With her jetset life and relentless partying, supermodel Kate Moss has come to rely very heavily on the dedication of Jade Davidson, the nanny who cares for her five-year-old daughter.

But, amid claims she often works 24 hours a day, 22-year-old Jade has resigned from the £500-a-week job.

Jade, the younger sister of Kate’s clothes-designer friend Sadie Frost, has cared for Lila Grace for two years.

Sources say the budding actress, who used to look after Sadie’s children, is “very attached” to Lila.

But she is tired of being on call round the clock and has found Kate’s rootless living arrangements difficult.

The model has not returned home after her split from singer Pete Doherty and lives in friends’ houses.

Kate offered Jade a pay rise to stay, but she turned her down. She will care for Lila until the end of her notice in January.

“Kate is in the middle of moving and is not living at her own house so it’s not a great time to be without childcare,” said a friend of Kate.

“Jade refused a pay rise and there is a tension between her and Kate now.”

Kate, 32, is selling her £3million London home in St John’s Wood and lives during the week at her friend Davinia Taylor’s home in North London. At weekends she has a room at Sadie Frost’s with her daughter.

“The last straw was moving to a small room in Davinia Taylor’s house,” said a friend.

“With Kate life is spontaneous. One afternoon they are going to Paris, the next week it’s America. Life is totally unpredictable. Kate isn’t happy Jade is leaving but there’s not a lot she can do.”

Kate shares custody of Lila with her ex, publisher Jefferson Hack.

A spokesman for the model declined to comment.

Sienna Miller and Kate Moss, both known for their demure behavior at public functions got into a screaming match at a freaking wedding, before reformed scenester Sadie Frost stepped in and told them to have a little respect for the bride and groom, and maybe act like, oh say, 12 year olds.

According to the UK Sun, the two charming beauties were fighting over the attention of Rhys Ifans…this guy. Yeah, that guy. Um…ok. Apparently Moss was cranky that Rhys stopped being exclusively seen in posh London clubs inebriated with her and instead has been spending lots of drunken, slobbery nights at posh London clubs with Miller.

Evil glares were exchanged across the dancefloor as the tension mounted between the two camps.

And after some serious alcohol lubrication it all kicked off.

A witness at Saturday’s bash told me: “Kate had a go at Sienna and accused her of stealing her style. She was ranting on about how Sienna was now trying to steal her lifestyle and her friends too.

“It was really cutting and everyone was listening to them.

“A few drinks had been sunk by the time Kate said it and Sienna had plucked up some Dutch courage too. She gave Kate as good as she got.”

After Sienna fought her corner with an obscene tirade of her own, an unlikely peacemaker stepped in — Sadie.

Let’s not forget Sadie once despised Sienna for getting together with her ex JUDE LAW.

My favorite trainwreck of all time, Pete Doherty, gave his ex-gal pal, Kate Moss, a great present…… a dead mouse. Nothing says “I Love You” like a dead rodent I’ve always said.

According to a source, it’s not a gag gift, or even a harassing gesture.  Pete’s just trying to show Kate how he feels.  “Pete is trying to emphasize how he feels about Kate – defeated, crushed and broken, like a dead animal.”

I’m sure Kate is as touched as the next gal would be. At least the mouse wasn’t painted on with someone else’s blood.

Kate started the night a picture of old-fashioned glamour in an expensive vintage dress – but ended up revealing her lack of underwear after the dress was torn in several places.

And it looks as though the initial damage might have been done as the supermodel posed for pictures with singer Courtney Love – a stray toe catching on the 3ft train.

Kate Moss had arrived with fashion photographer Mario Testino at the Victoria & Albert museum to celebrate its new exhibit ion – and she looked demure in her bias cut gown.

Then it was all downhill.

First the dress, costing several thousand pounds, developed a little rip just beneath the right shoulder blade.

Then, perhaps because of the frailty of the vintage cream satin, a gaping hole appeared in the middle of the back and another in the rear, revealing an apparent lack of underwear.

Kate Moss is desperate for ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty to return two videotapes documenting the former couple’s unusual daily activities – because she doesn’t want to be humiliated.

The British catwalk star reportedly dumped the Babyshambles singer earlier this month (Jul07) and is said to be anxious about the whereabouts of the missing video diaries, fearing they could fall into the wrong hands and end up on the internet.

She and Doherty regularly took a video camera with them on their travels and some clips have already surfaced online – one of which shows the troubled rocker singing to a half-naked Moss. But the 33-year-old is allegedly worried Doherty could resort to selling the footage for money after he suffering a relapse in his efforts to kick his heroin habit.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun, “There are still some bits and pieces floating about of Pete with Kate. “She has got rid of most of it. Six out of eight tapes have been destroyed. But she wanted to bury the lot before he could humiliate her by selling them or putting them on the internet. Pete could do what he wants with them.” Referring to the video clips previously posted online, the source adds, “If they made that public, just think what could be on the tapes they held back.”

Doherty is believed to have recently sought treatment at the clinic under the order of a judge following a conviction for driving illegally while in the possession of Class A drugs last month (Jun07).

Supermodel Kate Moss is taking refuge at the home of close friend and confidante James Brown after her break-up with troubled rocker Pete Doherty, according to reports.

Moss has largely avoided the paparazzi since breaking up with Doherty and is now said to be under the watch of Brown, a celebrity hairdresser.

An enraged Moss is also said to have burned her once treasured collection of Doherty’s lyrics, love letters and poetry.

One source told The Sun: “Kate gathered quite a collection of Pete’s rambilings over the two years. Now she’s decided to cleanse herself of him by burning the lot.”

She ended her relationship with Doherty following claims he slept with South African model Lindi Hingston and since then, Italian Lara Laghi has claimed she and the rocker slept together eight months ago when he was reportedly engaged to Moss.

Earlier this month, Moss called changed the locks on her North London home and called removal men to cart away Doherty’s possessions, including art work and instruments.

But it has emerged that Doherty’s alleged infidelity was not the only factor in their split.

The same source told the paper: “They already had a huge row over money before Pete went on the pull.

“Kate claimed he hadn’t asked her first. It had made her question whether she could ever trust him again.

“They had a fall-out and Pete’s reaction confirmed in Kate’s mind that it was really the time to let go.”

Doherty’s troubles continue – his former girlfriend Lisa Moorish has reportedly issued him with a writ over failed child support payments for their four-year-old son Astile.
