She has dated some of the wildest men in showbusiness, but Kate Moss says that her most memorable kiss was with Frank Sinatra – who ‘lunged’ at her after surrounding her with his security guards.

The supermodel was just 21 when the extraordinary episode took place in 1995 at the singer’s star-studded 80th birthday party in Hollywood.

She had arrived with her then boyfriend, actor Johnny Depp.

But though Depp is renowned for his fiery temperament, Kate reveals in a new interview how Sinatra got the better of him.

‘There was still a twinkle in his blue eyes. Yeah, major,’ she says.

‘I was sitting down having a cigarette, and he spotted me and made a beeline to me. He got all of his security to close in so Johnny couldn’t get to me.

‘So we were encircled and he’s like, “How are you doing, little lady?”

‘And I said, “Happy birthday, Frank,” and he just lunged for me. He kissed me on the lips, then gave me a filterless cigarette. I came off all lightheaded. He was fabulous.’

At the same party Kate, now 34, met another music legend – Bob Dylan. This time there was no sexual chemistry, she recalls in the September issue of Interview magazine.

‘I put my hand out, and Bob didn’t put his out,’ she says.

‘I took my hand away, and he put his out. We finally did shake.’

Fashion designer Roberto Cavalli has launched a scathing attack on model Kate Moss – describing her as a professional clothes horse.

The Italian fashionista – who uses the model in his campaigns – claims Moss has no star quality.

He says, “There are thousands of models like all the other thousands of models. Naomi Campbell is the same way. For me, models are just pieces of wood that I carve to make clothes look beautiful.”

Kate Moss is reportedly set to sign a $50 million deal to take her fashion range to China.

The catwalk beauty struck a deal with U.K. retailer Topshop in 2006, which sees her design two clothing lines a year for the high street chain.

The collection has subsequently been launched in the U.S. with the clothing line stocked at exclusive New York department store Barneys.

And now Moss is rumored to be on the verge of signing a lucrative agreement with Topshop owner Sir Philip Green which will see her designs go on sale in China.

A source tells British newspaper the Daily Mail, “For the Chinese teenager with an eye on Western fashions, Kate Moss is pretty much the coolest person on the planet. Philip Green knows that only too well.”

Green reveals that talks are in progress for a Chinese launch, but the details have yet to be finalized.

He says, “Nothing has been confirmed yet.”

Naomi Campbell has offered Kate Moss her support amid rumors of a split with rocker Jamie Hince – and insists she is “lucky” to be friends with the fellow model.

Campbell is full of praise for Moss, promising to be there for her “best friend” whenever she has any problems.

She says, “I am so lucky to have friends like Kate, who are there for me whatever. Even if we are not on the same continent we support each other. That’s what best friends do. I’m there for her, without a doubt, if she’s going through relationship problems or any troubles. We’ve been through so much together.”

Kate Moss is reportedly back in touch with her ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty – sparking rumors they are set to rekindle their romance.
The couple split last year after a string of rows over troubled rocker Doherty’s failure to kick his heroin and crack cocaine habit.

A source tells Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “Over the last three nights he and Kate have texted each other until the early hours. Pete’s been showing the texts to mates and thinks he is on the verge of winning her back, but his mates aren’t convinced.”
