BFF’s Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham are hatching a plan to combine their twin obsessions – fashion and kids – and launch a line of baby clothes.

“Katie drew sketches of a dress she wanted Suri to wear on her birthday, and they discussed it over a glass of wine,” a source close to Beckham, 33, says.

And though Holmes’ rep says, “Katie is not starting a clothing company,” the source insists “they’ve been talking about it for months.”

The pair even want to enlist a pro from Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. line to help, adds the pal.

And apparently Holmes, 28, knows her way around a sewing kit: An employee of L.A.’s International Silk & Woolens says, “Katie comes in all the time. She makes pillows, curtains and all kinds of decorations for her home.”

Katie was spotted leaving a costume fitting in LA today.  She is set to begin filming “Mad Money” co-starring Queen Latifah and Diane Keaton.

I hate to believe all the rumors floating around about Katie…but she sure looks 1/2 dead lately.  It’s like her spunk is gone or something.

When Tom Cruise lets his inner control freak get the best of him, there’s one person Katie Holmes, 28, knows she can count on for a shoulder to cry on: her British best friend Victoria Beckham.

“Katie has been crying over the phone,” an insider says. “She’s frustrated. Tom is denying her every single thing.”

The insider adds: “Once, Katie and Victoria talked on the phone for four hours.”

And Beckham has seen how domineering Cruise can be firsthand. A source close to the 44-year-old actor says that he is relentlessly trying to convince the ex-Spice Girl, 32, and her husband, soccer star David Beckham, 31 (who are moving to L.A. this year), to convert to his religion.

“Victoria is sick and tired of Tom being on her back about Scientology,” says the source. “Victoria is an old-fashioned British woman who believes in God. She finds it quite rude that Tom is bugging her so much. Not too long ago, Tom left 18 messages in one hour to get them to join the church.”

The source adds Victoria has put her foot down to Tom’s pressure. “When she says no, she means no.”

Cruise’s rep tells Us, “This is completely false. Tom does not and never has encouraged anyone to adopt Scientology.”

Suri’s outfit is a bit dreadful…if you ask me.

Tom Cruise loves his wife Katie so much, he’s planning to go with her to the set of her new film – every single day.

According to Page Six, in the next month or so, Holmes will be going to Shreveport, La., to begin work on “Mad Money,” a chick-buddy-heist flick that also stars Diane Keaton and Queen Latifah. And the seemingly uxorious Tom has told producers that he’s going to be on set every day, with baby Suri in tow. What’s more, an insider says that Tom chose the movie for Katie because there’s no love interest for her and no love scenes.

A producer for “Mad Money” tells the Post he doesn’t know if Cruise’ll be around, and a TomKat rep had no comment.
