Kate Hudson is ready to take things to the next level and start a family with Owen Wilson, according to friends of the recently reunited couple.
The actress has reportedly been apartment-hunting in New York with the aim of creating a love nest for her and the Wedding Crashers star.
“She is ready to nest and has even been talking about having more little ones,” the NY Daily News’ Gatecrasher column quotes a pal as saying.
Kate is said to be ready to settle down again with Owen, after reported flings with Justin Timberlake and Dax Shepard.
“She is relieved to be more settled again,” adds the friend. “She really felt as if she were testing her limits going out while she and Owen were separated.”
The first started dating after meeting on the set of You, Me and Dupree in 2006, following Kate’s split from husband, Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson.

Kate Hudson is glad she is a strict mother because her son Ryder has become the perfect child.
The Almost Famous star chose to strongly discipline her child – with ex-husband Chris Robinson – because her mother Goldie Hawn let her run wild as a kid.
And the Fool’s Gold actress thinks her tough tactics have paid dividends because the four-year-old is so well behaved.
‘When I had Ryder, suddenly there were a lot of rules,’ she says. ‘I’m much stricter about things like manners than I thought I’d be. My mom wasn’t strict at all. He had a couple [of tantrums]. He had a couple and I would just stare at him and wait. He would realize I wasn’t doing anything – unaware I trying desperately to remain calm inside – and he would stop. It worked.’

It’s definitely on again for Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson. First, on March 16, the lovebirds were spotted stepping out in Miami, where Owen is shooting Marley & Me with Jennifer Aniston. And then they made the South Beach scene again over Easter weekend.
“They had a date night at Regal Cinemas South Beach,” a source tells OK! about the earlier meet-up. “They got dropped off on Lincoln Road and held hands as they walked a few blocks before heading into the theater.” And, adds the source, once the movie was over, they drove off to Owen’s Star Island house.
And over Easter weekend, the pair spent time in Biscayne Bay with Kate’s son Ryder from her marriage to Black Crowe’s singer Chris Robinson.
Kate has been a semi-regular fixture in Miami since early March, and a source says, Owen is the sole purpose of her visits to Florida. “They are trying to keep it low key, but when she is in Miami, it’s for Owen,” says the insider.
Kate, 28, and Owen, 39, who began dating in the fall of 2006, ended their relationship in May 2007, but rumors of a reunion swirled after they were seen flirting at Madonna’s post-Oscar party in February.
