Probably one of my favorite annual celebrity parties is the Met Gala. I LOVE it. If you follow me on Facebook – you probably noticed that last night (if you’re not, then shame on you – you’re missing the fun!)

Every year, Anna Wintour picks a theme for the Gala, and this year the theme went punk! “PUNK: Chaos To Couture” Costume Institute Gala was held at the MET Museum in New York City last night.

Above we have Beyonce, who showed up in head-to-toe Givenchy (who seems like the hot designer last night!). What do you think of her look? Too matchy-matchy?

Kristen Stewart wore a pantsuit by Stella McCartney. I think it could be really beautiful, if it didn’t look like she was rocking a bad case of moose knuckles. (Her makeup is HOT, though.)

Miley Cyrus certainly ran with the theme! She wore a mesh gown by Marc Jacobs, and that hair! Wow!

Of course everyone was talking about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. The couple both wore outfits by Givenchy. Most of my fans on Facebook commented that Kim looks like a couch, and that’s probably one of the nicer things to say. Yes, she’s wearing gloves in the same fabric as her dress. There is nothing punk about her look, either.

EVERYONE was shocked to see Anne Hathaway’s red carpet look! She wore a see-through vintage Valentino gown from 1992, but everyone was shocked by her now-platinum hair! What do you think of her look?

Katy Perry went regal with the help of Dolce & Gabbana. She looks great, very cool. Again, not punk – but still – she looks hot!

John Mayer has never been extremely reserved when it comes to talking about ex-girlfriends. Some of his previous victims include Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Love Hewitt. He famously said sex with Jessica Simpson was like “crack cocaine.”

All that changed once he started dating Katy Perry, and since they got together last summer, he’s been very quiet. Until now. The 35-year-old singer stopped by the Ellen Degeneres show and gave a little insight to their off-again romance.

“It was a very private relationship going in,” he said during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing Tuesday, April 2. “It was a private relationship during and it’s a private relationship still.”

DeGeneres noted that the last time she had seen Mayer was at the Grammys, which he attended as Perry’s date. “I know Katy. She is a good friend, and I know that since then, you’re not together anymore,” the talk show host began. “And I just want to say, I love you and my thoughts are with you.”

Mayer thanked her for her support but remained mostly mum on the details of what went wrong between him and the “Wide Awake” starlet. “I can understand asking the question based on some previous answers I have given, but I have finally learned how to put the wall between one thing and the other,” he explained. “I’ve been much happier since then.”

I think Katy can do so much better than John. Hold out Katy!

Shockingly, there are more rumors about the breakup between Katy Perry and John Mayer!

Word on the street was that John was only dating Katy to stay in the spotlight while he recovered from his throat granuloma. Well, now people are saying that maybe there’s a little extra info that we may not know, and by extra info, I mean extra pounds!

“John Mayer seems to be “Hot N Cold” when it comes to Katy Perry. After gushing over his relationship in recent interviews, stating that he is “quite happy,” the music industry’s most notorious ladies’ man has hit an all-time low — dumping Katy for getting fat! The “California Gurls” singer, 28, who started dating 25-year-old John last summer, is “devastated,” says a pal. “She is so confident, but as soon as she put on a few pounds, he was constantly putting her down.” Despite John’s shallow reasoning, insiders say a shattered Katy would still like to make it work! “She’s going to make sure she looks amazing,” continues the source. “She wants him to take her back.”

John Mayer, 35, and Katy Perry, 28, have called it quits…. again.

Several sources tell US Weekly, “It’s sad,” but the sources think the breakup might not be permanent. “It’s not over until it’s over. You have to see how things play out. She’s leaving the window open. They have both been so focused on work.”

Indeed, Perry has been busy recording her third studio album in Los Angeles, while Mayer — on the mend following serious vocal problems and throat surgery last year — is prepping for upcoming tour dates and a live Google Hangout chat this Thursday, March 21.

Following their September 2012 reconciliation, the twosome seemed to ramp up their relationship: The “Waiting on the World to Change” troubadour visited Perry’s Santa Barbara hometown in November, they attended high-profile events together as a couple, and Mayer, famous for his string of A-list exes, gushed about Perry in a January 60 Minutes interview. “I’m very happy in all aspects of my life,” said Mayer, who had messy splits with the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Love Hewitt, to name a few.

Perry, who finalized her divorce from Russell Brand in February 2012, was tweeting happily about her man as recently as March 2. “My boyfriend is taking me to a kitten shelter in his truck,” she wrote to her nearly 34 million followers. “I can’t think of a more perfect Saturday.” But on Monday, March 18, she suggested she’s been dealing with turmoil. “ATTENTION: Mercury is OUT of retrograde today. Thank GOD,” Perry wrote.

First thing that came to my mind was what I said last week. Katy Perry signed a $2 million book deal, and reportedly was going to talk about not only her ex-husband Russell Brand, but her then-boyfriend John Mayer as well. I couldn’t believe she’d include John in her book – who is he…. in the big picture… other than her boyfriend? He ain’t never going to marry you Katy – move on!

Not only did Katy Perry star in her own documentary – but the singer is also about to be the subject of an autobiography. Do we really need a book about Katy Perry? Is there much left to learn? Hmm, anyway…the singer reportedly earned $2 million for her book.

The news comes on the heels of Russell Brand’s own book deal. He will reportedly address the divorce in memoir, a follow up to “My Booky Wook.”

Perry has reportedly agreed to tackle the subject head on, but it will hardly be the first time she’s publicly discussed the breakup. “Katy Perry: Part of Me,” the singer’s 3-D concert movie, featured a one-sided account of the divorce that framed Brand as the one who wasn’t willing to put in the time and travel required to keep the marriage strong.

It’s also rumored that Perry will address her relationship with John Mayer in the book. The two singers have been dating for some time now, and things are reportedly quite serious.

Why would she put John Mayer in her book? They’re just dating. I realize it might be serious, but why would you include a boyfriend in an autobiography? I can’t imagine ever wanting to read this book. I’ll just wait for the quotes.
