Katharine McPhee is on stage performing for the crowd at Six Flags and it looks like she’s having a great time. I just don’t know how I feel about those shoes.
What do you think?

Entertainment Weekly’s website, EW.com, just broke the exclusive news that “American Idol” runner-up Katharine McPhee is joining Anna Faris (”Scary Movie”) in an as-yet untitled comedy to be produced by Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions. The movie will star Faris as a Playboy bunny who gets evicted from the House of Hef and then stumbles into the job of a den mother to the lamest sorority on a nearby college campus. McPhee will play one of those sorority girls.
Here’s what Katharine McPhee had to say in Stuff Magazine’s upcoming August issue:
On having children: “I want to have, like, 15 babies. I’ve always wanted to be pregnant.”
Her desire for children sparked an idea for a Halloween costume: “One year for Halloween, I decided to be pregnant, so I got this nun costume, and I put a big belly under it. I showed my parents and said I want to go to school as a pregnant nun. My dad sat me down and said, ‘Katherine, you can’t!’”
Katharine, 23, is currently dating stage performer Nick Cokas, who is nearly 20 years her senior. She says she has had a thing for older guys ever since she became legal.
On dating older men [she is currently dating Nick Cokas, 20 years her senior.]: “When I turned 21, I thought it was a good age to explore. You’re no longer a teenager, so it’s okay [to date older guys]. I gravitated toward them, and I love them. They’re just wiser, and they’re less about themselves and more about you.”
I don’t know about that last statement. Isn’t a healthy relationship about the partnership and not necessarily being focused around just one person? Sometimes celebrities come across as being so selfish, and half the time I don’t even think they realize it.
