Alex Rodriguez may have won the World Series, but Kate Hudson took home the prize!
Days after A-Rod, 34, and his New York Yankees became champions, he gave Kate a $39,000 white-gold ring set with pink sapphires and diamonds from Louis Vuitton. The Les Luxuriantes ring from the French design house was Alex’s way of thanking Kate, 30, for her support during the series, according to an insider.

“He has a World Series ring, and now she does, too,” the insider explains. “It’s a beautiful piece of jewelry and very unusual — just like Kate herself. He clearly knows her style and has great taste.”
The insider says it definitely wasn’t an engagement ring, but Kate was still thrilled nevertheless: “She, of course, thought it was such a romantic gesture.”

Kate Hudson helped her baseball star beau Alex Rodriguez celebrate the New York Yankees’ championship win on Wednesday night by partying with his family.
The actress joined celebrities including her mother Goldie Hawn’s longtime partner Kurt Russell, director Spike Lee, real estate mogul Donald Trump and R&B superstar Mary J. Blige, who sang the National Anthem before the game, at Yankees Stadium to cheer the team to victory.
Hudson proved to be Rodriguez’s lucky charm as the all-star team cruised to a 7-3 win against the Philadelphia Phillies, landing them their 27th World Series.
The Almost Famous star joined the victory party at Manhattan hotspot 1Oak, where she danced the night away with the Yankees, as well as Rodriguez’s mum, Lourdes, and his sister, Suzy.

The new Us Weekly reports that Kate Hudson has been trying to make New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez less of an egomaniac.
It must not be easy.
A former Rodriguez fling remembers seeing portraits of the slugger, 34, as a centaur hanging over his bed.
“He was so vain,” his ex tells Us Weekly. “He had not one, but two painted portraits of himself as a centaur. You know, the half man, half horse figure?”
Adds the ex, “It was ridiculous.”
Us Weekly also reports that Hudson, 30 — who has been front and center at his baseball games since they began dating this past spring — has been bragging to pals about what a good lover Rodriguez is.
“They love sex!” a pal tells Us Weekly of the pair who began dating in May. “They talk about it all day. Kate gets graphic talking about his body, even to her parents.”

Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz, and Marion Cotillard grace the cover of Vogue’s November issue in various shades of red to promote their highly anticipated Nine movie.

Kate Hudson has only been dating New York Yankees baseball star Alex Rodriguez for a few months, but she’s already hoping to start a family with him.
The actress has a son — Ryder, 5 — with ex-husband Chris Robinson, but a friend of hers explains: “She just turned 30 and she’s ready to have her second child. She wants Ryder to have a sibling, so she brought up the idea to Alex and told him that they would make a beautiful baby together, and that she would assume all financial responsibility.”
But the pal adds that A-Rod, who has daughters Natasha, 4, and Ella, 16 months, with ex-wife Cynthia, is just not ready for more kids right now.
That hasn’t stopped him from getting closer to Kate. Last week, the couple stayed at a Hyatt in Toronto together when Alex was there for a game. “Kate loves Toronto and has friends in town,” explains an insider, but it doesn’t sound like she spent much time apart from her boyfriend.

“Kate and Alex had a major romantic dinner date at the Bymark — a very high-end restaurant,” explains the insider. “After dinner they went straight back to their suite at the Hyatt, and she didn’t surface until 2 the following afternoon!”
Kate has even introduced Alex to her mom, Goldie Hawn, and Goldie’s partner, Kurt Russell, who accompanied her to Yankee Stadium on August 8 to watch the Yankees play the Boston Red Sox.
“They cheered when Alex was at bat and he smiled at them when he was on third base,” says an onlooker. Kate has become a fixture at Alex’s games, and she was recently joined by mom Goldie and Goldie’s partner, Kurt. “Alex was flirting with Kate” in the stands, says one baseball fan.
