Kate Hudson was seen leaving the Met Gala in May with Diplo (above), whom you might remember as the DJ who calls Taylor Swift out before that was cool, and Katy Perry’s ex. Anyhow, he’s very successful and I am attracted to him, but I guess Kate beat me to the punch because the two are said to have hooked up some time last week in Ibiza.
Kate Hudson has found her boy of summer: Diplo. “They are dating,” a source reveals a source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly.
The actress and the DJ, both 37, who exited NYC’s Met Gala together in May, connected in mid-July near Ibiza, Spain, the insider says. She was vacationing with girlfriends; he had a day off after playing nearby at club Pacha. (His rep denies the romance.)
She documented her travels and raved about her trip via Instagram. “What a blast,” the Marshall star posted July 18. “Til next time, Ibiza!”
Before the getaway, she reunited with her ex fiancé, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, to celebrate their son Bingham’s fifth birthday by jetting to London July 9 to see the new Harry Potter play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. (The Glee alum also shares 12-year-old son Ryder with her ex-husband, Chris Robinson.)

I’m glad she’s over her last, awkward thing with Nick Jonas, honestly. But girl has a type and I wish she’d stop banging musicians!
Also, do you remember how Cher tweeted earlier this week that Kate Hudson’s clothing subscription service, Fabletics, was BS? Well Life & Style has a new story about how Kate is mad at her mom, Goldie Hawn, for buying clothing from a competitor. So maybe Kate needs this summer fling to feel better about herself, overall.
Get it, Kate.

Sorry, Kate Hudson. Even CHER thinks your Fabletics active clothing line SUCKS.
Here’s the background: Fabletics is a subscription based service which charges you $49.99 every month (unless you remember to opt out) and sends you workout clothing. You can send back the clothing for store credit, but there are catches/caveats/weird asterisks, surprise surprise. Some customers say that it was unclear when they first filled out a survey on Fabletics and purchased cheap clothing that they were authorizing the company to charge them monthly. Oh yeah, and you can also ONLY cancel on the phone even though it’s an online company. Convenient.
When singer Cher tried to use Fabletics (which is also amazing in its own right. Love you, cher!) she went through the sign up service, which includes a quiz indicating your style and clothing preferences, and got the impression that it wasn’t a legitimate sale. She wisely opted out and then tweeted about it, saying that something wasn’t right essentially:
THen, Fabletics issued a statement to Business Insider and it’s all very tongue in cheek:
First of all, we LOVE Cher! So bummed she did not like our member quiz. The introductory quiz helps us better understand our customers and personalize the shopping experience. By asking shoppers for their style and size preferences, we’re able to save our customers tons of money and eliminate waste. We try only produce the clothing that people want. It is true that some people don’t like to shop this way, but there are over 1 million active customers of Fabletics who love it. I wish we could turn back time and explain all this to Cher.

Funny, I guess. But also kinda rude? Not sure I’d ever use Fabletics before this- and definitely not going to after.

Kate Hudson and her mom Goldie Hawn are gearing up for a low-key, fairly weird Mother’s Day.
On the red carpet of the annual Goldie’s Love In For Kids benefit in Beverly Hills, California the mother-daughter duo told reporters they plan on spending the day in bed being served brunch and mimosas by the men of the family.
“We’re going to Kate’s,” Hawn said. “Everybody’s kids will make things, and all the guys will be there, and then we’ll all get in bed and eat.”
Eh, weird. I know Hudson, 37, and Goldie, 70 are close, but come on. First of all, why isn’t KATE spending time with her two kids? Is this just no calorie, appreciate Goldie/Kate day? Are Kate’s kids (Ryder, 12, and Bingham, 4) chopped liver? Or will they be slaving over a hot oven making their mom some kind of gluten-free pancake? Bing’s only 4! COME ON!
Also, Kate is IN the movie Mother’s Day, which is obviously currently in theaters. So they aren’t going to see/premiere that? All this sounds super weird. Sigh. Well, I guess mothers day is whatever you make of it.

Kate Hudson, this feels weird and lame.
The actress was a blushing bride on Saturday night…but don’t get any weird “surprise wedding” ideas: she was just celebrating her 37th birthday in the lamest, most worst Sex And The City B story way she knows how: by having her annual “Hot Mess” party, a joint celebration of she, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer and author Derek Blasberg‘s birthdays, held at Kate’s Pacific Palisades, California, home.
“It was some night,” Hudson wrote of the party, alongside a photo with the birthday stars. “Love you guys #NothingLikeAJointBday #AprilBabies #AnnualHotMessParty #WeddingEdition.”
Hudson and Meyer were dolled up in I guess 80’s bridal attire (of course veils included). Kate Hudson- not to be outdone- also celebrated her day earlier in the week, on Tuesday.
The festivities drew the likes of Demi Moore, Rachel Zoe and Chris Martin, who were spotted arriving at the bash. But hey, we didn’t see Nick Jonas, which may have been for the best. #HOTMESS
