Kate Gosselin’s nanny got so fed up with her antics and behavior that she decided to walk out on her and her eight kids – quitting!

The nanny, Ariel Cantara, had just about enough of Kate’s nastiness, so she did what anyone else in her situation would do.

An inside source close to Kate, said, “Kate is not the easiest person to deal with. She drove Ariel insane. Kate’s controlling and a neat freak. No wonder Ariel quit.”

And Ariel isn’t the first nanny to give Kate the kiss-off. “She has gone through about 11 nannies and tons of helpers in the past few years,” says the insider to Life & Style. “Shifts can last up to 24 hours, and you have to go on trips with the family. Sleepovers are often required, and there is no set schedule with days off. You work when Kate says she needs you to work.”

The Kate Plus 8 star, who’s currently not on TV, could save some money by being a more hands-on mom (she’s been known to pay her nannies $25 an hour) — but that, of course, would interfere with her salon appointments and bid to make it in Hollywood.

“Kate is unavailable to her children,” says the insider. “She never plays with them anymore and is constantly busy with her personal affairs. That’s why she always needs a nanny!”

John Gosselin posted this open letter on his Twitter just a few minutes ago. In it, he goes on and on about wanting to get his kids off of TV, and how broke he is.

I’m not sure if I believe him, he has seemed like such a douche in the past. Has he turned over a new leaf? Does he really want what’s best for his kids? The impression I got from the letter was he’s a bit miffed that Kate Gosselin is making money off the kids – and he’s not. Kate is busy filming Kate Plus 8 for TLC, and Jon is busy with – nothing. Does he really want his kids off TV, or does he just want to make money off them like their mom does?

As you may or may not be aware, I have been working for some time to remove my children from television. I do not believe being on TV is beneficial to any of them. They are no longer toddlers that are oblivious to what is going on around them. They are now six and ten, in school and desperately in need of a normal life.

Each of them has experienced negative effects of having their lives so public. Some are struggling with emotional and/or behavioral issues. My goal for my children is for them to have a normal childhood, and gain back their much deserved privacy. This is not about money, this is about my children. No amount of money is worth the price my children are paying. You cannot put a price on childhood. Money comes and goes, but you only have one childhood.

For those questions about money and support, I can say I am supporting my children to the best of my ability. All parties involved know the truth about this. I am and have been actively seeking employment. I have been barred from accepting entertainment deals that would generate income for my family due to contractual obligations. I am also actively looking for a job outside of the entertainment industry and so far, have not secured a position. In the mean time, I have been focusing on spending time with my children and providing a safe, stable, normal and private environment for them!

On October 13, 2010, I went to court to act in the best interest of my children- to remove them from television. The judge respectfully denied my plea, and granted filming rights to their mother. I honor the judge’s decision, but I do not support it. I will not stop fighting to remove my children from television. It is not a child’s job to support themselves, or a lifestyle, they need to be kids. I would like to apologize to my friends, family, and especially my children for not taking a stand earlier in my life and not questioning my decisions to have our lives documented and displayed. I will have to answer to my children for the rest of my life. I will have to live with this guilt the rest of my life. I am truly sorry!

Kate Gosselin, 35, made and appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly. Kate told Kelly Ripa and guest host Anderson Cooper that she and her ex-husband Jon Gosselin, 32, still have alot of tension between the two of them.

“It’s…you know,” she said. “I do try to keep it as peaceful as possible.” The level of tension “depends on the day.”

The biggest issue, Kate claimed, is the time their eight kids spend at their dad’s nearby apartment.

During those visits, Kate said, “I basically wait for the phone call from how many of them want to come home.”

Jon’s residence, she explained, “is not [their] home; it doesn’t feel like home to them … they want to be at home — in their house” in Wernersville, Penn.

She pointed out that the latest visitation schedule (part of their custody arrangement) is still “new to us. It’s only been three months that he’s actually been spending time with them and taking them.”

Jon Gosselin caught his ex-wife’s TV appearance and lashed out via Twitter:

“As much as I want to respond to numerous LIES recently claimed on Regis and Kelly, I will refrain. I have learned from the past that it’s a waste of my time and energy. I am ‘rising above’, and refuse to engage in any sort of public argument that could potentially harm or upset my children. My children and the people in my life know the truth, and that is what’s important.”

At this point, who knows who’s telling the truth. I think it’s about time Kate and Jon quit fighting via the media.

If you’re a sweet mama’s boy you need not apply. Kate Gosselin is looking for someone who is tough and can handle all 8 of her kids.

At an Emmys after-party in L.A. on Sunday, the reality mom told a fellow reveler what kind of man she’s looking for: “a tough guy, like a cop, to whip my kids into shape,” Kate, 35 said. Someone, the divorced Kate Plus 8 star added, “who can handle my situation.”

I am sure there is a man out there somewhere who can handle all 8 of Kate’s kids. The question is will he be able to put up with Kate!

Hailey Glassman is claiming that her ex Jon Gosselin would threaten ex-wife Kate Gosselin unless she gave him money. Supposedly the threat was that Jon was going to call Child Protective Services on Kate if she didn’t pay up.

One of Kate & Jon’s 8 kids, Mady hurt her arm. And Jon was going to say it was Kate’s fault.

Jon is not having it. He says that Hailey’s accusations are totally false. But Hailey claims to have hand-written notes by Jon to prove her accusations are spot on.

Jon would not give a comment to Radaronline, but did take to his Twitter account to make a statement.

“Radaronline has been duped again by Hailey Glassman, who is apparently without a job and desperate for money,” Jon wrote on his Twitter account.

“This article contains so many lies, they are too numerous to count. It is completely false and without any merit.”

If the hand written notes are legit, this could be a problem for Jon. Hailey says Jon made notes of points he wanted to bring up to Kate during their conversations.

“Look, the documents and the evidence speak for itself,” Hailey told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview on Wednesday after hearing about Jon’s denial.

As for Jon’s allegations that Hailey doesn’t have a job, she says that’s a charge that applies to him!

"I'm waiting for JON to get a job so I can sue him for the money he owes me. HELLO!" she said.

Hailey told RadarOnline.com that Jon often refers to himself in the third person, and the notes reflect that. In one of them he wrote: “Jon giving Kate ultimatums. He privately extorts Kate. If you don’t do what I want, I’ll do this…”

If there is any truth to this, then Jon has really sunk to a new low. I hope these accusations are false.

In Touch can exclusively reveal that Kate and her brood have traveled to Alaska with cameras in tow to meet up with the northern state’s most famous resident, Sarah Palin. “Sarah, Kate and the kids will go camping,” a source says, adding that Sarah’s father, a retired science teacher, and brother, a third-grade educator, will conduct a hands-on natural history lesson for 9-year-old twins Mady and Cara, and 6-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Collin, Leah, Hannah and Alexis. Kate Gosselin answered questions while co-hosting The View on whether or not she had any plastic surgery or botox.

Here’s what she had to say to the ladies on The View.

“I’ve had a tummy tuck — we all know that,” Gosselin, 35 says.

She hedges when asked about her boobs. “Why is it so fascinating? I got a good bra!” (A pal tells Us Gosselin had breast enhancement surgery in March 2009, with bodyguard Steve Neild giving her advice.)

Botox? “Absolutely not,” she claims.

Initially she somewhat dodges the breast enhancement question, but then later flat out denies having a boob job.

I tend to believer her. Why lie? She know there would be a huge backlash if she got caught in a lie. Plus she has 8 kids! Of course she’s got big boobs.

She also denies any rumors that she will be the next Bachelorette.
