Kate Hudson’s ‘A Little Bit of Heaven’ best be better than the trailer!

The Weinstein Co has released an early international teaser trailer for A Little Bit of Heaven, a romantic dramedy from director Nicole Kassell (The Woodsman, The Closer, Cold Case). The film stars Kate Hudson as “a guarded woman who finds out she’s dying of cancer, but when she meets her match, the threat of falling in love is scarier than death.” The film co-stars Gael García Bernal, Romany Malco, Kathy Bates, Whoopi Goldberg, Lucy Punch, Rosemarie DeWitt, Steven Weber, and Johann Urb.

I think it’s a terrible trailer! The music is bad, the scenes of heaven with Whoopi look cheesy and dumb. I don’t see any chemistry between Kate and Gael – I’m not sure I understand that casting. I hope the movie is better than this – cause from where I’m sitting it looks like a straight-to-DVD movie.

BREAKING: Kate Hudson is pregnant!

Another musician baby is on it’s way!

A source confirms exclusively in the new Us Weekly, out Wednesday, that Kate Hudson, 31, is 14 weeks pregnant with boyfriend Matthew Bellamy’s baby.

“It was not planned, but they are excited and embracing it,” the source reveals to Us.

The insider adds that the actress, who has been dating the Muse frontman, 32, for nine months, is stoked for her 7-year-old son Ryder (with ex-husband Chris Robinson, 44) to have a little playmate.

“She is happy for Ryder to finally have a brother or sister,” says the source.

These kids are going to have it made! Their dads are the lead singers of ‘The Black Crowes’ and ‘Muse’. Not too shabby!

Kate Hudson punched mom Goldie Hawn in the lady bits.

Here is Kate Hudson at last night’s 17th Annual Elle’s Women in Hollywood Tribute.

At ELLE’s 17th Annual Women In Hollywood Tribute Monday in Beverly Hills, Goldie Hawn honored daughter Kate Hudson.

During her introduction, she recalled Hudson’s raucous birth in 1979.

“I was on the 405, and she was inside me, and I was fooling around, and I felt really good, about 8 months [pregnant], and I was going to name her Rebecca because it was biblical and romantic and gentle. All of sudden, she punched me so hard in my you-know-where,” Hawn, 64, told the audience. “I screamed and I said, ‘Oh my God. This is a Kate, not a Rebecca!’ She is a Kate!”

On delivery day, Hawn continued, “I was lying there and they were slicing and dicing or whatever, I had a C-section, I had my nails done … and all of sudden, out she comes and they said, ‘It’s a boy!’ And I said, ‘No it’s a girl!’ And, by the way, I didn’t know what it was. I just felt that it was a girl. And then they said, ‘Oh, no it’s a girl!’ And I said, ‘What part of her anatomy were you looking at?!’”

Hawn said Hudson, now 31, was “a voracious eater. She is a voracious human being and she still likes to eat. And she is also voracious about life.

“I will say, I am very proud,” Hawn continued, looking at her daughter. “I am deeply proud of your character, and I am very proud of your tenacity. You stick to your guns … and I am proud of your talent.”

Find out what Kate said when it was her turn to speak.

Director offered Gwyneth Paltrow sex for a movie role!

Gwyneth Paltrow opens up in the new Women in Hollywood issue from Elle Magazine. The magazine released three covers; Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson and Hilary Swank. The women opened up about past Hollywood struggles and where the women are today.

Paltrow, 37, explains how her road to success wasn’t always easy.

“When I was just starting out, someone suggested that we finish a meeting in the bedroom,” she reveals. “I left. I was pretty shocked. I could see how someone who didn’t know better might worry, ‘My career will be ruined if I don’t give this guy a blow job!’”

She says she sometimes feels “dejected” when she looks at roles being offered to women nowadays.

“There’s a lot that’s okay, but there’s little that’s really good, especially for someone my age,” she says. “Sometimes you find out that something you really liked is going to someone 10 years younger. I find it heartening that Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock have been able to find and create amazing projects.”

“Apart from the fact that she’s my mother, she’s a brilliant comedian and a force as a producer,” she says. “She paved the way for women to produce and star in their own films and to balance that with being the matriarch of our family is really inspiring.”

She says she agrees with Paltrow that great roles for women “tend to be dispensable. I have faith that we can make female-driven films that are as interesting to men as they are to women.”

Swank, meanwhile, says she can still get her hands on meaty roles.

Take her new drama Conviction, for instance, in which she plays a poor woman who becomes a lawyer to get her brother off death row

“I’d put Conviction up there with Million Dollar Baby as two of my best experiences,” says the two-time Oscar winner, 36. “Sam Rockwell and I had some scenes where the director yelled and we were dropped back on Earth. You literally go someplace else. That does not happen very often.”

Kate Hudson at a studio in Santa Monica with her boyfriend, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy

Kate Hudson was excited to get a visit from her rocker boyfriend yesterday afternoon as she spent some time in a studio in Santa Montica.

Kate has been giddy in love since she started dating boyfriend Matt Bellamy, who is the lead singer of Muse. They couple first met while Kate was filming her movie ‘Something Borrowed’. Her costar told press that Kate and Matt were a “match made in Hollywood Heaven.”

“It looks like they started dating while we were filming. I think her heart was already set on this guy. (Kate) did bring him by the last day of shooting. So, I got to meet him, and he’s a cool guy.”
