a man in the picture, she adds, mentioning her friends Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka.  “I don’t need a dude. I mean, Neil and David, their twins are beautiful. It’s 2014! We are living in the future; we don’t need anything. I don’t think I’ll have to, but we’ll see. I’m not anti-men. I love men. But there is an option if someone doesn’t present himself.”

Perry also gives hope to awkward girls everywhere when she explains that she was ‘awkward’ in high school:

I mean, they called me ‘over-the-shoulder boulder holder,’ and I wasn’t that cute. I looked like a square – a rectangle, actually – because I was going through my teenage awkward phase.”

I’m sure those who mocked her are regretting their mean words today!  Perry has certainly had the last laugh.
